Fabio, Renata, Will and all the staff are so genuinely positive and helpful. Met great people, great value dinner every night with bottomless drinks. Beds and dorms are clean and comfortable. Slightly understaffed, but they work so hard they keep you happy. Highly reccomend.

I forgot to write a detailed review on hostelworld so I am doing t here — best hostel I’ve ever stayed at; rooms are clean, beds are comfy, shower facilities are amazing, they have large efficient lockers for each assigned bed, wonderful breakfast, 10€ dinners for 3 courses and unlimited sangria for two hours, amazing pub crawls, really informative tours and the staff here are some of the nicest, most welcoming and excitable people I’ve ever met in my life! If you go to Lisbon or Porto, make sure you stay at Yes! Hostel (they even posted a bag I left at the hostel with all my glasses and contacts in it to another hostel of mine in France and only charged me the small shipping costs and with no complaints! )

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, delicious and conveniant food. Really recommendable.

The nicest staff, super clean (all the linen was already in place and smelled like clean fresh laundry — unlike some places where you have to do that yourself in a "dorm" setting, bathrooms were spotless). Good security with lockable boxes, it's very centrally located (a 5 min walk from great water views and plazas) a brisk 10-15min walk from the party area of town and metros. This is a hostel designed for travellers by experienced travellers.

My very first time in a hostel, and while I am not fan of sharing room as I am a light sleeper, I can recommend this place as the staff is amazing, the rooms and washrooms are very clean and the tours that they organize are great, (also the food is really nice). Thanks for everything guys!

Great hostel. But be wary of signing up for the bus travel/tour operators offered at the main desk as they might not follow through. I signed up for a bus to Lagos and they didn't show up and didn't answer their phone at departure time. Time wasted waiting around for them and then re-arranging my plans.

Honestly one of the best places Ive ever stayed in the world. I travel heaps and also work in the service industry and the manner of the staff, the vibe and facilities of the place and even the food for breakfast and dinner is outstanding. The staff are just total legends and were always so friendly, no matter who was working.

BEST PLACE IVE EVER STAYED AT! The 10 euro dinner was the funnest night of my life. It's a 4 course dinner with open bar for 2 hours, and we got a welcome shot right when we walked in. The staff is super chill, they offer an amazing walking tour (be ready for some steep hills), and a trip to Sintra (most beautiful place ever). I will be going back JUST to stay at that hostel. Very clean and relaxed atmosphere.

In a point of view of a solo-traveler staying in a mixed dormitory. very high level of rooms, very clean, the price per night is pretty cheap. The staff is amazing! super nice and friendly, they will help in everything you need with a huge smile. The hostel is very social, a big meal is served every night, and they do their own trips to Cascais & Sintra — very recommended. Price increase without prior notice after booking. Unreliable.

After having booked for months, I raise the rate without notice when I arrive. I don't recommend it to anyone!

SCAM! Three months after I booked, they contact me in order to say that they had an error with the rates and that my booking was DOUBLE the price. What actually happened was that they realized that there was an special event (Eurovision) those dated and they wanted to have an extra revenue. The biggest scam I ever had in my life.

First choice for a hostel in Lisbon in my opinion. It's easy to feel comfortable: clean rooms, many activities, very friendly staff, very generous dinner and open bar. Also top location to get anywhere.

Best hostel! Clean, Fun, and Affordable. I loved the well-cooked hostel dinners, every night pub-crawls, €2 amazing breakfast, and 11:00 pm free shot! Guaranteed positive stay if you stay here. Also it is close to everything and to blocks away from the water. Trust me, just book it! Also, thanks to the Hostel Staff, you made my Lisbon experience memorable!

Definitely the best hostel ever seen. Very clean and it's important when you live in community.
Perfectly located.

This hostel is pretty amazing. The accommodations, location and staff are all incredible. It's also probably the most affordable option you'll find. My only complaint and word of forewarning is that the crowd is very college-party oriented. That being said, a lot of recommendations we got were just touristy replicas of western sports bars. If that's your scene and you're looking to turn up until 6am, then hell yeah this place is rad. If you're looking for a more subtle, local experience, you'll have to do some searching on your own and use this hostel as an awesome, cheap crash pad for the night.

The worst possible experience in a hostel that gave me an admission to the emergency room of the Sao José Hospital. I was attacked by bed fleas. My other two roommates too (CBR 44).
The crisis took time to be settled. The person changed US room and sent people to sleep in the infested beds. I warned those people I crossed. But the next day I found other people sleeping from the infested mattresses. Hyper weird as hygiene precautions. Business first What.
The stings are such that I had to get perfused. The doctor hallucinated seeing my arms, my back, my ankles.
I have horrible scars and I start thinking of a lawsuit against the institution. Appointment with an expert!
The manager sent me hallucinatory e-mails of blackmail, he made believe in the central reservation hostelworld that he had made incredible trade gestures towards me and seeks to silence me. Like what, he hides funny mentality behind a smile… Dismal.

I have spent three nights there. The experience was amazing, the staff speak many languages (English, French, Porteguese, Spanish…)
Here are the great things about this hostel:
1 — Cleen!
2 — Very welcoming staff, always with a smile
3 — PubCrawl
4 — Vegetarian option for food (comes handy if you're a Mus or a Jew haha)
5 — Near the beach
6 — It is also near to touristic monuments and night clubs
7 — Amazing showers
8 — Great balcony on the third floor
I have only one drawback, not a big one though.
There is no air circulation in the rooms, which make them a little smelly in the morning.
The experience was real good and fun. I recommend.

Very comfortable place. Great beds, feather. Good service and most importantly, the doors do not close at any particular time. What time did you come to sleep? Some hostels close doors in 23:00 and if you are late, you will not enter ( (Bet 10/5. Really worth to come here!

Good breakfast, helpful staff. Room's were nice and the hotel had a good amount of activities.

Not so much fan of hostels, but due to bad planning (couldn't extend the room I stayed in), I went to this place because it was a 4 minute walk and was rated with a 9, 2 on booking. When you step through the door you notice it's the staff that makes this place so nice :) Thanks y'all for a nice stay.

Great location and within walking distance of most of the best sights. Good clean rooms with clean shower and toilet facilities.

Such an amazing hostel, possibly the best I stayed at during my entire 4 month trip in Europe. The entire team was so accommodating and made the entire stay fantastic, but props to Goncarlo "G" for going above and beyond. Amazing showers, tours, food, commons, dorms, location and staff. Don't look any where else.

Placement in the middle of the city perfect, rooms, toilets and showers clean. Opportunities to meet people from many different countries to try if one is several.

Great place, centrally located. 15-20 minutes walk from the train, metro and the ferry. If you want to explore Lisbon, this is the most ideal place to stay. Very economical breakfast and awesome dinner deals.

Best Hostel ever! It's located in a great area, only yards away from the heart of Lisbon. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The Hostel provides great tours, pubcrawls and surfing trips every day. Clean facilities. Great atmosphere! Great prices! Great place.

10/10 the best hostel I've stay in, in all of europe. The staff are fantastic, the food was good, the alcohol was flowing. The 9pm dinners were so communal, an for only 10 euro, 100% worth it to meet some fantastic fellow travellers.

This hostel exceeded all expectations. He's just perfect! Located in the center. One minute from the square of Commerce. Go out and be the center of all life. Everywhere clean and tidy. Beds with curtains, outlet and lamp, a bathroom with shower. Large, spacious and comfortable common areas. Extra charge dinner, which will be held in a very friendly and fun environment. Good Breakfast. One of the best hostels I've been. By the way, these hostels is Madrid and Barcelona. There are also at a very high level. Not enough bedside shelves. The water in the shower was difficult to set up. Was either hot or cold. But all this stuff.

Best hostel I've stayed in for a long time! Was there 5 nights. Staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. The location is right in the heart of the city but in a quiet area. Loved the activities! Every night there is a delicious 3 course dinner with an open bar and optional pub crawl afterwards. This is great to get to know other fellow travelers. Also the city tours and Sintra Tour were excellent! If you would have to chose to stay in only one hostel in Portugal, make it this one.

Very friendly employees! The dinner is definitely worth the 10 euros. I was in the double private room (51), and it was very spacious with a lovely skylight. It could be a bit loud at times, but it is to be expected in any hostel.

Best hostel I've stayed at in Europe! Amazing staff. Big shout out to Fabio, Pedro, Catarina, Mariana, and everyone else (I know I'm missing a few names)! Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend the pub crawls if you want to experience the nightlife. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lisbon!

I go up to my shared room and I find a room clean, tidy and with individual lockers under the beds (carry padlock). I'm going to take a shower and confirm that absolutely everything is clean.
I am informed that they serve dinner with free bar for a small fee, I sign up, and this marks a before and after on my trip. I know many people and I travel alone to be accompanied all my stay; I taste Portuguese food cooked by the Simpátiquísima cook of the hostel; I know the march Lisbon the hand of the staff …
I also have the offer to make tours around the city and surroundings, highly recommended.
And this every day, starting with a varied and terrific breakfast.
In short, I can't say anything negative. Just say thank you and promise that I will recommend you whenever you can.

Wonderful atmosphere and a great community feel. Great for solo travellers or groups — look no further for accommodation in Lisbon.

The attention is amazing, the staff is too cheerful! all very clean and cheap. The pub crawl takes you to great bars, where some are not so expensive! In addition, the free walking tour of Ana is very nice, just like her! Definitely 100% recommended.

We was for the first time in the Lisbon on the Web summit 2016 and decided to stay at the hostel. What can I say — this is one of the best hostels in the world! Excellent staff, cool atmosphere, great crowd. I advise everyone!

The best place to stay at when in Lisboa! Location is just perfect, connectivity is great and the hostel is a gem! The staff is the most liveliest bunch I've ever come across. They really know how to turn their guests into friends!

I would love to put a 5 score ta that both the staff and the facilities are very well…
But our arrival was not so triumphant: we were 9 friends that had booked a room of 5 and the other 4. The surprise was to arrive because the room of 4 we didn't have it. The hostel was full and the surrounding area. The solution that we were offered did not seem to me the most appropriate (sleep 1 in the ground and the rest two in each bed) in place of find a hotel and pay the difference. This solution does not seemed to us very successful, and two people had to stay at another hotel much more expensive. Honestly, it was a shame because the rest of the stay, and the treatment of Gonzalo and the manager with the dreadlocks (sorry I don't remember his name) were exceptional.

Best hostel ever. We stayed in 3 hostels in Lisbon and this one is unbeatable. Air conditioning. Super nice staff. Best Location. Super Beds. Everything was clean. Really nice spacious industrial kitchen for efficient cooking. Good Breakfast for the price. Hair dryer in the bathroom. Freshly squeezed osaft for 1.50 Euro.

Stayed here for a few days near Christmas. The staff were great, gave me shot of local booze when I arrived, greeted me by name whenever I came in and were chatty and helpful. The rooms were clean, tidy and comfy and the bar downstairs had cheap drinks and plenty of space to relax. The hostel offered three course meals which were home cooked, and also ran trips out led by their staff who showed us local tourist attractions and pointed us where to go. Great hostel and would love to stay there again!

Yes! Hostel Lisbon is one of the very best hostels I have stayed at in the world. It is very comfortable and spotlessly clean, the social areas are great and the bar is cheap! The best thing about the hostel is the €10 dinner every night, including four courses and unlimited drinks. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the location is great too. It is difficult to fault this place, I would absolutely recommend it and would love to stay again!
