Hotel Hacienda Plaza de Armas stands on the historical main square in Puno, offering guests functional amenities and dedicated hospitality services. Decent budget hotel but uncomfortable in a few ways. Bad soundproofing on the rooms, so if you're opposite the bathroom as I was, you hear everything that goes on in there. Water didn't go hot so had a cold shower, no toilet seats in either of the bathrooms I went to, curtains very thin so along with the noise I was woken up early by the light from other people leaving early. Finally there was only one plug socket in my room, almost at ceiling height. Luckily I have a long USB cable but it was quite inconvenient and I could only charge one item overnight.
Room was clean and bed was comfy. For the price, you can't argue but the experience had various flaws, for me.
