During a week-long stay at Joval Homestay, never have I felt away from home. Kuya Reggie and his family always attended to their guests with a warm welcome and a hope of seeing them again in the near future. I, myself, never felt that I was JUST a common tourist. With all of kuya Reggie's stories about visiting Coron, you will certainly want to explore the what Coron has to offer! I highly recommend them for a job well done!

Very cheap little hostel with comfy beds, but only fans in the dorms.

Nice stay, clean dormitory rooms and shared bathroom. one of the most affordable accommodation in Coron town. Owner has useful contacts and can arrange bookings for boat tours and boat to El Nido and transport to airport.

Will absolutely recommend this homestay! They are so friendly and helpful and the hostel is very nice and clean. Wifi is very good as long as there's not a lot of people connected at the same time (compared to most places in Palawan). It's a 10 minute walk from the centre but it's a nice walk, always smiling people saying hello to you on the street. If you don't want to walk it's only 10P each person with a tricycle. You can also book tours from here. Thank you very much!

Whatever you do in Coron, stay here! The owners are so lovely! They woke up at 3am specially to let my friend and I in. Their son in law Reggie is also fabulous! He showed my friend and I around Coron for a cheap price and spent a lot of his free time with us going out for food and drinks. He also took us to the ferry terminal for free at the end of our stay. It was such a wonderful time here with a chance to experience local hospitality. The only complaint would be that the rooms can get really hot with only a fan but it’s Asia and that’s to be expected. For the price, there’s no complaints whatsoever. Staying here made my trip to Coron. I would highly recommend anyone to do the same.

What a genuinely nice place. Val (one of the owners of the house) is such a gentle soul and has been so helpful in so many ways. This place really feels homie. Basic (don't expect luxury) but cosy.

Reggie and family looked after us so well, ensuring we had an unreal experience lovely people, lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend staying here if you want to experience Coron in its true beauty! Thank you so much joval's homestay!

Hotel owners, val and jovy baliwis, ensure guests feel the warmth of how it is to live in coron palawan, a home away from home, they make everyday a safe and pleasant day for guests to roam around the municipality (land and sea) and go back to their respective rooms with all their things intact, the place and rooms are tidy, in order, neat, and clean, water is sufficient, electricity is in place, the friendly owners are accessible anytime you have something to inquire about the place from them, our 3-days stay was awesome because they are proactive in the needs of their guests, I highly recommend joval homestay to all travellers who are eager and excited to explore coron palawan.
