Brilliant courses, shame the waiters / bar staff are so shocking 25 mins and then the wrong drinks. 10 mins later still no drinks. Recommend eat and drink locally off resort.

This place is amazing facilities is up with the best friendly staff especially Jessica she made our trip so welcome I’d recommend this place two amazing golf courses with fantastic views 🏌🏼‍♂️👏🏻👌🏻

Played the O’Connor today & thoroughly enjoyed it, even though I didn’t have my A-game. The course was in very good condition & the greens were very fast yet true. All of the staff very welcoming & looking forward to returning to play the Faldo course in 2 days time.

Golf is very good although they need to spend some money on the bunkers. Food not great and food that should be served hot was often cold. Had a great time though and will probably be back 👍🏻

Just returned from our first visit to the resort from the moment we arrived we felt valued and very welcomed by the staff on reception the whole experience was excellent we couldn’t find and faults at all the courses are fantastic and enjoyable to play we needed to get pcr tests to fly home which were booked by reception and a taxi also the food is excellent and a varied choice of dishes I’d like to mention the reception staff by name as they were so helpful they where Maria and Edgar nothing was any trouble for them they even printed our documents off for us ready to return home we will be back again next year.

Had a great round of golf with my 14yr old son today, well kept course and a buggy is a must, keep up the good work will definitely be back ⛳️👊🏻🏌🏻‍♂️

Wonderful. Everything we expected and more. The Staff were brilliant and the accommodation excellent. Not my first visit, won’t be my last.

Wow! A great place even if just taking in the view, but as a place to play golf, it is exceptional. We played the Faldo course and off the white tees it is a just under 7, 000 yards, but what great holes and fabulous views. We are seriously considering staying there next year and playing both courses. You definitely need a buggy on the Faldo though.

Fantastic golf courses with 5 star service. Genuinely not to be missed on your golfing holiday or for any fun round of golf.

Amazing apartments lovely pool quiet neighbours restaurant was ok not the best food nice place to be and ideal parking.

This resort has everything we needed as a group of golfers. The rooms were amazing, spacious and great facilities.

Excellent resort. Accommodation is absolutely superb. Golf courses excellent though our group preferred the O'Connor course. Issues however — 8 min slots for tee times resulting in course backing up for ages though appreciate need to get people out. Fairways and greens in excellent condition though fairways very spongy and took time to get used to. Food in clubhouse was every good, however (big however) the one thing that really let's this place down is the shambles of waiter… service. Wouldn't allow orders at the bar (wouldn't take money at time of ordering), sent you away and then no one would come and take an order. Very irritating — they clearly have no (working) system and at times it was clear they weren't sure which groups had ordered food and drink resulting in repeated bill mixups. In fact, it was so bad, we actually found it quite funny. Bar service excluded, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times, to be fair as were the bar staff — they just need some sort of manager in place overlooking the circus. Overall extremely enjoyable weekend, likely to be back.

Just back from a 5 night stay and have to say everything was 5*. Superb courses, apartment was excellent, food was excellent and ALL members of staff were extremely polite and helpful which all in all made a great holiday… Highly recommended.

Looked after from start to finish by the friendly staff. Stayed in a villa overlooking the O'Connor course, would fully recommend. The 2 courses are stunning in different ways and very challenging. Will be looking to book again.

First time ever I have been to a golf resort with 2 x 18 hole golf courses, and both are fantastic. Both challenging in their own way. You must play both courses more than once, so I would fully recommend booking unlimited golf with a buggy. The clubhouse bar is stocked with a good variety of beers, including my favourite the 6.7% Porter. Relax in the bar area in the evening watching UK sport, or take the 20 min taxi ride to Albufeira or Portimao. Accommodation is top class (I would recommend a Villa if there are a few of you) basically, a top notch golfing holiday.

Great for golf but clubhouse not brilliant for food.

Very high quality accommodation, excellent golf courses, excellent food and very friendly service.

Faldo course. Everything is high quality. A little disoriented because too many holes are blinded and in a lot of cases the stakes requires a drive long enough to cross a no man's land. It must be played several times to properly scorer. I'm HCP 8.

Booked a "superior" villa for 8 guys on golf holiday. Enormous layout. Private pool and superbly finished.

A must play definitely, Faldo course very difficult, a nice challenge for good player. A1 condition, it worth the price!

Stayed in 2-3 bed maisonette, very modern & clean. Close to the pool. Car hire is essential.

Play the Faldo course. Very nice track. Quality Service.
Can be a little too much distance between the holes…

There are many places that claim to be a 5 Star Resort, but in reality The Amendoeira Resort ticks all the boxes. From the moment you pass the security gates you are transported into a piece of golfing heaven. The receptionist's are charming, courteous and extremly efficient. The Marshalls relieve you of your bag in the car park to take to a waiting buggy whilst you prepare yourself in the sumptious rest/changing rooms. Once ready, you will find your bag on an allocated buggy of the highest quality including GPS.
The practice area has all you could wish for and the balls are pyramided for your use.
There is a marshall on each of the first tee's with information of the course which is beneficial and can answer pretty much any golfing question you may have.
On finishing your round the staff treat everyone with an air of respect only found at the Amendoeira Resort before once again relieving you of your bag which is taken to a secure area before your departure.
The experience should not stop there as this place has the finest clubhouse in The Algarve with views over both courses. The menu in the restarant has been designed with all tastes in mind and there is also a daily buffet available with a multiple choice of foods selected by the Chef.
For those staying at the resort, there is a varied entertainment programme with quality musicians and various other talents on display from Circus nights to exotic Belly Dancing.

Being vegetarian I ordered a veggie burger, the burger arrived with bacon and they took it back to the kitchen and scraped it off and tried to serve it to me and at this point I refused to eat the new one brought out, manager was very apologetic and offered me new food The thing that really annoyed me was the staff laughing behind my back.

Just back from a week 's golf. Course superb accom superb clubhouse superp service in club house restaurant and bar atrocious. Spoiled what could have been a perfect week.

In line with the luxury hotels on a Gulf apart. Daily hotel services, Kids club, tennis, golf, gym, restaurants…

Been here twice. Have never been let down. Look forward to the next time.
