We stayed in a suite, the hotel is gorgeous water-lined, it gives the opportunity to relax at their spa, Jet pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, we even enjoy getting massaged in duo for our wedding anniversary and really these Ladies know very well cocoon her clients, very professional I will keep a very good memory. Very good hotel and very well maintained go there you will not regret it.

Hotel was lovely and modern feeling although the location made it really susceptible to wind and cold. Staff were very friendly and we even had a bottle of free Brut in our mini fridge. Room was lovely but the beds were not proper doubles and had a big join down the middle, the room kept making creaking clicking noises every 20 seconds and the fire alarm went off at 6am. We were a bit disappointed that that the hotel bar wasn't much of a lounging area, it was just a drinks bar at the side of the breakfast dining room with no area to really relax in, which when it's cold out would have been nice.

The spa is small but cosy, you need some care.
But the rest of the facilities and the rooms one pass. Full breakfast. Good deal.
Close to amazing beaches and supermarkets, but at the same time, in quiet area. Ideal for getaways or with children.

Really valid, beyond expectations, quite strategic location, all amenities especially the breakfast room for International breakfast buffet to be appreciated especially.

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, apart from the "manager"! A little man giving his orders, ignoring all guests! Just really rude! Hotel was isolated but great little shop around the corner, and a Lidl about ten minutes walk away, spa an pools excellent, and a lovely breakfast, you definitely need to hire a car!

Convenient Hotel If you want to visit Faro. Breakfast Infinity pool overlooking the river. Relaxing place.

The staff at the restaurant are very friendly. On the other hand the hotel services are far below what is sold.

Far from the beach. If you are there in the summer, then try to call Uber, they are there. The hotel is imposing its expensive taxi. The rest is the norm. The breakfast was excellent. Very good reception of the hotel staff. Terrace in the apartments with seen on the river where the pool. The apartments are very well equipped at the material level but lack of dishwashing products, towels, sponges. The hotel being located in Portimão, we were close to many of the Algarve sites.
Only downside, the foul smell of the air (vase due to the marred? ) at certain times.

Nice hotel. Beautiful rooms or studios, well equipped, a superb view for some. However, a fairly present and recurring odor (function of the tides) comes to spoil the frame.

Modern Hotel, very well equipped and the staff very attentive and friendly. Spacious and very clean rooms. Only flaw in my opinion is the smell of the atmosphere at low tide which is a bit unpleasant.

Excellent, faultless service and comfort levels for a great low price. Easy parking, quiet location right on river looking across to Portimão. Only downside is a very pungent smell from the river which is always there when you go outside. The hotel must investigate this as sooo many reviewers have commented on it.

The hotel is well located, close to the A22 (main motorway of the Algarve), the rooms are large as well as the bathrooms, it has spa not very big but correct.

Apart from the architecture, and the apartment. The savings are everywhere: nothing to wash a bottle, curtains repaired, traffic not obvious (a hut hides the entrance of the SPA).
I do not recommend dinner (green soup supermarket, gnocchi without interest and even the pasta Bolognese were missed, fruit dessert better because not cooked. No boss? Very bad kitchen). I do not recommend breakfast either (little choice, we had the only table in the Sun, pity for others, chemical fruit juice), the pool outside is icy and inside small and it takes a cap sold to 4 €/person to meet without sight, in a cold atmosphere…

That's great. A very good hotel. With access to the spa and free gym. With good sign of free Wi-Fi in the rooms. Very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is great, very abundant and with variety. They make pancakes and eggs on an iron at the time. Definitely if I go back to Portugal I stay at this hotel again.

Lovely hotel and great staff who really go out of their way to help, English is not so great but they understand the basics. Evening entertainment is somewhat limited, but in the day there is plenty to do. The hotel is a around a 10 minute drive away from the town but there is a small shop near the entrance which has everything you need, apart from souvenirs a d the like.

Excellent service, beautiful rooms with kitchenette and balcony, on-site spa service, 2 swimming pools, restaurant. Breakfast very good. A great stay in Algorge.

This is going to be the most honest and truthful review on this hotel and it will let you decide whether or not you want to book this hotel. Good Points: The rooms are really nice and clean. They have good views from where your room is located, which is nice. The beds are really comfortable so you will get a nice sleep. They have a swimming pool, Sauna, Steam room and Jacuzzi which is nice to relax in. The staff are a mix of good and bad. One of the staff members Miguel is a really nice young lad who helped us out so much in terms of where to go, what to do and in general help. However, the security guard is a bit grumpy and one of the lady's at front is a bit stuck up like she don't care about working. It's like 5min walking distance from Lidl so you can do your shopping there and save money on take away. Bad Points: Now to the bad points of the hotel. The hotels biggest let down that I feel was not good was that they have no Wi-Fi in the rooms, which means that you have to go to the front lobby to use it. The rooms don't have that much lighting in it which can make it a bit dull. The fans in the three of our bathrooms didn't even work. Another bad thing is because the hotel is solar panel based, it meant that the hot showers in the rooms would turn cold once the sun goes down. This meant you had to have a shower a soon as possible and not when you felt like it. The TV was pretty rubbish only had like a few channels on it.

Lovely view of the estuary river and well placed for access to main road system and nearby Ferragudo. Smart comfortable rooms and lovely gardens and pool. Good breakfast.

Good modern hotel. Clean, updated, very quiet surrounding areas. It's not in a easy walkable distance from beach or city center, but I prefer the silence. Swimming pools (interior and exterior) and spa area are ok for a 4 star category. Free parking. Cool design. Good price/quality relation. I would come back and recommend it!

Ok its a bit out of the way but if you have a car no problem. The hotel itself its modern with indoor pool and outdoor pool overlooking the river. The food is good and the staff also. Plenty of parking and within walking distance to a few cafes and bars. But you really do need a car to get to other areas. They do all inclusive which seems to be the best deal, although the snacks and dinner are reasonably priced for what you get. All in all a great place to stay to visit the surrounding areas.

Comfortable stay in a neat environment and with a good breakfast.

Good hotel, we were newly opened and with a great deal on the economic. Modern room with double bed and a wide bathroom. The pool was very good and the only thing to note on the negative was the tiny spa.

For the price you can get a very good deal, yes the location is out of town but for 6euro a taxi takes you into the town centre, or a walk of 2 km via the bridge. The food is basic but there is plenty to eat and a wide choice, they try to cater for an international palate! Even locals eat here, so for 15 euro buffet it must be OK. The Spa is tired at the end of the season, but the staff respond very well to the effort of a thank you or please in Portuguese. If some one complained loudly and incessantly in a foreign language to you… Thank you Riverside for a fantastic 8 day stay.

The hotel is very well is new everything except the mattresses, the treatment is also very good and the buffet is also good, the only drawback as I say, are the mattresses.

Outstanding junior suite, with a kitchen very recurrent integrated, two large flat panel displays (tv1 and 24h Spanish channels that you see) and quite comfortable. Ideal Hotel for your visit to the site and at a given time make use of its facilities, the hotel offers YOU, but never what I would recommend. It has a beautiful swimming pool and a spa simple that you can use for free, although in my stay the sauna was turned off, gym scarce and with the multi-function machine broken. Nice chill-out area at night. If you smell thin depends on how the wind blows will emerge a strong smell of the estuary that may bother your stay.

Little choice in the restaurant of this hotel. Typical food to foreigners. Thanks just for the Gin Tonic.

Good hotel, spacious and absolutely all its friendly workers, this makes the stay very pleasant.
Super comfortable bed and breakfast quite well equipped.
Vista is not bad, there is a nearby river, but that brings enough mosquitoes to the rooms.
The food well, but if you don't go with her pretty face included.
Spa, sauna, jacuzzi and gym free, although close very soon.
I missed less diverse activities and performances in the evening, but in general I recommend the hotel.
If you plan to go out and party, Portimão is just about 15minutes on foot, the hotel is as in a nearby village, nothing close to pub, disco or restaurants, you would have that take taxis.

The best: the room which was actually an apartment with fully equipped kitchenette.
The personal of the hotel simply insurmountable.
I must admit that the stay left us really cheap thanks to a portal of tourist offers.
