Just arrived home last night from a lovely week in these apartments, can not recommend enough, rooms are spotless & spacious Staff all so lovely & helpful nothing a problem Also great to meet all the regulars that go every year they made us feel so welcome Will defo be back soon ❤️❤️

I would like to say I arrived on the 27th August for 2weeks with my partner never been to Portugal before the hotel was fantastic we stayed in room 205 the staff at reception were very helpful and the snack bar as well wish I was there now I would go back in a flash cleaners very good Portugal was a very nice place lots to do the beaches are beautiful the best hotel I’ve stayed in lots of room all I can say is excellent x.

Great hotel. Big clean rooms. Staff very helpful. Well placed for all restaurants. Fat cats across the road is fab. Pool bar Natalia and her family. Great food and service. Can’t wait too return. Fantastic holiday.

5 Stars! The Tropical Sol is a lovely friendly hotel. We went on B&B basis, breakfast was great — everything from a cooked breakfast, cereal, fruit, nice selection of bakery goods and a lovely hostess who had a cheery smile every morning. We were in the lower floor which has a great patio with two wicker lounges and is a whole 5 steps from the large pool. There is a great little cafe for snacks and drinks. Overall all the staff were warm and welcoming. Its conveniently located a 5 minute walk from the start of the Strip, and the blue train stop, but far enough away for there to be no noise. A 20 minute walk or 10 min blue train trip to old town Albufeira — oh and there is a great bakery just round the corner! Only gripe is the poor Wi-Fi signal!

The staff are so friendly and helpful spotless rooms fresh towels everyday very safe and lovely food. Going back this year for our fourth time.

Absolutely lovely rooms, amazing breakfast, lovely helpful staff and ultimate cleanliness. My partner and I have been here twice and want to come back already!

Rooms are large and very clean towels changed every day, staff are very friendly nothing is to much trouble for them highly recommended we are definitely coming back next year.

Best value small appt/hotel I've witnessed. The reviews speak for themselves!
It's not 5* Ritz but you could stay a fortnight here for the price of a night in the Ritz!

Amazing hotel snack bar well prices room massive with large terrance air con large TV plus one in bedroom shower fantasic no rusimg for sunbeds 5 stars from me.

On holidays with family including 7 & 11 yr old boys, extremely clean complex, apartments are so big and spacious, pool is lovely although the beds are always reserved well before pool opening time. This hotel has been fabulous the staff are friendly, the Wi-Fi is bad in rooms even after paying but would definitely stay again.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Our room is a 1 bed apartment which is a really good size. Pool snack bar, family run with a great snack menu and good selection of drinks, happy hour 5-7 = large beer, €1.50. Superb value for money hotel. Main beach is a 20 minute walk otherwise I find it hard to fault.

Very good hotel in Albufeira. It is very close to one of the main marching streets of the city, you can walk. Very good pool too. Totally recommendable.

Hotel room was really large and well laid out. Kitchen area had two cooking rings and microwave if you wanted to cook. Plenty of utensils and crockery. Bedrooms are spacious and very pretty. The shower was really good. Overall one of the best apartments we've stayed in.

Fantastic place to stay This hotel is just perfect. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Hotel is kept very clean every day. The apartments are very spacious and all have pool views. Hotel is in a great location just 5 minutes walk from the strip and about 10 minutes walk from the old town It’s a fab place to stay. Check in was very quick. Accommodation, public areas, pool area etc kept amazingly clean Apartments spacious all with pool view. We were booked as self catering but had a few breakfasts in the restaurant at a cost of 7 euros. To be honest breakfast was ok but not that great. A nicer breakfast could be had at the poolside cafe for a cost of 5 euros. Lovely and freshly cooked. The family running this were brilliant. The location is great. Not far from Strip if you like the Strip area but we didn’t hear any noise from it. A few nice bars, restaurants, SPAR, bakery and supermarket with minutes. We have stayed at many places in Albufeira, Montechoro, Paraiso, Forte do vale, KR Hotel, Paladim to name a few and liked them all. Have to say tho I think Tropical Sol is top, of our list! We will definitely return.

Great hotel appartment is outstanding. Quiet pool and bar relexing few beers beside snack bar and pool. Breakfast is the best after a few.

Lovely clean spacious apartments, close to all amenities, looking forward to our 5th stay in 2 weeks time, love this place, just like home from home.

Great value for money, from the outside you can't see the wonderful interior and large exterior pool area, all rooms have pool view. Great ground apts with patio and front of pool.

Superbien. Of the best blind people in my life. Beer in pot cups at 1, 5 euros in the middle of August.

Just got back from our second stay here and it's as good as ever. Our room was nice and clean with plenty of space and a top notch shower. The staff were friendly as ever and very helpful. Will stay there again.

Basic but clean. Two flatscreen tv's. All overlooking pool. Wee snack bar reasonably priced for food and drink. Cleaning on a daily basis. Nice location except for traffic noise.

Excellent hotel very friendly staff at both reception and pool bar. Apartments are spacious and very clean. We have stayed in this hotel on our last 5 visits and are looking forward to returning in September 2017. And have already booked it again for 2018 I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very clean, rooms are very large and contain all basic amenities. Sun trap so no matter where you are around the pool you always get the sun.

Good sized apartments good air con good sized pool poolside snack bar excellent for quality and price.

Nice hotel with a good pool. We had a spacious suite on the ground floor, which was well designed, clean and had a terrace with view over the pool.

For what you pay, the apartments are clean and well provided. Nice pool area, bar and poolside bar.

Lovely hotel in the old town with large comfortable rooms and balconies with pool views. Visited towards the end of season in November so it was quiet but weather was perfect. Have just rebooked again. Would highly recommend.

I am at the Tropical Sol. Its such an amazing place. The apartments are so spacious and spotless clean. The pool is massive and I would love to swim in it, but as nude swimming is probably frowned upon I will give it a miss! Note to self bring bathing costume next time. And there will be a next time! We are 5 mins from the strip, we found this out after we went completely in the wrong direction! All in all its one beautiful place and if you manage to get a holiday here you wont regret it!

The fact that this place gets fully booked very quickly each year and the fact that you see the same familiar faces among the guests on each visit, says it all.
Excellent facilities, all rooms face the pool and the sun, there is an excellent pool snack bar with good food and drink selection which doesn't cost the earth and is operated by one of the nicest families in Albufeira.
We will be there in May for our 14th visit. We have been going to Albufeira for many years and have stayed in other aparthotels and privately owned apartments in the area, but we always gravitate back to the Tropical Sol.
Best pool in the area, especially the kiddies' section which is very popular.
Only minor niggle is the €10 weekly charge for the Wi-Fi service. Most places now provide it free of charge. But that's my only criticism.
Friendly and helpful reception staff and pleasant cleaning ladies who always have a cheery smile.
Can't wait for our next visit.

I have been at the tropical sol quite a lot lovely place spotless staff are excellent rooms are great great location would recommend it to anyone.

What can I say big clean rooms friendly helpful staff good snack bar at the pool good breakfast in the hotel only minus point is that you have to pay for the Wi-Fi when virtually everywhere else roundabout is free but that won't stop us going back.

It was realy good me and my husband was there for a week in feb go back again.

Beautiful place with wonderful and attentive staff. I would defiantly recommend and will be going back many times myself thank you so much tropical sol.
