5 star stay! Family friendly lovely resort everything in the complex you can spend the whole week here without even leaving the Alfagar Village.

We arrived yesterday and was greeted with a lovely warm welcome. Super apartment and spotlessly clean. Lovely resort. Had a meal at the buganvilia restaurant and it was delicious and a great price. Visited the mini market which was very well stocked and again reasonable prices. So far we are very impressed and are looking forward to the rest of our stay. Would recommend to anyone thinking of coming here.

Just home yesterday after an 8 night stay here as a family of 4 and we all loved it. Would definitely recommend the Colina, especially with kids. Pools are great, apartment was really big and very clean. We ate in the tavern bar which is also takeaway and food was lovely. Staff very nice too. This was our first time in Portugal and we almost booked our next year holiday to the Colina when we were sitting on our balcony but decided to wait until next month. Old town is lovely to visit and not far. Great relaxing holiday and will definitely be back 👌🇵🇹🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Lovely place staff are great love it.

We are staying here now. We have nothing but praise for this hotel, we have a large apartment with a full kitchen area and appliances if u wanted to do your own food you can, we find the food lovely plenty of variety and tasty dishes, staff are lovely work extremely hard, the pools are really lovely also we are a family of eight here. Ages from 17 to 70 and we are more than happy with everything.

Having stayed at Alto da Colina twice before the first year being August 2018 we found the rooms amazingly clean and well equipped and looked after. The entertainment around the pool was just fantastic the group of people employed were happy, enthusiastic and provided great daytime fun with music, water games and quizzes and there was a kids disco every evening with face painting. Everything was spotlessly clean the smell of bleach and laundry was a daily occurrence. Evening entertaining was equally as good as was the staff. In 2019 we returned with extended family things had changed the daytime entertainment wasn’t as good but on the whole it was still an enjoyable holiday. We have just returned from our 3rd stay and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. The bathroom was mouldy with a blocked bath and after complaining it wasn’t resolved so we had to complain again. There were some creepy crawlies under my sons bed which had to be treated/spayed to get rid of them. The hob was falling out of the worktop too. The maids turned up at 5pm to clean our room on a few occasions when everyone was trying to get ready to go out so cleaning didn’t get done on those days. The staff in the bar were not as friendly as before with one lady practically calling my daughter a liar.

Second time we’ve stayed with Alfagar. Both times we really enjoyed our stay. Lovely Staff, nice rooms and amazing pools and walking distance to beautiful beaches!

We are just back from 10 days there is so much to do onsite… kids clubs, kids activities, entertainment, choice of several pool areas, restaurants & a mini supermarket. You don't even need to leave the village.

Just arrived back today from my holiday here celebrating my niece's wedding. I just can't say enough about this place. Everyone was so friendly and they just couldn't do enough for you. So clean. Food lovely and a amazing place for kids. Thank you so much for a amazing holiday and I will definitely be back. Thank you Stephaine for letting us share your special day in a special place. Me and my husband and 3 boys have just come back from alfagar aparthotel today, wow what can I say we had the best holiday the pools are amazing, the apartment was so clean and spacious all the amenities were there, very helpful kind staff, loved that we could use all the pools, we definitely want to book again for next year, I am already missing it, thank you especially to the bar men and women who were so friendly and helpful,

Great place to stay, beautiful grounds and fabulous pools. Apartment really clean and fully equipped with everything that you would need. Restaurants are great and all the staff very friendly and helpful.

Second time here and it is an excellent resort for families. Large, spacious apartments with the use of all the facilities of the other hotels. Near to a fantastic beach and with great pools.

Very big and comfortable room. The swimming pool is great and beautiful too.
Service is good and they are always ready to help you.

A spacious resort, truly like a village. Picturesque and beautifully located.

Absolutely fantastic place, we really enjoyed our stay, we are looking to come back next year 5* all round!
Its amazing for children, mine are (1, 6, 8) and they loved it ☺️

Don't make a reservation here if you are not sure you can come because off covid or if you've booked with free cancellation and did a prepayment, don't make a prepayment! They don't return the money after many times they promised they will. Management promised me since october to refund the money, still not received the refund and they don't reply my e-mails or calls.

This is our 3rd stay within the alfagar hotels and second in the village. And it was just amazing as always, staff were so friendly and helpful and we had the most stunning sea view, we even saw a pod of dolphins from our balcony, I cannot thank you enough for that. We were a little gutted to find that the aparthotel was not open as my son loves the pool there and it is more suited than the one at the village but he still had a wonderful time and we will continue to recommend yourselves. Gorgeous grounds, on the beach highly recommend.

The cleaning staff super nasty, the two days we stayed at the hotel no one happened to clean our room, when we asked for towels we were told they would bring them to us during the afternoon and the next day we had to go and ask them at reception because they did not we were brought, the buffet in the fast was fine, but in the dinners super sparse the food, there were none of the variety, the TV did not work and where you put the card in the room so that there is light also broken, it fell.
The beach which is about 500 m away is very unmarked.
For my taste the only thing I had good were the pools.

Excellent accommodation, spotlessly clean throughout the hotel, staff amazing couldn't do enough for you, good entertainment for kids with disco, football water park etc. Little bit out of town but a good taxi service for 5 euros to the strip or 10 to 15 euros to the old town. Definitely recommend we've had a great holiday.

A wonderful hotel for the family, everything you could wish for and so much more.

Only arrived yesterday really really nice place staff very helpful very spacious nice and relaxing lots for the kids to do plenty of pool space stayed in the other alfagar last year liked that but like this part very much well done alfagar.

Great resort in Albufeira in the Algarve! Multiple pools, tennis, football and much more. Friendly staff. Many Englishmen — most of them pleasant …
Overall absolute recommendation.

It is a great place, very cozy always with activities for all and especially children are spent pump in their water park and its minidisc. We'll repeat for sure. The only thing I would like is that speak more Spanish for the other 10.

Very spacious, renovated apartments, very comfortable beds, excellent food, ideal for children. Repeat.

Great hotel for a family holiday.

Little security, no blankets, the differential of light skipped every two x three, super expensive food, unguarded pools etc etc.

Fantastic views, just beautiful is this place, anybody should visit.

Fantastic staff and apartment hotel, cleanliness was excellent, location was excellent and we had a rainy day which we used the facilities in the hotel and were very happy with the entire experience.

A lovely, well maintained hotel. Visited in the winter season, so not many establishments open locally. A beautiful beach just 10minutes walk away (down a very steep set of stairs. The hotel rooms and grounds were very clean. Staff very friendly. Would definitely go back, but would probably rent a car next time.

Our stay was exceptional very clean, staff very friendly and helpfull!

Great apartments but pay for everything extra. Gym, sauna, Wi-Fi in room, laundry all cost extra. It's quite away from main Albufeira but it's parking meant we were able to hire a car and get about easily. Local shop is three mins away big supermarket 10 mins away by foot. I would come again and recommend to friends and family.
