I booked a single room one night on Expedia. Com because I was going to participate in Piodao Trail. Due to a change of Weather conditions, — raining, storms and snow-, I called the manager of Quinta da Palmeira to ask him about roads. He said that it wasn't snowing but the organizers of the race advised me about the dangerous access between Arganil and Piodao. I decided to cancel my booked and I called them more than 10 times, but they didn't answer. In fact they didn't want… to return me the money. It was a non refund offer, but more important than business is take care of your customers. Thanks Expedia team to resolve that issue and give me a human solution understanding my situation.

Great cozy spot. Design and quality materials in the common spaces and rooms alike. Outdoor space well laid out for accessibility and privacy balance, with beautiful landscapes and surprisingly calm, thoughtfully integrated with existing local area. Ana and Jack are superb hosts, and have 2 lovely kids that are a joy to be around, and welcomed our son of similar age from the start.
