We booked a room. When we called before arrival, it was said that there would no be a room free and it was simply laid up?! Would then have to look for a new accommodation at short notice!

Very nice hotel but more like a home. Friendly staff and tasty breakfasts.

Perfect for a short stay in Lisbon. Good location close to stores, restaurants, squares… Very, very cheap! Four nights with breakfast €140 for two. Awesome! Of course you will find yourself lacking many commodities like a private bathroom, new daily towels, proper doors, blinds, cleaning services… Fantastic stay after all. If you're on a tight budget it will give you room to experience the unbelievable food of the city, jazz clubs, life fados, upscale wines and all the fabulous things this city has to offer. What a memorable holiday!

A very pleasant place to stay, very well located, close to the underground. The staff are very helpful and welcoming and share good advice to visit the city.

The rooms have been nicely renovated and the cleaning service is really good. However, we didn't have any window in our room, only through an indoor window to the bathroom and the general service wasn't very good.

Warning! This hotel charges your VISA card, although the stay has already been paid for. In any case, check their credit card statement, be careful with your credit card.

No service or so ever. Rooms where not clean, found bugs in the bed and floor. They didn’t clean the rooms for the nights that we stayed. We had to wait 2 hours for checking in the day of our arrival. Not recommended at all, there are better places to stay in Lisbon.

When we arrived at 17:00 there was no one to check us in, we had to wait 1h, even though it says checking in time is between 15:00-19:00 Second day simply there was no breakfast even though it’s included in our stay. No one cleaned the room. No one is available when you need help. Very bad and unprofessional service. I do not recommend this guest house.

We had a great stay. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the rooms are very clean and the breakfast is awesome. You can reach the train and the city in only a few minutes. We would love to come back, thank you very much for everything!

I enjoyed my stay here. It has a very convenient location. Close to the Avenue Liberdade, and to the Metro station of Marquis Pombal. The room I stayed in was super nice and comfy. The entrance to the property is not easy to spot, but it right at the intersection. If you see a glass door with a guard, that's the right place.

Very well everything: super clean, nice. Very good kitchen facilities with everything you need. The room is small and somewhat expensive, but Lisbon is not a cheap place either. Besides, Lisbon is a gem of a city. Excellent visit. Thank you.

Castilho is a shared kitchen house. It's very clean. It is located on the 1st floor on a busy road. If you have light sleep put the caps. The kitchen is shared, large and you have the opportunity to cook. Convenient at the subway station. The staff were very friendly.

It was wonderful to stay at this property. The room was clean and quite. The shared kitchen is very well equipped. I recommend!

The breakfasts are plentiful and very good quality and the staff is very helpful.
But, the rooms are very humid and the non-existent soundproofing will make you live with your neighbors permanently.
I advise against those who want to rest because the very many works in the neighborhood (for a good part of 2017) are very noisy and will come to wake you from 7.30 am to finish only late at night (11 pm on average during the week we spent there)
This establishment, located in the heart of the Lisbon business district, is more aimed at people who are doing business for their businesses than tourists looking for a moment of calm and rest.

Stayed here with my husband and young son in a triple room. Exceptionally clean, and room very spacious and tastefully decorated. Excellent Guest House. All staff were really friendly and very helpful. Large kitchen was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to a friend. Thank you for our enjoyable stay.

Among the hostels and hotels of all life there is a new concept, the homely hotel. To the comforts of a hotel it is added the attention of the one who takes it. The breakfast is excellent and the rooms are very nice. That's right, pray for the elevator to work, which is on a 5th floor. Just a small detail, maybe someone does not like the bathroom has no door …
