EDIT: I have now been threatened with police presence following my negative review. They clearly don’t like people being honest! Terrible experience. I booked a 4 night stay here, and have left after only staying 1 night. I used booking. Com to book the stay, and the policy stayed that payment would be taken upon arrival at the hostel. When I checked in at 3pm, I was advised that they had already taken payment from my card that I reserved the stay with just after 1pm. This was not the card that I had wished to use to pay, so I politely asked if I could be refunded and I would pay again using a different card. The man on reception was so rude and I was told no. He then argued with me that it was booking. Com who had taken the payment. I phoned booking. Com, who advised me that the hostel should NOT have taken the payment prior to my arrival. The man on reception was then completely dismissive of me for the rest of the day. The key to the dorm room was faulty — I had to try it about 8 or 9 times each time before it eventually opened. The room was small and cramped, and did not have a patio as advertised. The showers were freezing cold, and when they did eventually slightly warm up, they were nothing more than a trickle of water — absolutely zero water pressure at all. I stayed in a mixed dorm and was placed in a room with 3 men — as a single female travelling alone, this was not ideal and I felt quite vulnerable. Better planning on their part needed here.

Stayed here in a shared room for 5 people for two nights after the Moto Clube Faro rally in July '17. The place was spotless, and so relaxing after 4 nights in the heat & dust of the motorcycle rally site. Good sized kitchen with large fridge & freezer. Lots of choice of bars & restaurants nearby (including the beachside bar which is part of the hostel). Regular bus service from nearby to the airport and into the town. I'd go back again without hesitation.

Stayed here inMay 2017 for a few days. Very new place, ncie terrace, good kitchen and comfy living area. Room wasn't cleaned once in 4 days though. Good food opposite the street at Wax Restobar.

Lovely location. It s super clean and relaxin. The place resides in the beach. We love the cleanliness and the modern features of the place. The common space is absolutely wonderful as well. The kitchen gets the job done. The bathrooms are a bit small for a tall person. Fortunately, the toilet points towards the door. We stayed in a place before where there was little space between the toilet and the wall. The beds are comfortable. We loved the place. The staff are super friend and provide great service.

More expensive than a 4 star hotel that already has a breakfast included while there not! No towels available (must rent 3 euros) for claims, never responsible, there is better and cheaper in the area.

The best hostel ever! It is small but it has all you need, it feels like if you are at home. The dinning room and living room are connected and has a glass door that allows you to see the river and the inland. The view is amazing! It has a great location, you can travel by car or bus (just a little walk from the drop off area). Highly recommended! Very clean!

Super cool hostel! Great location, comfortable bed, big kitchen, friendly staff and lovely food in restaurant :)

Amazing hostel, more like a hotel! New and stylish facility. The backyard has awesome views and lots of chairs. Open space, very relaxing and well maintained. Bikes and kayaks for rent on site which is awesome (you can kayak out from the backyard…) across the street is their restaurant which offers free breakfast with amazing view. The Faro beach is so underrated. I love it way more than the beaches in Albufeira. The Crowd here also seems to have a better vibe rather than other popular beaches that just get pissed drunk. The only downside is that they upper bed doesn't have railing so if you are afraid of heights, request a lower bed :) I am so happy I will stay there one night again next week. This place makes me want to come back again next year! The food at the Wax bistro is also good, staff super friendly. Love it.

Everything you need with the restaurant and beach across the street. Clean accommodations and friendly people. Easy to pay and even extend your stay, good prices.
