We have stayed here several times. Close to US Embassy. So there's that. Close to Robinson Mall, Riza Park, Roxas Blvd. Etc. Older rooms need remodeling. They change extra for the rooms that are already redone. Good breakfast buffet. Bar is open late. Casino on site. Staff are friendly. But it's cheaper to upgrade online than in person. So even if you are already checked in change and additional nights should be done online. I give it 3 1/2 Stars. Could be a 4 Star if they fixed up the fitness center and pool area. Lobby is nice especially at Christmas time.

Horrible! Staff not friendly, hotel in works for several quarters, disgusting swimming pool and very cold room 17 ° env.

I have been here lots of times. The service is great. Lots of good and hospitable staffs. Delicious food.

The facilities are ok, and there's definitely a lot of room for improvement. Though I could definitely say the staff are nice and courteous. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous despite the fact that the selection is few.

The sink wouldn't drain, the mini fridge didn't work, and the bedroom phone was broken. The staff was initially great. I left early and my fiance stayed for an extra day. As soon as I left, they treated her with disrespect. She was ignored when she went to breakfast without me. They wouldn't return the deposit to her when she tried to check out because I wasn't there (even though the room was booked using her card) I am extremely upset with this place and the way they treated my fiance. Do not go here!

I have been staying at The Manila Pavilion since 1992. It is always pleasant. I was in room 1730 and there is an old bed in the room. Granted, I was given a special rate. The website reservation system did not work. When checking out, I called Guest Services a number of times and there was no answer.

People were nice and polite. Service was great! I only thought we were paying for a dofferent type of room. There must have been an understanding.

Definitely not a four-star hotel. The receptionists are not friendly nor are they helpful. The amenities are outdated and poorly maintained. The gym is a joke. Old machinery and torn seats. The swimming pool is out of service. And the moribund casino is poorly equipped with only a few slot machines. It's simply a place screaming for renovation. Too bad I reserved for 4 days. I trusted the positive reviews. My mistake. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Great breakfast options. Underwent construction during our event so had to intermittently tell them to stall work. Nice, attentive staff. Not perfect, but pleasant enough. Hopefully renovations finish soon. Saw a cockroach scurry across the restaurant floor though. Rooms are pleasant.

Overall good experience. Nice front desk experience. Clean and neat. Little bit lack of bathroom amenities. Food is good. All non smoking rooms. Haven't found safe lockers in rooms even in suit.

2nd time here and I'll not go back. Service has gone down hill. My main problem was that the goats next to me were smoking and the hotel would move me. Also my package had a food a beverage discount that they didn't honor. They are making updates so the business center was closed. The desk said to use the printer in the Ambassador Lounge. Upon entry I was told I couldn't use the lounge without a 250 peso fee. Checking in and out was a hassle. This is the most disappointed I've been at a waterfront property and they have lost my business for life.

Though the building is old, the place is updated, clean, good location, great amenities inside the room. There was a pool but it was out of service. Darn it! Oh well. I still give this place 5 star because of the great customer service experience I had.

It's clean and very friendly people.

We had our corporate training event at this hotel, occupying 5 rooms. Some of the participants were transferred from one room to another, which made it very inconvenient to the trainers and trainees. Also, the food served were below our expectations. In one instance, the doughnuts served for snacks was not enjoyable because it tasted like it was bought from a neighborhood corner bakery.

Poor service. The staff during my stay looked friendly enough but they served us very slow, like a simple request for blankets and toilet paper reached up to an hour of waiting time and you should also improve your security.

Good morning! We just left Manila Pavilion Casino and we were very disappointed (enraged even) with the service of one of your employee showed. He is situated at the Bar on the third floor of the Pavilion Casino. His name is King, unfortunately for him I was not able to see his last name. He was very rude and impolite to us. We would never expect that a well-known Hotel & Casino like yours will hire someone who is indecent as him. The incident went like this, my mom (a patron) and the other customers were asking if the coffee is already available. At first, he was answering the customers. My mom was really sleepy because it was already 2 or 3 in the morning (nonetheless it was really late), so she asked him nicely for the third time. He was in the counter looking at the computer. Ignoring my mother who has to say "excuse me", just for him to respond to her question. Here's the thing that really angered us, when he was giving coffee to my mother he impolitely or rudely shove the coffee tray towards my mother. MIND YOU, my mother is already a senior citizen. As an employee who serves customer on a daily basis, it is already in your job description that you would have to deal with customer's who are importunate, annoying, rude or whatsoever. You as an employee must always serve the customer with a smile, you as an employee, must handle the situation and deal with it calmly. You should not and must not show any attitude that may lead to the dissatisfaction of your customers.

Visited the place last Feb. 17 2014 with my sweet buddy Richard. Nice Ambience and friendly folks except for the ones preparing the food. The food is awesome and we had a great deal of fun with dessert ;-). My companion enjoyed the food and is already suggestion that we visit the place again. Nice experience!

It' s got the vibe that it use to be illustrious and wonderful but now its just a little old but still a wonderfuk place to spend ur weekends… and if you're a senior citizen and love to gamble or play Bingo then this might just be the place… the Cakes at Patisserie on their groundfloor are good.
