Review of Carvi Beach Hotel 3*

Well what can I say about the Carvi that I haven't said before. This truly beats the heart of Lagos. This is our second visit and after such a memorable first time we just had to come back. Whilst this lives up to its three star status, it's the staff that make it a five. Rooms are great, clean, spacious and get cleaned daily. The shower works a treat and I would advise a sea view room with a balcony. Beautiful views. But enough of all that. Let's talk about why Carvi is the… amazing place that it is. Having only been once before, nearly every member of staff remembered me and my wife. All of a sudden you feel like part of the family. They don't want to do anything but please you — and they do in abundance. It's what they do best. I've never known a staff in a hotel as good as Carvi (and I've stayed in lots of hotels) but nobody comes close to here. The warmth, the love. These guys work hard daily but always have a smile on their face. Whether they are preparing your meal or pouring your drink, it's just a pleasure to be around these guys and I think the feeling is mutual. We were asked to come back to enjoy new year's eve and we're seriously considering it. I have to single out a couple of people. Jackson. Now he is at the heart of everything I love about Carvi. Service with a smile, a truly nice guy, lovely character and will make you feel more than just a guest. You'll see a lot of Jackson as he is there day and night. When you see him, tell him Neil and Laura said Hi. Love this guy. On the last day of our short trip we had some food, (which is of a great standard) and to enjoy this, the lovely Antonio, who runs this hotel, greeted us with a bottle of wine to enjoy our meal with. There's no better place to enjoy a glass of wine than on the rooftop at Carvi, overlooking the vast ocean. This truly was a lovely gesture. This is a person who really values your custom, remembers you and wants to look after you. A genuinely lovely guy. Like I said, it's the staff here that make the Carvi a Five Star. I just want to thank the team for making our stay amazing once again. We will really miss you, but we will be back. That's for sure. If you go ahead and book the Carvi then be genuinely excited. It's a brilliant place.
