Just an awesome hotel located in a very nice neighborhood. Great vegan food served by great chefs and a nice laid back atmosphere. My room was simple and cozy and the outdoor shower was magnificent! Great hotel for a single person or couple looking to get away from hustle and bustle of everyday life or tourists.

Excellent front desk service there for you 24 hours a day very helpful. I booked the glass cottage which is very small only for one person. Very nice quiet place to just relax and get some rest and Recovery. They have yoga every morning paddleboard tours. The coffee is great in the morning and brunch is okay small portions I was a little disappointed and not always prompt at 8 a. M. The chef really nice guy though. Wish they had more vegan options. All around great place to stay. In a nice gated community with plenty of security.

This is a beautiful property with very friendly staff. Check in a Check out is an easy process which definitely adds to the experience. One of the most unique thi hs was that we were offered a tour of the place, wow! definitely a gem!

The Dreamcatcher is in a gated community with guards/security on premise. The area was very residential. The rooms were relatively small and had outdoor bathrooms that were covered and private. Everything was very clean and had plenty of amenities like shampoo, soap, etc. The courtyard in the hotel was amazing with lots of beautiful gardens and fountains. Food service, although there was a late night check in fee since our flight arrived late.

Do you want to have the most peaceful vacation time? This is the place, relax, unique, only 3 minutes walk to the sand & beach. The staff! The best plus the attention and the hotel tour. Is no way to rate this location below 10.

We have been coming here since they opened in 2013 for our annual summer vacation. Originally from Puerto Rico, this is my home away from home. My husband and I got engaged here. This is the most romantic place in Puerto Rico, very close to the beach. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. The owners have done an incredible job and you can tell they are dedicated in constantly improving the hotel. Every year when we return we find things changed and improved. We love it!

Beautiful atmosphere and lots of charm. Tons of nice little details. The owners and staff have created a little sanctuary in the middle of a San Juan. A couple of things: the glass room is not a great sleeping experience as the ceiling is about a foot from your face… some of the rooms with out a bathroom are very far from the shared bathroom and there are toilets without washing sinks.

When my girlfriend and I were searching areas in Puerto Rico, this little B&B came up. The girls that work there are so friendly and helpful. The rooms were quaint and very simple with very nice decor. The area was quiet which is always a plus when people live busy lives. Close to old san Juan with shopping and great restaurants! The beach was gorgeous and would highly recommend this place and island for anyone. The locals are very nice as well. Thank you from us both, Puerto Rico!

The Dreamcatcher is the epitome of heaven on Earth. Peaceful and relaxing, this B&B is honestly one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. The rooms are both gorgeous and unique, the whole staff is friendly and accommodating, the vegetarian brunches are fabulous (and I'm not even vegetarian), and the beautiful beach is steps away. Take advantage of all the activities The Dreamcatcher offers — tours, yoga and tarot, group dinners, in-room massage, or even take an Uber to surrounding areas and beaches. Sylvia's map was so helpful during our stay and gave us incentive to explore Ocean Park. We loved our stay at Dreamcatcher so much that we're already planning a trip back in 2019!

We have been visiting The Dreamcatcher almost annually since 2014. This place is a one-of-a-kind. This place has a very special meaning to us as my boyfriend proposed here to me. The staff is amazing, extremely attentive. The food offerings are mostly vegan/vegetarian and though we are both meat eaters we dream of their brunch all year round. Only one reason to visit over and over again. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side but their creative layout and beautiful decor as well as the luscious outdoor spaces make up for that. With not doubt a 5 star!

Stayed here for three nights. My husband had meetings all day and I stayed back at the inn every day. Breakfast was an absolute delight. I loved to hang out in the open kitchen. I felt like a was attending a daily cooking class. I felt very safe walking to lunch in the neighborhood and hanging out at the beach every day alone. Overall, The Dreamcatcher was one of my favorite hotels. Love the hippie atmosphere! So relaxing!

We stayed last year for our summer vacation. We loved the place for its bohemian charm and the beautiful details in every corner. We were lucky enough to meet one of the owners, Stephan and it turns out he is from Germany (so are we). We really enjoyed talking to him and learn more about the project itself and the wonderful stories he had to share. It is truly a magical place, not your typical mainstream hotel though. Outdoor Showers, Lizards in the garden, birds chirping, friendly people, very communal but also enough space to retract and relax. We will be back! Thanks Dreamcatcher for a great experience, we are happy to hear you recovered well from the Hurricane!

If you're looking for an interesting unique place to stay then the Dreamcatcher is it. The place is very chill great vibes very tranquil and clean. It is operated by friendly staff who know the area. Rooms are all unique, and feature outdoor showers. Situated just a block from the gorgeous clean beach. Don't miss out on breakfast by their talented chef. If you're lucky you'll get to meet the owners cute pups.

This is a little hidden gem in San Juan. Very close to the beach and within walking distance of several places to eat. I can only tell you about room 55 but it was great. Neat little outdoor patio.

I will start by saying this guest house is not for everyone, if you’re not an outdoors person you may not enjoy it. However if you’re looking to reconnect with nature and change it up from the traditional hotel/resort atmosphere this is the place. It is seconds from the beach, friendly staff, and very clean. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting San Juan and will absolutely be staying here again next time I return to the island.

This hotel is filled with originality. The staff is super friendly and make sure that you are comfortable. I feel that they go above and beyond with their service. The room we stayed in was clean and refreshing. The cook was superb as well, we ended up seeing her as a friend during our stay even though it was only a couple of days. I would highly recommend this place, the area seems to be very safe and is close to many restaurants and about a 2 minute walk to the beautiful beach.

So we accidentally booked this place on Expedia and I thought I'd regret it but I was totally wrong! The place is gorgeous! The receptionist was so nice. The communal bathroom was alot better than I thought. Parking was a breeze. I don't know… there was nothing to dislike about this place. I'd totally come here again!

Had to cancel per emergency. Did not want to give money back. So I lost a night. Owner very rude. Also did not tell us we had to share a shower and bathroom with other quest.

We love the dreamcatcher and all the members of the dream team. If you are worried about coming to Puerto Rico and staying at the dream catcher post hurricane Maria, let me put your fears to rest. Stephan and Sylvia have been hard at work making the dreamcatcher better than ever. They showed us some of the projects they are working on including more full suites with bathrooms and a new guest room. This isn't our first trip here and it certainly won't be our last!

Hotel Boutique en Ocean Park, San Juan.

I didn't stay at the his BnB. However, my brother-in-law did and was able to see his room, and the amenities. The place is clean and different. Not for everyone, however; its focus is vegan cuisine. I did take one of the tours (Gilligan's Island) and loved it. Pablo, our guide, was excellent and seemed very focused on making our tour as pleasant, and enjoyable as possible. Unfortunately, they only advertise this tour to guests at this BnB; we were able to tag along my brother-in-law and his wife. They should expand the tour beyond the dream catcher; we all loved it, and haven't seen any hotel offer it.

Feelings like your in your very own house. Right next to the beach and tje staff is very accommodating. They give out beach chairs and boggie boards. Highly recommend!

A good place to stay… Close to the beach at day and close to the party at nigth. 5 min far to "la placita"

The rooms and common areas are the most beautifully and perfectly decorated-I love love love the vibe here. Free water and coffee/tea and a big friendly dog who wanders around for hugs and kisses. I re-arranged my trip just so I can stay here again.

Best hotel I've been to. It was more like a family oriented environment than anything. It was my first time in Puerto Rico and I enjoyed it! They also included a tour which was just amazing. The hotel is literally by the beach walking distance it took us less than 5 minutes to get on the sand! They also provided chairs and umbrellas for us to use. They have really great breakfast (all organic) yoga sessions omg just book there it's amazing it's different if you're looking for somewhere unique to relax BOOK NOW!

The location is a little tricky to get to, but once there the gated community and beach are wonderful and there are plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby. The rooms are small but comfortable with outdoor bathrooms and showers that are much more pleasant than one would expect. The service was wonderful and I even got roped into a yoga session that I quite enjoyed.

One of the most amazing experiences in my life! From the relaxing vibes, the outdoor showers and terraces, to the vegan breakfast/brunch… I don't think anything could top this place. If you are looking to relax and enjoy nature this is the place for you! I will definitely be back!

Beautiful unique relaxing, a place to get away. You can walk to so many unique shops and places to eat. The rainforest and Gilligan Island were so much fun. Visit old san juan if you haven't already. Lovely trip!

My husband and I spent a total of 7 nights at this beautiful guesthouse. It was beyond what we had expected! In fact, we shortened our stay at another hotel in order to return to the Dreamcatcher. The two rooms we stayed in were The Bohemian and The Sanctuary. Both rooms are beautifully designed/decorated and offer peace and relaxation during your stay in Ocean Park. The Bohemian was pretty small — — but offered an elevated bed for under-the-bed luggage storage and in-room toilet/sink. The Sanctuary was MUCH larger and offered the in-room sink/toilet as well. Both rooms had a lovely outdoor shower with terrace/lounge space for a hammock. It felt private and relaxing showering beneath lush ferns, palms, and vines. The beds are extremely comfortable and the fresh linens were always extremely clean and soft. Housekeeping and facility maintenance does a marvelous job at keeping the grounds clean, lush, and smelling fresh. Every single person who works with the Dreamcatcher is friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. They do not treat you like a tourist! You feel at home and relaxed starting with the check-in process. We HIGHLY recommend doing some (or all! ) of the tours offered by the Dreamcatcher. We loved hanging out with Charles at Guilligan's Island snorkeling through mangroves, and Pablo in the Condado area lagoon paddleboarding and snorkeling through coral reefs!

The Dreamcatcher is in every single way the closest to paradise that you'll ever get. The place itself is serene, peaceful, positive and relaxing in every way, the rooms perfectly clean and kindly decorated with lots of love and taste, the food there is freshly prepared, uniquely chosen and truly delicious and the staff welcoming, warm and will go the extra mile for you to make your vacation one-of-a kind. All in all I had a marvelous stay here. I have nothing to add. I will come back again and again. Make sure you sign up and go to morning Yoga — watching the sun rise over the beach while doing stretches followed by a morning swim in the clear ocean is a unique experience you won't forget.

Great breakfast experience! They were so kind to anticipate my special request — no coconuts oil as I am not good at that. Quinoa dish was excellent as well as omelette and French toast:) very relax and nice deco place with great people. Def will visit again.

Stunningly beautiful, a New Yorker's dream. Sexy, romantic, fresh and steps to a gorgeous beach. The style and design is second to none.

San Juan’s only Vegetarian Guest House is located in the pristine neighborhood of Ocean Park, only 200 steps from the beach. From here it is a 10 minute walk to the highly touristic area of Condado and a short 10 minute ride to the Old City or the airport. The Dreamcatcher was awarded Top 10 International Bed&Breakfast and has been rated Guest House in San Juan for four years in a row.

Found this place on Air BnB. It went far above and beyond expectation. Very expensive (compered to Air BnB) but way nicer — — and way better than staying in a hotel too. Very comprehensive map provided, daily yoga, coffee, breakfast (for a charge but it is impressive), good location — close to many restaurants but far from old San Juan so the office will help you to get a taxi if needed.

I have a family property on the island and have been coming here all my Life. So its to be expected that when you stay in San Juan your going to have to deal with tourists and vacationers. While scouring the web for a hotel to spend the night we came across the Dream Catcher and decided to roll the dice. To our surprise we came across a little hidden gem nestled in the heart of Ocean Park. The moment you walk in and you see lush foliage and hear the sounds of the many tranquil water fountains, you know you've found something special. With its very professional and friendly staff to it's beautiful rooms with time period decor we fell in love almost immediately. Walking distance from the beach and Loiza, a very well known street here on the island for great food and entertainment, you will have plenty to explore. Its the little things that matter in life and The Dream Catcher does such a stellar job executing those little things that set it apart from any hotel or guest house I've had the pleasure of staying at. On another note, this is a very quiet and communal environment. Zen should come to mind. If your looking for a spring break type of feel I recommend anything on the Isla Verde strip. Strongly recommend for couples that want to have a private and personal experience. Also this is a vegan based Guest house, which in actuality was pretty refreshing. This was the escape I have been looking for. Beyond a guest house, Dream Catcher is a dreamy garden and relaxing haven around the corner from the beach. There outdoor showers throughout the property, including 3 kitchens, one of them outdoors with a hammock. You truly feel like you have walked into a Buddhist — hippie home with the lush colors, pictures and scents. Breakfast was prepared for me by the chef and was sublime. Definitely visiting again.

Gabe and I were last year at this PRECIOUS AND UNIQUE place in Puerto Rico! We could not choose better! The place is a… divinoooo, the decor is brutal. Silvia is a love also having a GREAT TALENT in interior decorating. The casita is a monad, it has 14 rooms, each one decorated in a different way and two common kitchens. The people was 'ideal' and very nice! All young couples very respectful. Silence in the house… something q comes to great to ponder! Offer toga free some days on the terrace, we loved it! Then, Darius is a love tamb! Kitchen exquisite, is a Vegan Chef… and deserves so much worth it to enjoy their breakfast more than a day! The area where this hotel is good, is protected, and next to the beach. In addition, county is an area with a lot of potential at the level of art and street expression and design! Recommend 100% to stay in this GREAT PLACE! Without a doubt, a trip that marked us the lives of two! Thanks Silvia, Dario and the rest of the companions that make the place is spotless and there is no other like it in the world!

The Dreamcatcher Guest House in Puerto Rico is by far one of the best around. It was my first experience at the Dreamcatcher Puerto Rico, and it won't be my last. The team at the Dreamcatcher was very delightful and extremely helpful throughout our stay. I wish I would of met the owner, her design style reminds me soo much of my very own. I loved everything about this place. All the rooms have a unique decor making your stay even more special. I, also, got some of the best nights of sleep I've ever had here. I will definitely stay here again and if you stay make sure to get the brunch their chef is awesome.

Perfect value. The place is nicely decorated. Cozy and delicate. But space is limited and breakfast is expensive.

This is the only way to spend a vacation in Puerto Rico. Do not waste your time/money at a resort, and if you are smart enough to stay in a B&B or something more local, I cannot recommend Dreamcatcher enough. Beatuiful, serene oasis. The staff is very attentive, friendly, and on-point with upkeep. There are yoga sessions, thai massages, and tea time in a hammock to be had, and amazing people to meet. We are definitely returning for another stay as soon as possible.

Dreamcatcher is an oasis in the quaint neighborhood of Ocean Park, located steps away from the crystal blue ocean it allows you to experience a zen atmosphere with foliage of fruit trees and planted trees surrounding the property. Sylvia has a vision that has transformed simple houses into simple decorative inviting pleasure of relaxation. Dario has brought forth an added element that every guesthouse should have, amazing organic freshly made dishes ranging from fresh fish with ginger basil sauce to quinoa salad with fresh local avocados. An experience for everyone to have.

Truly an amazing experience! I really cannot say enough good and honestly have nothing bad to say. The experience of staying at the Dreamcatcher house has left me refreshed, relaxed, and wholly inspired. My travelling companion and I could not stop discussing how much where we stayed had set the tone for our entire vacation. Staying with Sylvia, Meeshel, their pups, and the other guests was like staying with friends. I am already dreaming about the next time I will get to go back to the Dreamcatcher house.

This was such an unexpected adventure that I'm truly grateful for! When I arrived in San Juan, I got lost and a little stressed, but Sylvia calmed me down and helped me navigate back. She was an angel when I made it — a hug and a mug of tea ready. She is an amazing host and knows how to make you feel at home. Honestly, I felt more at home there than I do at my own home. I became friends with other guests and decided to extend my stay, which Sylvia was more than accommodating to. This is definitely the place you need to stay because it offers a peaceful sanctuary that is nice to start and end each day, and also offers yoga certain nights if guests wish to partake. The beach is right around the corner, and there are also nice shops and restaurants within several blocks. It's also a must because you need to meet Sylvia! I'm taking a note from her amazing interior decorating skills and hope I can bring some of that back into my place. This was my first visit to Puerto Rico, and having stayed here ensured it won't be the last.
