We had such a relaxing stay! Stunning views beautiful mature gardens variety of pools and a picturesque beach cove! Spacious very comfortable ccommodation. Delicious food served with a vast choice of wines! Great service all round!

Excellent on all levels.
The place is slpendide, the staff well-looking.
The rooms with sea views are the must.

My husband and I planned our small/intimate wedding here in Oct 2019 and it was an AMAZING experience. I’m not usually a “resort” type of traveler because I like to go around and see different things but this place did the best job possible at making me not want to leave the resort. Great beach, amazing hospitality and service, delicious food and drinks, perfect views — I don’t know what else I could ask for. And if you’re considering planning a wedding here I’d highly recommend it, they made sure it was the best day. Thank you!

The hotel is in stunning grounds. Staff are very helpful and there to please you. The hotel was quiet when we stayed there so it was easy to find somewhere to sunbathe either on the private beach or by the pool. Rooms are excellent. Things to be aware of … if half board you only have the option of 1 restaurant. This was not clear when we booked. You also have limited menu. Breakfast was a buffet and plenty of choice was available. Prices are quite expensive for food and drink. If you leave the hotel you will find bars and cafes although it is not a very busy area of portugal. A perfect hotel for couples wanting a relaxing break.

Beautiful natural setting with chic contemporary suites and very good staff. Could have more culinary options but the beautiful beach more than makes up for it.

Incredible service and an immaculate attention to detail. Stunning locale with ample opportunity for day trips. Great food and wine offerings but the cocktails leave room to impress.

Just arrived home after 5 lovely days in Vilalara Thalassa resort, 5th time we have been here, our favourite hotel, this time with our 9 month old baby boy whom the staff were amazing with, we cannot fault anything, Superb service, great food & a gorgeous luxury resort! Would recommend to anyone! 5

A very relaxing place surrounded by nature and fresh wildness. Perfect for family time out or for even for couple's looking for a little honeymoonish weekend. The beach is a very calm bay with a stunning landscape around. Helpful staff, AMAZING rooms and overall top level service. The only points of improvement for the hotel is the breakfast (that is definitely not 5 star level) and the service at the beach — free water, better fresh nibbles …

Very stylish hotel. Of course, something has come of age, but well preserved. And that's what makes it so charming. Because it has been constantly renovated and above all the vegetation of its equal.

Particularly noteprising is the fact that due to the large number of pools in different locations and direct access to the sea, even at full occupancy, guests are well distributed and you almost feel like you are in a boutique hotel.

The service is also very attentive and helpful at all times.

In terms of food, the breakfast is very good and varied, at dinner there is always a lack of sophistication. Good quality of the goods, that is undisputed. Matching wines are also recommended.

Fantastic hotel and experience. Really improved the service compared to previous years and nicer touches in the rooms. Strongly recommend for a week in the sunshine, especially if you like tennis. My only request would be upgrading the cardio equipment in the gym — it is supposed to be a health related hotel!

We came here for our honeymoon after getting married just north of Lisbon. I don't know why it isn't rated higher! The design of the rooms is not the latest, but it is still incredibly nice and functional. We had a gigantic room with a spa tub and private terrace almost the same size of the room itself. I could have done several cartwheels in the room. The service was just excellent. Very personable and nice. The location is absolutely stunning and the terrace pool is one of the nicest pools I've ever been in. Also — even though the architecture might look like something out of Bond movie (whether that's a good thing or bad thing, depends on you) — you'll find that it is actually harmonious with the landscape, so in that way I really came to appreciate it. I would very highly recommend this resort!

5 Star Location, 0 Star Service! Booked nine days in May and on day two I was shockingly sworn at by a member of staff, reported this to management and astonishingly they did nothing! I’ve stayed in five star hotels on five different continents and never experienced anything like this. Repeatedly went back to the Front Desk to ask what was going and kept on being told don’t worry about it. After another visit to find out what was going on they asked if they could they book me dinner at the restaurant where the staff member who swore at me worked (without specifying who would pay for it), I declined. Waited for an apology…nothing. The day before my departing flight bumped into the Front Desk Manager who offered to book me another night’s stay but without clarifying who would pay for it, but still no apology. Also reported a faulty flashing light in my room at night FIVE times and considering the previous serious complaint I’d made expected to be moved room, once again nothing! How the establishment has five stars is beyond me. Room service was hit and miss as to whether they bought all of the requested food and drink. The restaurant while nice doesn’t warrant the price, tended to eat elsewhere. The location is great, the majority of the staff are friendly/professional but the management/ parts of the service are a joke.

Most beautiful resort! The entire resort is just breathtaking. Everything is clean and very well kept. The view from the breakfast patio is spectacular. I would go back every single year if I could.

Catastrophically communication during booking process. No word from the staff. Confirmed in written form and during same day informed us that cannot confirm the rate that offered some hours ago. Declined their offer and choose another hotel! Fake resort. Highly not recommended!

Difficult to find the words… One of the most beautiful resorts in one of the most beautiful settings in the Algarve. Very charming, exceptional service.

We stayed in a suite with a hot tub on the large balcony. Fabulous service. Nice breakfast. Amazing place to stay.

The hotel was very nice and clean.

This place is a real gem, pure relaxation. Just love the beautiful gardens and sea views and so many places to go to relax without anyone around. The staff are all so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Perfect honeymoon destination.

Loved the resort — good location next to the beach with the highest level of service.

Wonderfully relaxing experience in this spacious, premium resort. There is access directly to a private beach which is beautiful, the spa and facilities are very good and there is a large outdoor pool. Breakfast was amazing, we joined dinner on a BBQ night — there was certainly plenty to eat, hit/miss on quality, but good. Looking forward to our return, the staff were all incredible and the rooms are fab.

It's a great hotel with a superb SPA and a restaurant at the height.

Very pleasant stay with attentive service personnel. Only downside, the pools has sea water are not heated.
