Excellent location and service.

Good hotel but a bit removed from the center.

A standard within the Ibis hotels. Not impressed but since then they have all the necessary amenities, required clean and a good breakfast.

Just perfect! all. The sleep, the breakfast, the welcome, the room, the location next to the city centre of porto… PERFECT!

Very nice but a bit pricey.

The hotel is nice and clean. Half of the rooms have vista of the river and ocean, the other half has a view of the city. Staff is young and enthusiastic, however sometimes it is needed to ask an expert. What is the soup of the day which is on the menu? What is the dish of the day? The standard is a very nice Ibis, breakfast with local breads and sweet cakes, I would appreciate more vegetables. The location is kind of out of town, on the other side of the river, reachable by public transport 902, 903 from casa musica, stop Chas. Not reachable by foot within reasonable times or not crossing crazy speedways.

Don't have anything for people with celiac disease,

By giving a two months notice my wife is celiac and allergic to dairy, we were told that there was no problem and when we went they had not prepared anything. Is a scam, beware of those who have an intolerance.

Great bed, but the shower is to high and because of the highway next to the hotel, there's some bit of noise of the cars.

Spacious rooms which are cleaned every day. Moderate price tag, free Wi-Fi, good Breakfast. Close to shops and cafes, I especially recommend "Alchemy" — a great meat for cheap. Far from the subway, the only thing is, 15 minutes on foot. Great views of the city from the upper floors.

The hotel has a relationship quality price very good. All correct except that you hear a lot of cars passing by the highway.

Located in an easy-to-find place, the rooms was very confortable and the service was so nice.

Excellent view, 10 minutes from the metro to reach the Port. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and varied. The beds are large but a bit stiff.

The hotel is equipped with all the necessary facilities and services needed to carry out a Conference. Although it is not directly connected with the metro, it relatively easy to walk to. Wi-Fi is strong enough and rooms are definitely comfortable to sleep. The swimming pool has an additional price. Breakfast is the usual buffet with varied choices, yet the quality is a bit average.

I was at a conference there. It was all super. The lunch was tasty and plentiful. Snacks and Drinks were good. The toilets were clean.

This review proposed to evaluate the property of Holiday Inn Porto Gaia for holding business and academic conferences. The property has hosted many EU or international academic conferences for many years. As a conference venue, the property provides attendants lodging and dining services as well. Despite of experienced staffs and planners, the property lacks technology equipment and furniture to support the need of modern academic meeting. Equipments in the meeting rooms are particularly annoying, as small compact size projector and a netbook computer were put on a regular round table and there is no podium for speaker to stand. Many speakers first time here don't know this and they did not keep all things in their mind and they had to yield to the table to see some notes they left in the PPT slides. This badly impact the experience of audiences. Also, some specific studies is hard to remember every little details and the lack of podium computer adds extra burden for speakers. Additionally, there are two few power outlets in the meeting rooms and public areas.
