Fine place, affordable, great location, bad staircase if you get stuck on the top floor.

Big, comfy and inexpensive in a great Porto location. Huge terrace, room for at least 6 with one huge bedroom with a double bed and a futon, plus another with 4 bunk beds. Kitchen could use some better cooking utensils, but just go out to eat instead!

Super good care, bathrooms and clean rooms, well organized and have everything you need.

Great value for price. Quiet and clean.

Close to San Bento station and main attractions. Clean. Stylish. New plumbing. There is a kitchen, a terrace where you can drink wine, prepare tea or coffee, warm up food on a microwave. The towels were free (somewhere in the reviews I saw that for a fee, but we did not take it).
But there is no elevator and hard enough with things to climb to the fourth floor. And after a walk on the port of the legs buzz, and then still need to climb to a significant height. In the shower there are no shampoos and gels, there is only liquid soap at the wash-washer, which from the shower can not reach. Complete absence of any hooks or hangers. There is nowhere to hang clothes or towels. As for breakfast, he wants the best. Transparent leaf of ham and the same cheese. What is enough is bread…

Good, but very cold. With Heating-trouble.

Not so cool as it says. Education basics is not with the staff. You say good morning they doesnt answer you. Looks like high school but with you paying the price. One bedroom two people 4 nights 120€ and they even say you have to wash AND DRY your dishes. Make sure you dont come up here, if I could I would be on other place right away. Room is nice and cozy，really clean and convenient，all attractions within walking distance, staffs are nice and helpful.

Hostel muito bem localizado, com quartos organizados e staff simpática. Disponibilizam café dá manhã grátis, o que é um grande diferencial na área. O único problema são os banheiros, são muito poucos para a quantidade de pessoas que hospedam, ocasionando muita espera em horários de mais procura. Mas, estão sempre limpos e organizados. A estadia foi ótima, recomendo.

Rooms were clean and nice, but the stuff, especially cleaning lady makes everything worse! She was so antipathetic and rude! And also breakfast, what a disaster — one slice of cheese and ham and tost bread. What's more that cleaning lady makes breakfast and cleans rooms in the same time — awfull! Also the same lady while preparing breakfast about 7/8 am, makes such a noise that it's impossible to sleep. Because of that terrible woman — I would never come back there and I wouldnt recomand that place. And so many absurd rules like no eating and drinking alcohol in the room or washing clothes in the bathroom!

Habitación amplia y limpia. Baño compartido limpio. Colchón incómodo. No muy buena insonorización. Desayuno normal. Ubicación excelente.

It was an overnight stay, so not much to recommend.

Clean, good atmosphere, reasonable price and perfect location.

Cold at night. Better to ask for a blanket before the reception closed. But it's good to have breakfast.

A wieird mix of strict rules, no key to enter the hotel, violent behaviour. Terrible place to stay.

I felt ripped off; Resevamos a stay for 5 people and we were offered 1 double bed, a sofa bed and 2 bunk beds.
We assumed that two sleep in the bed marriage and the other three between the bunks and the sofa bed. Our surprise was that when opening one of the bunk beds there were no sheets and when going to ask us charged €10 arguing that as we were 5, they offered the sofa as a double bed…
We found it unfair because I don't understand that having a free bed and paying for the disponivilidad of the apartment 5 people force us to pay €10 for using a linen service.
When we demanded the invoice, they did not specify that they charged those €10 of Mas alleging that they really charged a service of 6 people to 5; So I reiterate I felt ripped off…

“Cool” Hostel Never in my life have I encountered a name more misleading than the one chosen by the owners of this establishment. This “hostel” is located in a house that is actually not that ugly, the floorboards in the long staircase especially are really rather something, and appreciating them is made easy by the fact that our “room” was in the third floor. All was going more or less smoothly until in the morning, I went to shower and there was no hot water, now the very fact that I am writing this negative – and please make no mistake, this review is VERY negative – would make one think that I am perhaps a stickler, but when I was unable to access hot water, I just showered in cold water. My other half though, was understandably not as happy about it, showering in cold water in Europe in November is ok if one is not in Europe and if it is not November. The long and the short of it is that we fought with the shower for ages until we went down again – weary of encountering the VERY sour-faced cleaner and Shrek in reception, but when we eventually reached the ground floor, they said that they had switched off the water (they knew we had been trying because I had asked them about it at the end of my ordeal-shower) on purpose. At this point I have to admit a mea culpa, as all the business with the showers delayed us by ten minutes, so ten minutes after midday we left feeling disappointed and dirty, on account of not having showered.
