Just returned from a lovely holiday here had an amazing time, accommodation was clean and well maintained, staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble, would definitely recommend.

Love this place so clean, staff friendly and welcoming — 2nd time here in 6 months and will definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Fab place fab staff good location taxis are cheap.

This is an absolute gem of a hotel. Beautiful gardens. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. We have been back here every year since 2011. A little off the beaten track but if you don't mind a stroll it is well worth trying out. See you next year 5

Rooms really big and clean staff very helpful food very good lunches went out for evening meals only fault if any around 15min walk into town but eh not a problem really enjoying it.

Great place. Spotless clean and lovely pool, 15 min walk to main strip which suited us perfect, we stayed in apt 46 which is huge, sis stayed in no 7 which is fairly small, overall very happy and will be back.

Staff are very friendly rooms are nice and it's very clean and well kept hotel. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Very clean, staff are friendly and polite and speak english. Missing this resort, loved it here. Only thing we got surprised with is €150 euro deposit on arrival, which we had in full back on departure!

By far the best resort in algarve staff are great, rooms are regularly cleaned and pool is amazingwill definitely return to balaia sol.

Very dated resort, rooms are very simple and can get cold in the winter months. Its also a taxi ride into the centre of Albufeira. Cheap and cheerful is the best way to describe.

By the good service of rooms.

It is only for the summer, in winter, this very alone, isolated and without means of transportation. The excursions expensive for retirees, there is no animation, after dinner to sleep.

Great hotel, good service, removed from the center of town but in a car this close and with shopping centers nearby.

Hotel located in a mountain close to Albufeira without a car you are isolated. It has a swimming pool, cancjas of tennis, and you can take the sun. If not for this, it is not advisable to this hotel.

Beautiful apartments in beautiful surroundings. Spotlessly clean and very spacious. Will defo be back. Staff are so politel and really helpful, nothings a problem.

Amazing, stay every year for the last 7 years. Cannot fault the place. All the apartments have a generous amount of living space. Great facilities in the apartments, great for self catering, nice pools, fast enough Wi-Fi. Love it here would totally recommend.

Great place to relax! Multiple swimming pools and very well kept gardens. Great Tennis teacher (João) and near by beach (10 min walk).

This hotel is awesome! I really recommend this place, friendly atmosphere, good service, towels changing twice a week, very clean rooms with nice bathroom, kichenette with equipment, balcony… In my opinion location is also good — not far from centre, and with ~1.5km to the beach but enough far from friday, saturday, sunday disco smashing nights :) ) This hotel have also swimming pool with small bar and place around pool for sunbathing ;) Yes, and really 'friendly' price consists for the highest rating :)

Relatively small set of apartments, we had self catering in a well sized, extremely clean and very nice apartment with balcony. Staff were exceptionally polite, kind and helpful. A little out of the way, 15 minutes to the strip (but don't go there) and 30 minutes walk to Old Town, actually enjoyed how out of the way it was. If that's not a problem for you, then I couldn't recommend enough.
