I stayed here for 2 nights with my family and loved the hotel. Great breakfast buffet, really helpful staff and loved the hotel balcony. They organised yoga for us which was amazing! Great location and very friendly nice staff.

Friendly staff, extremely accommodating. Beautiful courtyard, and the upstairs rooms have sweeping views of the hills.

Clean environment, and friendly staff. Unfortunately there is no elevator, it could be uncomfortable as the stairs are many and quite steep. There's no private village. Convenient location, a short walk from the station.

Very nice location to spend in your vacation if you want to visit Sintra and all nearest location.

Discreet to be a villa hotel. Cozy and central, with good breakfast. The worst, the noise of the guests talking at 2 am, not having places reserved to park and the endless stairs to raise the suitcases.

The rooms are small but very cozy and the most important thing is very clean.
For a small hotel the breakfast is very good.

We loved staying at this place. The owner and staff were super friendly, helpful and welcoming. We couldn't have felt more at home! Our room was bright, clean and offered a spectacular view of the Castelo dos Mouros. Also the location is great, just a 5 minutes walk from the railway/bus station that takes you to all the castles and other sights in the Sintra mountains.

This is a great little hotel in a handy location in Sintra just a couple of mins from the train station. Main tourist destinations are only a short stroll away as well as handy bus links. Really well kept and can really feel the love and attention put into the place. Has an amazing terrace area with views of the castle up on the hill. A great spot to end the day with a drink or two. Rooms are spacious, clean with comfortable enough beds and pillows. Breakfast is also quite good with a wide selection so everyone should be covered. Last but not least the service of the place is fantastic. Rui does an incredible job to go out of his way to help and to make you feel welcome. Thanks Rui.

Very good location, really nice staff with exemplary clean rooms with a view over the Moorish castle. Don't miss the chance to stay here for at least one night.

One of the best hotels I have visited and I travel quite often. What I want to pay attention to is the service. The staff always goes to your meeting and helps to cope with any surprises. If I ever go to Sintra again, I'll stop here.

Just back from spending 3nts in this lovely little hotel, the staff are very welcoming and helpful always have a word with you, breakfast is very good, cooked food, lots of diff breads, cereals, yogurts, fruit… light and airy rooms, lovely large terrace outside with tables and chairs. The bed room we had was lovely and clean, with linen change everyday… very easy to get around from this hotel, just up the road from the Train Station and a few bars/cafes… could not fault it.

Amazing place. Hotel is beautiful and clean. Room was grey and had a private balcony. The terrace is amazing and has a beautiful view of the Moorish Castle. Staff go above and beyond for you. Location was perfect for us also.

Great hospitality of Hotel Staff, everybody od very helpful and kind. Hotel has a very good location close to train station and just few minutes of walking to Sintra's center. Rooms are cosy and nice. I highly recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for stay in Sintra.

We have traveled to many countries and throughout the U. S. Hotel Nova Sintra helped to make Sintra, Portugal our favorite location ever. The owner of the property is the third generation as the hotel was previously owned by his grandfather and father. The staff feels so much like family, I had to ask if they were related. I have never found another hotel that was so concerned with the comfort and happiness of the guests. It feels more like staying in a bed and breakfast than a hotel. The owner and staff are eager to help with anything you may need from retaurant suggestions, touring options, airport transfers, and more. They have a wonderful breakfast each morning that includes fresh squeezed juice, breads, eggs, sausage, fruits, yogurts, teas, coffees, marmalade, jam, water, cookies, and beans. The dining area is beautifully set with cloth tablecloths, napkins, real flatware, and dishes. Best of all, the location is perfect! It is just next to the historic district, train station, bus station, shops, and restaurants so you can walk to everything! The rooms are lovely and the bedding is excellent. There is a lovely, very large terrace well appointed with furniture and plants to enjoy views of the Moorish castle. I can not imagine a more perfect place to spend a vacation or honeymoon. We will tell everyone we know about our perfect experience at the Hotel Nova Sintra!

I spent 7 nights at this hotel. The manager and other staff are really helpful, welcoming and reasonable. I've enjoyed everything — the location, the breakfast, the rooms, the cleanliness, personality of the staff and I would definitely recommend the hotel to everyone. The next time I'm in Sintra, I'll book the Nova Sintra hotel!

An absolutely FANTASTIC stay. The hotel manager is one of the kindest people we've encountered in our travels. We came with my family to celebrate my 40th birthday, and drove all around Portugal… this hotel, by far, has been the best experience… ample and comfortable room, excellent quality breakfast, amazing location, all amenities you could need… and again, the hotel manager was exceedingly helpful, kind, and happy to go beyond call of duty to answer any questions. I highly, very highly, recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of coming to Portugal… the city of Sintra itself is stunning, with some breathtaking sights.

Stayed there for 3 nights Nov. 7-9, 2016. It is located within a 5 min walk from the train station. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to help us during our stay. It felt very cozy and relaxing. Would highly recommend it. B'fast was included and was better than most hotel b'fasts I've had.

Hotel Nova Sintra is a great choice for your stay in Sintra. It's well located within the city, with easy access to the train station and a 10-minute walk from the city centre. The staff — two gentleman we crossed — were very nice, communicative and made us feel at home. The hotel is very comfortable. The rooms are big and are well equipped for the type of hotel it is. The breakfast is very good for two stars, comparable to many others I've seen at three star hotels. A definite choice when I return to Sintra.

Vila Nova Sintra is friendly and well placed for Sintra old and new town, affordable, and the terrace is a wonderful place to drink something looked to the Moorish palace.
