It was a very nice hotel and it was very close to the train station.

For under €50 per night, it goes. A very good location so.

It's very dark, boy, with broken furniture. The elevator goes from the first floor but you have to climb at least 2 floors with suitcases. The Wi-Fi connection is lousy. The staff is very very friendly. That's the only thing worth.

Excellent location in central Lisbon. Rooms are large a, well appointed and very clean.

The room was very small, the lighting in the room was a joke and the breakfast was not very good. For a short city break, however, it is sufficient.

Middle class Hotel. 2 floors to climb without elevator.
Our room looked out on the street, not too noisy at night but very poorly lit, glaucous Lights. (rooms probably unrenovated)

But the bedspreads and cushions look dirty: dubious tasks. The rest seemed Clean. Except that I caught pests of scabies in this hotel! (probably these famous bedspreads, cushions or blankets — no duvet "washable" to each customer)
of course, during a short stay, it is especially important to Return. So I informed the hotel and asked for a commercial gesture: no return of mail, no excuse!

Clean and very well located. Close to the Martím Moniz Metro and the Alfama district.

Amazing location, beautiful view from the window — they have balcony! Lots of space in the room.

B&b/very comfortable Guesthouse. In a tactical position to drive around the city without problems and close to the Metro for stations and Airports. The staff was very helpful Recommended!

Hotel-pension useful for those who do not have many claims, however valid for the service, for the price and the central location that allows you to easily reach everything that is interesting and to visit in Lisbon and Around. It is fairly well reached by public transport. Some problem for the first ramp to access the reception, with bulky luggage.

Good value great Central location (Though somewhat edgy! ) nice breakfast included. NOT SUITABLE FOR DISABLED! Friendly helpful staff. Great places to visit are the Sealife Centre, (AMAZING AND CHEAP) beaches at Estoril and the beautiful Cascais the fabulous Museu de Marinha local to here are wonderful architecture and sights. Get your 1, 2, 3, or 5 day Lisboa public transport pass costS "peanuts" and allows UNLIMITED travel on buses, metro, trams And local trains.

This a small hotel within walking distance of many tourist sights within Lisbon. The rooms are basic but clean, tidy and well maintained. The staff are very helpful and efficient.

It is a beautiful hotel, a little antique décor but that gives you the charm! The elevator is on the first floor, so you have to go up the stairs with your suitcases. But it's worth staying there, first class service!

A modest old town hotel with a superb location. You can easily reach from the airport by metro, for it takes only a few minutes' walking from the Rossio metro station. Hotel seemed a bit worn and tired at first glance but our room was comfortable enough with an effective air conditioner, TV set, safe and a bed with clean sheets. Breakfast was average and served in a tiny room that one may find it frustrating, it was OK for us, though. Hotel is also close to Rossio train station from where you can easily travel to Sintra. Praça do Rossio, Praça da Figueira, lively Rua Augusta and many touristic attraction sites and fancy restaurants are all within short walking distance. I think Grande Pensao Alcobia is a good choice to explore Lisbon and its environment.

Very clean, friendly, helping to navigate in unfamiliar situations staff, including Russian speaking. Breakfast was good. Very convenient location and good transport links.
The minus is very noisy due to the construction work being carried out in the nearby buildings, both during daytime and at night time. The courtyard leaves much to be desired.

Hello we were at in the beginning of January 2015 year. Rooms are small, tiny, private toilet very cold. The only good hotel is its geographical location.

I am on the fence about this hotel. I think had we not stayed on the 2nd floor (1st floor of rooms) I may have liked it better. And if the heater had worked better in our room I may have been more excited about this place. It just happened to be our heater that was weak, and they were at full occupancy while we were there so we did not change rooms. The location is extremely convenient. A very short walk to the Rossio metro. Several bus and trolley stops all within a very short walk. Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. I found the staff to be nice and helpful. There is not an elevator for the 1st 2 floors. If you travel with a lot and/or heavy luggage you will need to carry up 2 flights of steps. Breakfast was included, basic but quite a few choices of breads, cereals, cheeses, meats, yogurt, coffee and tea. The rooms are very minimal. Good size room and bathrooms. The beds are old and worn, same with the bath towels and the pillows. Some of the rooms do have some pretty views depending on what floor you are on. We stayed on the 2nd floor (1st floor of rooms), and it was very loud. At different times of the day the sewer smell in our room was quite strong. The breakfast room is on the same floor and in the mornings the dishes clanking and the guests walking/talking up and down the hall is very loud. The rooms are the hotel itself were very clean. There is a little bar/coffee area near the desk checkin.

The hotel is actually right, what you might not immediately think. It is not super clean, if someone is there pin gerlich, then doxh what should look different. Rooms have air conditioning, our rooms has a balcony! Is very centrally located! Unfortunately road where you not as sympathetic people can find on some pages in the evening. But otherwise there to go everywhere on foot! Breakfast fit either.
