There's a creepy snoon out there, it's clean inside. In the room without frills, but as a place to stay for a budget tourist will go. Definitely better than a hostel. It's a hearty breakfast. Convenient transport interchange. It's 20 minutes by tram to the centre.

The Windows did not close, we slept in the drafts especially since there were no shutters. A lot of things were broken (curtains, coat racks, shower doors…). Very unwelcoming from the outside, this hotel is not really to advise.

More could be done to help this hotel, it was clean enough but could have done with a helping hand. Bed mattress though had mattress protectors on great …. But mattress rock hard … windows filthy everything basic which reflects in the price … could do better with just adding little bits. Like water and glasses …. Wouldn't take much to sort this out. Could be a good mine.

The most miserable hotel I have ever experienced! A "star" is still too high rated.

Bette sucks (hard mattresses). WLAN always interrupts. Eating in the morning is not the best choice. Staff cannot be a real English.

Hotel is OK, byť nothing special (except great swedish tables! )

Okay for short stays or if you just need a bed to crash. The room was tidy, towels and bedsheets clean, the bathroom and WC (strangely, they were separate) renovated, breakfast tasty and the staff friendly. The rest lives up to the communist era standards (everything looking like it's going to fall apart, poor lighting, creaky floors, rickety windows…) but hey, that was within expectations.

This hotel is perfect for roughing it out. The hotel needs work done and better amenities besides clean towels every two days.

Maybe not the best looking or modern hotel but it was safe, adequate and friendly. The price per night is excellent and included a good breakfast. Very convenient next to a Tesco superstore and next to a five star spa hotel for a nice afternoon treat. Only a short ride on bus or taxi (very cheap) to Rynek Glowny. Overall value for money is excellent.

Most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. No, I cant write any good or little good thing about this hotel. Wee booked room, but when we saw the room we booked room in another hotel for quick. Hotel Start is a Hostel but even among those in the foulest. Dirty, ugly… ahhh. Avoid if you can. 2 star hotel? its a JOKE!

Facilities adequate for the low price, very (! ) friendly staff.
