The bedroom area was clean, but the washrooms were cramped and not in the best condition. The toilets also do not flush very well. The sound from the nearby areas is very loud at night and makes it difficult to sleep. One of the rooms we were given had a very unpleasant smell and we had to ask for a new room. The staff were friendly and helped carry some luggage up the stairs when we arrived. Breakfast was included and was decent as there were different choices. The location is not bad as it is close to the SM mall, but the surrounding area is a bit frightening at night.
Stayed here last 8-14-18. Small oldies but well managed hotel. Dont stay in room 209-Deluxe. The Restroom ceiling is leaking. Slightly clogged drainage. Aircon not so cold. Bed is good. They have HC shower, Wifi, LCD TV with Cable, Cabinet, Toiletries. I also noticed their two doors in the reception, very hard to open, you need to push/pull it so hard to open. Room is inclusive of buffet breakfast. Great staffs. Hotel is a 2 minute walk to the Bacolod Plaza and 10-15 minute walk to the famous Manokan Country where they served Bacolod Chicken Inasal and also near SM City Bacolod. Easy public transportation. I loved the hotel location. You get what you pay for.

Small hotel with quite a good value. We spent less than 3K (got a site deal) for our 2-day stay in Bacolod. And it was inclusive of breakfast buffet (nothing fancy, but adequate). Service was good too. The Suites at Calle Nueva is located near SM and is accessible to all other city destinations like the San Sebastian Cathedral, Lagoon Park, Negros Museum, among others. The room is nice and complete with room service, Wi-Fi, ample storage space (cabinets), safety box, toiletries, towels, hot and cold shower and even slippers (although they were slippery). They also have a lounge were you can hang out. Definitely bang for your buck!
