Great hotel with great views and an exceptional staff. The service is above and beyond and there is always time for you.
The facilities are also superb with several pools to choose from and and different bars and restaurants available.
The location in Calheta is nice for local beach going but is also a good starting point for hikes on the island. All in all a great hotel and sincerely recommended!

This hotel are beyond great. When the Madeira government lost my covid test, I was isolated for 3 days trying to sort it out. They were absolutely fantastic throughout and couldn’t do enough for us. They even gave us a fantastic rate and honoured our free room upgrade when we decided to extend our stay over the weekend :) Cannot recommend this hotel more!

A brilliant hotel in every way. The facility was designed by a local artist, it is all kept in the atmosphere of sugar cane — with attention to the smallest detail.
World-class service, tasty cuisine, designer suites with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful garden and private viewing terraces of the hotel, you can taste bananas straight from the numerous banana bushes. The Infinity Pool and all the others — perfectly integrated into the hotel's style.

I can not recommend this hotel enough! From start to finish we had an amazing break at a very exclusive hotel! The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and exceptionally helpful! The rooms are amazing and I would recommend a sea view! The view is spectacular and the premium experience was also worth it! We will be going back!

Stunning architecture and design! Beautiful location, very mysterious feel to it. It’s almost like a nature reserve, a Jurassic world, with incredible sea birds and critters. Stunning roof terrace and infinity pool! Staff are all fantastic, friendly and helpful! The food is first class, plenty of choice to! Great drinks and cocktails. Highly recommend for couples and romantic getaways / honeymoons! Thoroughly enjoyed and will highly recommend! The spa is also the best I’ve been to! 5* all round!

Beautiful hotel, very modern, comfy bed, excellent food. I did not have time to try out the leisure facilities or entertainment as was emergency accommodation for a delayed flight. Staff were very professional and attentive.

Best holiday experience. The staff were more than friendly and so helpful. They were also impeccable with English! Beautiful scenery everywhere. My only small fault was the shower floor was quite slippery.

Beautiful hotel. We only had lunch on top floor near pool area. Infinity pool looks luxurious and wish I brought my swimwear. Lunch was good although obviously more expensive than other restaurants on Madeira.

A super luxurious hotel located at the shores of Calheta, the staff does everything to make you feel at home and have a pleasant stay. The breakfast buffet is exceptionally great, much to choose from. The diner buffet is also very good with every day another theme. Infinity pool on the 8th floor, but if you like a bit more rest there is another pool on the 2nd floor which is only for 16+, so no kids around. They also have a Spa and fitness center.

The pictures don't do this hotel justice! Wonderful hotel in a quieter, but slightly posher part of the island. The pools are lovely with plenty of sunbeds available. Breakfast is also lovely and the free Wi-Fi actually works! Parking is 8 Euros a day and well worth paying for, as it's very secure and underground. Staff are also lovely and can't do enough to help you. True five star stay! The local Pingo Dolce supermarket is also well stocked and less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

100% recommendation for this outstanding hotel. The interior and location on the cliffs are absolutely unique and breathtaking, especially the entrance and of course the ridiculously beautiful infinity pool on the top. Staff is super friendly, perfect service from front desk to restaurants and bars. Food is amazing, rooms also. The harbor with a very fine italian restaurant and a supermarket with a pharmacy are 5mins walking distance. All in all a truly perfect vacation experience. The champagne surprise and upgrade to a junior suite for our late honeymoon were the cherry on the top. Obrigado por tudo, please don‘t change a thing! We‘ll be back!

Very nice, stylish hotel located directly on the sea. For lovers of sandy beaches rather less suitable, as the beach is rather small and inconspicuous at the 400 meters distant sister hotel. For this, the saccharum has a great infinitiy pool on the roof with enough sunbathing areas and bars. The spa area is also great, but is only worthwhile in bad weather (i. E. Quite rare). Day trips to Funchal or the Levadas to every corner of the island are possible without much effort. The food in the hotel is very tasty and varied with very friendly and courteous service staff who also like to take the time for 2-3 sets of small talk. If you are looking for more variety, there are several good restaurants to choose from within walking distance. Definitely a recommendation.

We had a great honeymoon in Savoy hotel, I would recommend it to everyone who like to have relaxing vacation. Hotel is surrounded by mountains, have a great spa and infinity pool. Breakfast is excellent as well, a lot of to choose — full English breakfast, salmon and even champagne. I would come again for sure! :)

Magnificent large rooms, great styled.
Breakfast excellent, rich offer and in the evening a varied buffet beckons. Particularly noteworthy is the patisserie offer! The rooftop bar is staffed by well-trained staff. Ideal for people who like to live in direct contact with nature, from here you can swim, sail or hike!

A really fantastic hotel with a clever layout, smelling well (who was there will know what I mean), we had a very spacious room and a bit we felt like we were in a James Bond movie — that's absolutely positive.
Why then only 4 stars!?
-The lady at the reception apparently had a bad day and absolutely patty and after minutes of (incomprehensible waiting) honored with your attention — is not possible!
— The parking situation is a joke (expensive and sometimes quite far back to the entrance)
— At dinner, the waiters rumble through the room with the cutlery trolley only in such a way that it feels like a canteen, but one of them is a nerve!
Tip: Continue the street at the hotel comes a small supermarket to stock up for daily needs (e. G. Water and fruit, etc. )

Chic hotel, which exceeds all expectations.
Only the staff at the pool has a slight weakness in the acoustic perception of the tip and likes to round up the tip in which it forgets to bring the plate with the change. Thus, the planned 15% then becomes 35%. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit the overall picture of the hotel, which is otherwise great.

Absolutely beautiful hotel set in a stunning location. The rooms are fantastic and the staff are first class. Everybody is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thou the resort is on the quieter side if you want more action you need to go to funchal. Overall thou 5 stars from us …

Very nice, architecturally successful hotel. Super breakfast, dinner not always hot, but great choice. Staff very nice, partly German-speaking. Top Wi-Fi, stretches from one hotel almost to the next along the marina. Prices as in other hotels of this category. Definitely recommended. The weather in Calheta also seems to be better than in Funchal.

Staying in a suite with a kitchen quote. But certainly not a place to cook anything other than coffee. Only the minibar fridge, no frying pan or toaster, small microwave, so don't plan on cooking. Very modern but… Bathroom open and part of bedroom so if you are an early riser and partner sleeps in, no joy, not even a door to close… No coffee table by the sofa and no end tables, so can't put your wine or coffee down? And only 3 small drawers for two people? No desk drawer? No drawer in beside tables, no where to put anything! Also not well laid out, up one elevator, then long walk then different elevator to pool? Clean, nice breakfast, must take taxi to town. Some restaurants close by… Have stayed in many much superior places.

The best hotel / SPA in Madeira! Great amenities, design, location, and the staff is always kind and professional. I recommend the swimming pools, the SPA and the food.

The new hotel complex is spread over 8 floors and is very individually designed.
The decoration of the house is reminiscent of the old sugar cane factory, which once stood at this place.

Very smart for good price. We stayed at the start of the season and quiet so plenty of room. Great breakfasts. Good pools and areas to take the sun.

Exceptional hotel, a staff with small care, a privileged site. If you like the calm, the good food, the access to the hikes and the sun… even in January, this is the privileged site.

We had an exceptional stay in this beautiful Palace. Here everything is done for the customer and for his well-being. A picture of the gigantic Spa. Swimming pool Sauna Hammam sensory shower, aromatherapy rest room. The staff are in the small care. Our room was beautiful always in the Zen style as the hotel and with the sea view.
Thanks again to the receptionist who sent us an airport shuttle after midnight while our flight was late.

Lovely contemporary hotel with great service the only improvement that can be made is for a 5* hotel there should be someone to help carry bags to the room when checking in and out. Apart from that it is amazing!

Amazing place. Best looking hotel ever been… Stunning views… Good food. Very friendly, helpful staff. Very clean (chambermaids doing so great job). Bar prices are reasonable… Pleasant entertainments. So overall I don't have anything to say against… Or maybe only one thing, €6 a day for car park while you can park on a road in front of hotel FOC — bit to pricy. But anyway you have a choice. Definitely I'll be back one day.

Very nice hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Daring design of the rooms that works. Breakfast is good, dinner and the fine-dining restaurant not so much (We loved Beira Mar for dinner. ). Internet speed is not too bad. Have a car to get around, everything in the hotel is expensive!

Please be aware that some of the sea view rooms look right onto the street. This is not what I expected when I booked the room. Luckily the staff were kind enough to relocate us to a better room. I liked the clean, modern design of the hotel and we received very friendly service.

Nice hotel, kind staff. SPA — saunas — for charge, but there are also outside and inside swimming pools which are in the room price. Infinity pool on 8th floor is amazing. Hotel enterior is darker which gives a special secret atmosphere. Layout of the rooms could be unusual and inconvenient for some guest who insist to their privacy even in front of their partner, as there is open shower and toilet is separated only with glass wall. We have liked it.

Super spot for a quiet retreat by the ocean. Service, acomodation, sun, sea, nature. You may want to explore the island by car, game fishing, or even the museum Casa das Mudas, but if you have less than 4 days here, do not bother. Just enjoy the hotel, and spoil yourself with the SPA, dolce farniente and a dive in the ocean. Boost your karma!

A very expensive hotel, the service is not ok. You have to pay extra for every normal thing. Room service will cost you extra every single time. Transfers are very expensive, which you have to use because you're practically in the middle of nowhere.

Beautiful. We stayed for our honeymoon and we had an ocean view. The hotel was gorgeous, the staff was so friendly, and the view was stunning. We didn't want to leave and would return in a heartbeat!

We really had a great stay here. The hotel is super located for exploring the island. From the airport it is here 45 minutes, so also pretty much to the east of the island. In the west it is more 30-40 minutes. Also a north-south connection is quite close to the hotel. So you can really get anywhere with the car.
The rooms are large and modern, the beds super cozy and large. The showers and the toilet are quite openly integrated into the room and separated only by milk glass. We had a room with side-ocean view and still fantastic view. The roof terrace with its many loungers and an infinity pool are simply brilliant, as is the bar on the roof terrace.
Breakfast offered everything you could need and was delicious. Otherwise we ate only once in the bar on the roof terrace. There's a "snack" in LT's own statement. We then had burgers and a toast that was more than enough.
In the vicinity of the hotel there is a supermarket, beaches and also other good restaurants and a nice promenade.
Generally absolutely recommended.

Stayed here for one week with three friends and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The entire facility is brand new. The rooms were comfortable, modern and clean. Nice view from the different swimming pools. We took several day trips around the island including a nature walk, saw a live music performance in one of the villages, toured the capital and Madeira winery, and of course a wild ride on the sleds which was a bit touristy but lots of fun. Met many nice locals, even the taxi drivers were very friendly. Highly recommended.

The hotel itself is new and absolutely beautiful, but the service and food lag behind… Unfortunate because the place itself could be 5 stars.

The hotel is very large but the rooms are great. The swimming pool area on the rooftop with beautiful views, you can see the sunset. Pity that the spa can be so expensive and make you pay for the parking, otherwise great. Staff friendly and nice.

Well-designed (albeit very large) hotel. Unfortunately it's a case of style over substance as the service, staff and food was absolutely dreadful. My friend and I were ill from eating the al la carte (rather than buffet) food which the hotel refused to accept, or apologise for. We were told it was our fault for eating the food and not sending it back to the kitchen! Would not recommend to anyone other than perhaps package tourists looking for a relatively cheap holiday. Also worth noting that the rooms on the 'inside/courtyard' side of the hotel are extremely dark and gloomy.

Fantastic location, sea at your door step, calm and relax village, great facilities and the stuff always looking after you. Recommended.

Hotel clean and well located. The room was very good and clean. Staff in general friendly and very responsive. However, being in formula All Exclusive, we found that there was very little choice on the food… the alcohol very limits. Meals very repetitive. Recommend breakfast only, which is very complete. A lot of supplement… cleaning of pool towels. Transat beach… safe room…

Reception staff very friendly, also the staff at the reception was very friendly. Service left a lot to desire. Food was very monotonous. There was a lack of fresh fruit (bananas and Apples). Common drinks (Poncha, etc. ) was not offered, the to was Bar, the pool Bar, which was open in the evening, there were only non-alcoholic mixed drinks. All the drink cups were in the evening in plastic. On request fresh fruit, we were directed to the supermarket, but we had all inclusive. The room was very clean and pleasant. It was cleaned daily and towels changed.

What about very quaint and cute especially the indoor pool.

Enjoyable experience except our views of the sea were not very good from our room. Good food, exceptional quality and friendly helpful staff — a great hotel to stay in in Madeira with entertainment most nights. Very interesting island — we hired a car and found it easy to get around because of the numerous tunnels through the volcanic rock paid for by the European Community fund — the EU does have some good points!

THE actual Island is so beautiful and very green with banana trees growing allover. Hotel not bad, could've been better tho. Needs a massive revamp, and the menu needs a complete overhaul! Hidden extras everywhere — suppost to be ALL INCLUSIVE! Would definitely recommend visiting Maderia, button not the hotel! BEEN TO MUCH BETTER ALL INCLUSIVE HOLIDAYS BY FAR!

An amazing hotel and resort in a beautiful location with amazing views, stayed 3-10 June 2016 Hotel was spotless and the staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, couldn't fault them Only one small criticism although the food was plentiful and varied the hot plates were never warm enough. Being someone that likes their food hot it was disappointing to have luke warm meals! However with that said the cold dishes were excellent with lovely fruit and desert courses so was happy to stay with meat and salads 99/100
