My wife and I just spent a week there and it was great. Dream Inn is very good: nothing fancy, very clean, and well located. The staff is super friendly and helpful. And the hotel is super close to the beach and you can borrow mats, beach chairs and umbrellas at the front desk! Restaurants around the hotel are good and reasonably priced. Moreover, the hotel is at short Uber distance from everything, Old San Juan, Santurce, Lote 23, and all the other cool places.

Great value. Perfect for setting up and exploring PR. New building, clean rooms and attentive staff. Much nicer in person than in pictures.

Quiet and peaceful. Close to various food restaurants at walking distance. Very relaxing.

Gem of a place. Close to everything, beach, fabulous restaurants and very safe. The rooftop is dreamy with breathtaking views and hammocks to relax. Rooms are extremely clean and well kept. I love it.

Dream Inn is the most nice and quaint boutique that we stayed in a month ago. The staff there are fabulous with all kinds of beach products, chairs, towels, suntan lotions and oils to borrow when you take a short block or two walk to the beach. Joey was ever so helpful upon our arrival and his greeting will not be forgotten! Nemo also went out of her way to make sure that all our needs were met, priceless! And Nelly also helped so very much! Thank you all, we want to return and would love to stay a little longer at a better price and we will.

The Dream Inn PR 2009 McCleary San Juan Puerto Rico is a most outstanding place to stay! We were supposed to stay at the Marriott but wanted to stay at a more traditional Puerto Rican abode. And we're glad we did. The Dream in is limited to 15 rooms that are modern and clean. The pool area is quite small but private making it almost exclusive to us. On the rooftop we found great views of the town while lounging in the hammocks provided after a day at the beach, dining and shopping. Which all were within walking distance of the hotel. Nemo, the owner, Joey and Nelly all went out of their way to see to our comfort. They supplied beach towels, chairs, coolers, suntan oils and lotions all free of charge to ensure our comfortability. They truly made us feel like guests in their home. This is one of the advantages of staying at a place like Dream Inn PR compared to staying at a big corporate hotel where one is treated with indifference. We highly recommend that if you visit San Juan Puerto Rico check with Dream Inn PR to see if you're lucky enough to be able to book a room at the Dream Inn PR, this place is one in a million. We are loving our stay here. They are so great to help us with our planning needs. Super comfy beds that we melt away into after our busy day. It is all so wonderful. Definitely recommend it.

Excellent hotel and beautiful theming of the common areas in Zen style. The staff is great, always courteous and ready to give you a hand. Nice rooms with everything you need. Only bad note the Wi-Fi really slow.

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel for the weekend for my birthday and it was absolutely terrific! From the moment we parked our car in the front Gautum greeted us and welcomed us in. He throughly explained where the places we should definitely visit and where are the places to eat. Conveniently the location of the hotel is walking distance to many bars, restaurants and even beach which was great. The hotel also provides beach mats, lounge chairs and coolers to borrow which was very helpful. Since it was my birthday, the hotel gave us a complimentary champagne bottle which we took to the rooftop and opened it up there. (Thank you Dream Inn PR! ) Overall the hotel is beautiful and has a very relaxing feeling to it with an amazing staff. I truly recommend this place for anyone that wants to try something different then the usually beach resort. Can't wait to plan my next trip with you guys!

We studied up on affordable hotels in San Juan for a while before booking our 1 night before our cruise at Dream Inn. The outstanding reviews on TripAdvisor were almost unbelievable but I can now affirm they are worthy. I booked through Expedia and had no troubles with the reservation. Location: We thought about staying in Old San Juan, which is where we wanted to to tour, but we were sketched out by the reviews and pictures of affordable.

Stuffs are great, they are very helpful. Rooftop is lovely. But the room itself is not that satisfying, felt not that clean.

The area was hit hard by the hurricane and it will take time for the neighborhood to recover. But the hotel is clean, staff is great, only blocks off the beach, and while parking is limited, there is some dedicated spaces. Price is good for a comfortable room. There is a mini fridge and TV in room. Only real downside is the street can get very noisy.

Cute little place couple blocks from the beach in the Ocean Park area. The room was nice and the inn is gated. They gave us coupons to Kasalta — a wonderful breakfast place nearby.

Nice place to crash for a night! Close to the beach and nice restaurants near! Small rooms, small pool, not very active, It's a nice clean place to sleep.

The staff from the hotel are awesome and have been great even with the current situation. They treat you like a member of their family. I'm very impressed!

Amazing innkeepers, wonderful intimate inn, immaculately kept, excellent central location with convenient access to restaurants, cruise terminal, airport, rental cars, the bus to Old San Juan, inexpensive shops in walking distance to buy sunscreen or whatever you forgot from home. Small but lovely pool, rooftop deck with hammocks, comfortable beds, A/C and fridge. Loaner towels, umbrellas, folding chairs and even mini coolers for your day at the beach, just a short walk away. The perfect location for independent travelers who appreciate a family-like stay with a kind and helpful staff. You might arrive as a guest, but you'll leave as a friend. Have stayed here a couple times and it will always be my first choice when visiting San Juan!

This hotel is amazing. The air conditioner is awesome and you have everything close. Restaurants, bars, pubs, walgreens, beach. I love it.

My boyfriend and I stayed here and we loved it. The hotel is small and cozy and very eco friendly. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We were staying at another hotel in old San Juan and after checking out, we called to verify if we could do an early check in on the Dream inn or at least drop our luggage and the owner let us come in at 12:30 so we could settle in. Once there, she explained to us about the restaurants in the area and the things to do around; some places even offer discounts for hotel guests. We ended up staying another additional day. The beach is maybe 3 minutes away walking. I would stay here again.

Excellent experience at DreamInn, we enjoyed our stay and the proximity to the beach. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit to PR.

Boutique hotel. Very comfy. Lots of dining options and beach within walking distance. Good choice and would stay again.

A little belated, but we just have to RAVE about this gorgeous inn. My bf and I stayed at the inn on our last night in PR (only because we were travelling throughout the entire island during our weeklong visit), and we have to say that was the cherry on top of our vacation. Nimu and Gautam are awesome! We also loved the eco-consious aspect of the hot water being powered by solar energy! If you ever visit San Juan, you have to stay here! You can even get a coupon for Barrachina, the restaurant that created the piña colada. So many good things about this place, you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to stay here on our next trip to PR!

I love this hotel. The staff has been absolutely wonderful the entire stay, and my room is clean and well-organized. There is parking on the premises, and my only frustration is that there is not a gym where I can work out. They do offer yoga classes, but I am here for work and the times do not fit my schedule, unfortunately. The breakfast vouchers have all been delicious! There are several wonderful restaurants steps away with great food!

I stayed at Dream Inn last summer while visiting a cousin in Puerto Rico, and when I return, I'm most definitely going to stay there again! The staff are such friendly and relaxed people, and the building itself is beautiful and very clean. Whenever I needed something, or had a question, they were very glad to help me. They provided many tips on how to get around, where to go, where to eat, and how to save on expenses while there! Dream Inn is just a couple streets away from one of the most beautiful beaches in the area, and they provide towels and other accessories for your day in the sun and sand! The owners are a wealth of knowledge, and the cleaning man, Ivan, was always great for a conversation! Within easy walking distance to several restaurants and stores, we never had to venture far to pick up a few essentials. The vouchers they provide for the Kasalta bakery nearby provided us with breakfast and a treat each day we were there! So generous! I truly fell in love with the island during my stay, and I would like to return as soon as I can. I know the staff at Dream Inn will greet me with a smile and be willing to help anytime!

My girlfriends and I visited PR and stayed at Dream Inn we had a wonderful time, and would definitely recommend it to anyone going. Dream Inn is the only place we would stay when any of us visit PR again. The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service to us. It was the right location, in close proximity to everything, very nice rooms, great ambiance, pool and lounge area very welcoming and relaxing. It was a wonderful experience especially with it being our first visit to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Thanks Staff @ Dream Inn.

This place is absolutely worth every penny! The staff here are amazing, courteous and super friendly. They truly bring such a peace and are wonderful ready to give us recommendations of places to visit. Definitely will come back here again. Thank you Namu and staff!

I got to Puerto Rico July 9th first time my husband visit my island prior to dream inn we stay some other place in isla Verde. Ooh no nothing compare with dream inn which is an excellent awesome place. Staff were so friendly personable and polite and the place so clean and comfortable. With out mentioned the Hindu decoration beautiful with this little rustic touch. And the roof terrace so well decorated.
With a nice view from where you can enjoy basically all San Juan. And specially in the night
Watching the moon n the starts it definitely give the place that romantic touch.
I will never gonna forget my 10 th anniversary

Dream Inn PR is nestled in a local area of San Juan. With easy access to the beach (3 minute walk) and plentiful restaurants just across the street. Booked this place at the last minute on the strength of reviews and a great value. I was throughly satisfied. Gotham welcomed us with open arms and a wealth of information. The rooms were cozy, we had Wi-Fi and the rooftop sundeck was a great way to de-stress from the day. On my next visit to PR I will be staying here again.

The Dream Inn has a wonderful feel to it — I loved the style and look of the place! The staff are all extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. If you need advice on anything, they are willing to help. Excellent customer service! The location is very close to the highway and there is free (albeit limited) parking in front of the building (if there is no spot, the owner is very willing to move their car for you — otherwise street parking is not hard to find nearby either). Plus free breakfast at the local bakery not even a minute's walk from the inn!

It doesn't get better than the Dream Inn! If you're staying in the San Juan area — — this is the place you need to be. Easy/fast access to Old San Juan and blocks away from the beach. Very clean, very friendly people, very accommodating, and an overall beautiful space. Free breakfast at a legendary deli/bakery across the street. They even loaned me sunglasses when I lost mine! 5 stars out of 5, no doubt.

Very clean, nice and new. The owner works the desk all the time and she was fantastic. Let us hang around for an hour so we wouldn't have to wait to get on the cruise ship and even then called us a Taxi. The ONLY negative was that the water is heated by solar power. Shower was quite cold in the morning! Still I give 5 stars for effort (and kindness! ).

Beautiful beautiful myself and my girlfriend stayed there in August 2015 and loved it from the room size, shower, distance to beach, and cleanliness was superb. Only discrepancy was the pool size and channels available on the TV lolz… Ps Sorry for leaving the keys on the chair we had to catch an earlier flight and the desk was shutdown…

Best hotel I have been to in a long time. If you are tired of cookie cutter hotels but want to have high quality service that makes you feel like you are being hosted at someone's home, you HAVE to go to Dream Inn. A place that is like no other in Puerto Rico. The family owners are attentive, thoughtful, sweet and pay great attention to detail. I swam on the ocean a few steps away from the hotel every morning and had breakfast at one of the best bakeries in the island. I highly recommend it.

Very nice Hotel and very central. You have restaurants, beach and clubs, two minutes away. The rooms very comfortable and clean. Best of all, the staff make you feel at home and help you in whatever you need, are those places that don't would you. Transmits a lot of peace of mind. 100% recommended. :).
