Casas de Sabóia is a guest house located in a small village in Alentejo, near Santa Clara Lake. Just a 5-minute drive from the Mira riverfront area, the guest house is a 3-minute drive away from the Santa Clara-Sabóia Train Station.
The guest house is a 33-minute drive from the entrance of the Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina natural Park, which features several beaches, green areas and hiking trails. The area also features a varied animal and plant life that guests can admire. The riverfront area allows for sports fishing and several water sports. Scenic boat trips are also available.
Breakfast is delivered to the door daily and guests can prepare their meals in the fully equipped kitchen. There is a restaurant in the centre of Sabóia, just a few minutes' walk away.

➜ Casas de Saboia has been the nicest accommodation we have ever been to with the nicest and most welcoming hosts. The breakfast was spectacular with homemade jams and local bread. Sobia itself is a great spot to explore the area. There a lots of hiking and cycling routes but also the nicest beaches are relatively close. I highly recommend this place, especially for families who want to escape the busy and touristy spots in the Algarve.

Very good reception on the part of the host! Generous person who made us available to small snacks, all homemade. Local liquor bottles were also available.

I have not yet stayed here but I know of friends that have and by sounds its a fantastic place to stay and in near future myself and my husband may just book here as the area is fantastic its quiet and nice people around. If you drive then you are two hours away from most places so go into the busy and come out to the quiet. My mum and friends live over here and live saboia too. And heard by my friend @ sue snowdon just how lovely these people are and there cooking is fantastic.
