Bathala Resort

A luxurious bohemian, tropical, and tranquil atmosphere at this resort. The pool was very well maintained and the happy hour (2 for one drinks) at the pool bar had me smiling. The staff were incredibly friendly and really made the stay memorable. Shout out to Chris brown and Jenny from the block :)
Through the resort you can plan excursions. Would highly recommend the countryside tour via private tuktuk and recommend FERNANDO. He made my friend and I’s adventure! Very kind and helpful demeanour.
Cant speak largely on behalf of the food, as I often ate elsewhere. But the one breakfast I had was enjoyable.

Such a warm and cozy place to stay. Just a perfect escape for your dream vacation. Very minimalist, yet indulge with elegance. We’ll surely come back!

The place is extraordinary, just around the corner easy to find very convenient and relaxed ambiance. Perfect place if you are looking for a quiet and sophisticated place to stay. Especially when you are just around Panglao, for me it’s definitely an 11/10 🫶🏻

Location is beyond great. Very quiet street, away from the busy main road yet it is not far (if that makes sense). Very close to alona beach — like 5 mins walk. Plenty of shops nearby.
Very nice pool, though I wish it could be a bit deep and have a space for lap swimming.
Very spacious rooms — like big rooms and shower/toilet. I stayed at a triple room but can fit more.
Staffs are friendly and attentive.
The only thing that I wish staffs check regularly is the water. There is no neutral water temperature or cold shower, water coming out from the sink, shower and bidet is hot 🤣. But nonetheless, it’s a 5 star for me. Will definitely be staying here again.

The hotel is a real gem. It is quiet but only 3min walking distance from nightlife. The rooms are super clean, spacious and with a cute usable balcony / seating area. Everything is new / very well maintained.
The staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. The hotel has a gorgeous pool setup with lots of shade which make it actually usable (and it is used).
The food is excellent and complemented with a good selection of cocktails. At Happy Hour people gather at the cozy bar.
Absolutely lovely for couples and families.

We had a wonderful time at the Bathala Resort. The room was super comfortable and spacious, the pool and the bar area is beautiful. The staff were extremely accommodating and nice and organised anything we wanted for us (ferry tickets, tours, motorcycles etc). 100% recommend, a must stay in Panglao!

We stayed at Bathala for the last few days of our trip to Bohol, and our only regret is not staying here for the entire trip. The atmosphere is calm and very relaxing, and the rooms are surrounded by beautiful greenery. The room was spacious and exactly as shown on the website. The pool and swim-up bar were also fantastic.
But the real highlight was the staff. From check in at reception to the team at the bar and restaurant, everyone we met at Bathala was so friendly and welcoming. We truly felt looked after throughout our stay.

We stayed here for 7 nights and honestly had such an amazing time! From the moment we arrived, everyone was so welcoming and friendly it really made us feel at home straight away. The staff were incredible; they cleaned our room every day and were always smiling and happy to help with anything we needed.
The owners are absolutely lovely too you can tell they really care about their guests and take pride in making sure everyone has a great stay. The resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very well looked after. Everything was spotless and comfortable, and the atmosphere was just so relaxed.
We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and can’t thank the team enough for their kindness and hospitality. We’ll definitely be coming back already looking forward to our next visit! 😊🌴

We had the best time at Bathala! The place is gorgeous and the staff are amazing! Christian and Susan made our days — they were so much fun! Amazing cocktails too!

Staying in this resort is one of the best experiences in my trip. The room is big, tidy and clean, including a nice balcony, and the pool is amazing as well. Staffs here are the best, they are super nice and welcoming. I would definitely come back again and I highly recommend it.

Bathala offers spacious, well designed rooms. The double balcony was perfect. The design is perfect, including the lighting and high ceilings. The staff is very enthusiastic and welcoming. There was drilling construction next to our room, which shook our room. Thankfully, it is not too loud by the pool. The paid breakfast was good with large portions and reasonably priced. I would recommend it!

What a beautiful place to stay. Lovely pool and well maintained gardens give it a tropical feel. Relaxed atmosphere in a quiet location makes a perfect getaway. All the staff were very friendly and the bar staff are an asset to the company. The wine cellar was excellent just a pity there weren’t any cold meats and cheese to accompany some lovely reds.

Great hotel, located a few minutes walk to the beach. Staff were all so friendly and attentive, catering to every need. Reception team organised tours and transfers for us, dinner reservations and every request. Value for.
Money of tours was excellent and better pricing than those being offered on Alona Beach.
The resort itself is small but a very nice atmosphere and clean.
Big shout out to Jenny and Susen who were always so happy and positive working on the bar and breakfast. They were so welcoming and accommodating. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely the nicest place we've stayed in the Philippines. The rooms are spotless clean, the pool is fantastic, and the service is top notch. It was quiet with very comfortable beds. The location is easy access to most of the town. Would absolutely stay here again. The play area for kids was great for our toddler daughter.

I was very satisfied with the hotel in Batala Resort :) The room was in great condition, the pool and the overall atmosphere were the best! The breakfast was delicious ❤️ And the location was also satisfactory because it was within walking distance from the city! I highly recommend you for Bohol cost-effective accommodation!
