Its very nice view the room are big and at night you can eat nice food and the stuff very helpful.

Nice staff and amenities. A strategic place for conferences/workshops. However, the rooms are outdated and I saw bugs crawling over. Seems it needs for a renovation.

Is this place still open. Used to be the best it now… I don't know what concept they follow. It is like they don't follow any concept at all.

The view was scenic. The pool was good. But the hotel really needs a lot of repair and renovation.

Nature lover or not, you will enjoy the serenity of the sea & the green mountains that surrounds it. You can just watch it in the room's terrace or in Verandah Cafe while you are dining with your special someone — be it a friend, a lover or a family. You can also have a Romantic Dinner & drink wine while listening to the music as you enjoy watching the beauty of the nature. So what are you waiting for?

Clean shower room and comfort room. Food is on time. Service crew are hospitable. Will room is not insulated. That's why you can hear noise outside.

I rented the Grand Villa and I must say that it was outstanding… the air conditioning was awesome and the accommodation was excellent… friendly and helpful staff on hand to take care of your needs… Breakfast was delicious … not far from downtown tacloban where shopping is at your feet… I would definitely recommend it to anyone and I will stay at that resort again…

If you want to stay here just to see a wonderful view, then find this place. But if to stay for a conducive room like a 5-star hotel, then this is not that much…

Good price for rooms, are a little dated. Drain was slow in bungalow I stayed at. Free breakfast with upgraded rooms. Has free Wi-Fi for guests. Ac is barely adequate for the bungalows. Left for the day, and when I returned, AC was turned off by room service. Took most of the night to get the room somewhat comfortable.

Even though the remnants of the destruction during the typhoon were still evident but the place is still beautiful. The view is breathtaking. The room that we had was quite good and the staff were very accommodating. The resort is really a good place to unwind. I wanted to go back there again.

Nice and quiet place to stay with a new view and great accomodations. Located at the center of the city and is accessible to everyone. The hotel is near all major establishments around the city.

Definitely a former glory situation, but it's the only resort in Tacloban with a pool. They never really recovered fully from the big Typhoon damage. The restaurant can be great, but on the night of my big family dinner the pork was dry and tough… the day before it had been Delicious. The chicken was great. The included breakfast buffet is quite big and nice. My extended family from the province thought the place was heaven, so that's all that matters to me.

Very poor customer service, I swear. Kept giving us the wrong info and insisting the twin room and extra bed. Very outdated room features and amenities. A lot of mosquitos in their cottage room too. If it werent for the pool we wouldnt have chosen to stay there. But then again, the water pool wasnt clean. So it wasnt totally a good stay for us.

One of the hotels that was strongly devastated by the Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan), if you visit the place the remnants from the typhoon are apparent to its dilapidated roof, ceiling, doors, corners and other portions of the hotel. However these portions are starting to be replaced and undergoing a renovation and becoming better. The breakfast is in buffet and free for hotel guests.

The place is good. It's near the sea where you can do wake boarding and other stuffs. The view of sunrise near the beach is great. The park is popular also for people jogging in the morning.

This hotel has a super location with glorious sea views, fresh air and two swimming pools and pool bar. I have not stayed here after the massive typhoon of 2013, but I know it took a pummeling as you can still see some wind and water damage here and there. In my opinion this hotel was once impressive but now it looks tired and worn. Food is average and the service is below average.

What I really count the most on my stay at Leyte Park is the superb view of the beach wherein we can perfectly witnesses sunrise & sunset. And the wide swimming pool that my grandaughter fondly visited first. What I feel about the resort is the close to nature ambience! Just a piece of advice to kindly improve some of the hotel's facilities and appliances. Also trained polites and hardworking staff and personnels who can immediately and warmly delivers good services to customers.

Nice place to jog. I don't think this place still works as it was before. After the Yolanda storm I believe it was opened to public for jogging, walk and picnics. The spa don't exist anymore and I didn't get the chance to see the hotel it its still functional.

I love the scenery! It's so refreshing. And the pool! I just hate that it opens too late and closes pretty early. The Veranda Restaurant is an amazing place to chill at and even study. The rooms are fine, hot water, and air con.

Good place to rest and relax plus with a Historical value. A good place also to stay if you are into walking or jogging early in the morning or late in the afternoon…

The hotel is nice… but then there is this smell that I cannot understand and it annoys me… whenever I passed the lobby going to my room its scary… the hotel is so big and the rooms are big but I guess it needs total renovation after Yolanda… and one more suggestion… it would be nice if the management can do some landscaping at the back portion of the hotel especially near the pools where weeds started to grow tall. Still… thank u Leyte Park Hotel…

This place used to be five star hotel, but at some point it's lost its luster. The rooms are a bit old and would do a lot better with some renovations. The property is visibly falling apart here and there, and might need some cleaning. The restaurant at the hotel has okay food—not particularly great or bad. Overall, it's not too bad a stay, but it's a bit pricier compared to other hotels in the area—well, I guess this one has a view of the ocean, but that's about it anymore.

The place is totally beaten down. I must say that they need to improve their facilities in order to improve their quality of customer service. Their swimming pool floor needs to be rehabilitated too. I swear, we had an outing once and we suffered bruises because their swimming pool floor is not well polished. The food is kinda expensive too and they are not so tasty. If you guys will visit this place, just bring your preferred food and pay the corkage fee instead.

Great view but… incompetent staff. Shabby place. The rooms reek of urine. Once, a centipede emerged out of the bathtub.

The place is located uphill so you need to ride a tricycle if you don't have your own transportation. The place has a great view of the sea and the city.

Beautiful resort. A little expensive though. The beach is not that good due to the partially polluted waters.

We stayed for 3nights at one of their mini villa. The room was big, 2 queen beds, no fridge, the phone wasn't working. We complained about it everyday for 2 days and nobody came to fix it so we just stopped. Nobody cleans the room unless u ask them. Everything has a price. We payed for 2 adults and 1 child and only the 2 adults were with free breakfast on the first day and they made us pay for my 6 year olds breakfast 250php. I complained the next day and they considered him. They make us pay for water bottles. No free water bottles… they make us pay if we drink under their cot for 1000 even if we didn't have a choice because it was drizzling… not even considering that we rented 6 rooms… the whole place is 40%renovated after Yolanda. Servers were nice but lazy…

3rd floor is the best to check-in try it out sometimes and love the pool night swimming.

Small yet cozy hotel at the middle of the city. Parking space is very limited though. You have to scour open parking spaces along parking zones within the block.

Damages from the onslaught of Typhoon Haiyan are still visible and the facilities are quite old already. Nonetheless, most of the rooms comfortable and has great view of the sea.

The Fyzz Bar serves one of the best halo-halo! And take a dip at the roofdeck pool, or just simply relax in the comfort of your room, with free Wi-Fi. The hotel serves free breakfast. The hotel is located near restaurants, and is within the city.

Was Leyte Park Hotel damaged by Yolanda? Were there casualties inside the hotel? A colleague said that the hotel is no longer operating and its buildings were brought down by the typhoon. Thank you!
