Old style European. Rooms were clean but reception below stank of dog; there are two dogs. The bathrooms were okay but could do with renovation. Receptionist was helpful but her English and German were rudimentary.

I believe the hotel is from 1958, and it seems the interior including the rooms also are from this year. It has truly stopped in time. The only reason I'm not giving a lower mark is because even if it was old, everything worked, there was Wi-Fi, and even though we never ate at the hotel, other reviews say the food is good.
