Chévere, stylish, and great breakfast.

This is truly a home away from home. From the excellent and filling breakfast to the kind, courteous staff and clean rooms, Kaclla is everything you want and need in a hostel. They can arrange rides from the airport and have plenty of suggestions for places to see and things to go. Will certainly be staying here next time I am in Lima.

Very homie feels. Feels safe too. Awesome front desk people. It's loud at night with so many people in and out, but put in the head phones and no prob. A cute dog sleeps on the couch all day when he's not bark8ng at passing dogs. They have 2 guitars too. That was a big win for me :D.

Accomodating and in a quiet neighborhood in between Barranco and Miraflores. Cheap rates and very safe. Mens showers weren't all too warm but besides that everything was fine.

Excellent care. Excellent people.

Top Hostel! Clean, hot water, nice staff, class breakfast and there is a dog that will pay attention to everyone.

This hostel was great! Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen. The homemade bread peanut butter and Peruvian caramel compliment the yummy quinoa and grain cereal and yogurt with fresh fruit. Coffee could have been better but the tea was more my morning style. Look at their website for discounted prices! Its a light jog to the point (toward the coast a couple blocks then to the right a handful more) where there is morning aerobics for free, for all (it was a perfect place for my yoga and morning jog) watching the fog lift off the coast in the morning then returning for their breakfast was second only to the awesome hostel dog “Pisco” Pisco is a Peruvian Inka orchid — hairless dog. He isn’t friendly at first but if you’re there for a little while he warms up and turns into the biggest lover dog. This hostel brought together people from all over the world and the group of strangers I met there have become incredible friends and been traveling together for three weeks now! Free daily tours (plus tips) to two different locations. Located in a great place walking distance to several parks with a solid nightlife that one of the hostel employees took our group to. Plus only a short bus ride to the plaza or Barranco which is a lively charming little district.

I didkt like the breakfast too much. (No huevos) but nice people and good prices. All together a pleasent experience.

This could be my new favourite hostel in Lima. Comfortable, super-clean, great breakfast. A great night's sleep and a good place to meet people.

The Kaclla hostel is located in the district of Miraflores (along with many others). What we particularly enjoyed was the environment & design of the hostel. The common areas are small but well organized. Big up for Pisco — the Kaccla dog from the logo — which is strange looking (no hair) but adorable.

The location and cleanliness were great! That said, I slept horribly. Manuel played weird dance music until 9 PM, a loud party with a small child checked in late, and the night staff made noise for hours outside our door. I was exhausted after 20 hours of travel and just wanted to sleep; it was nearly impossible.

Awesome hostel! Stayed there for 6 nights and had a great experience. I didn’t arrive till around around 11pm and that was no problem, as I’ve read other hostels charge you for arriving to late. I was showed around the place as to where the kitchen, bath, and shower was. They serve a nice breakfast and also have fresh fruits to go with it. The facilities were always clean. They provided a taxi when I needed one, but mostly you can just wave one down. There is also a lot of …restaurants and other places to go right in the area. It’s just a couple blocks from the coast and also near Larcomar (shopping & food). Also felt like a very safe neighborhood. And finally, the staff was very friendly and Pisco did a great job of running the place! I definitely recommend staying here and will be staying here again when I come back to Lima if I need a place to crash! Thanks for your kind hospitality!

I loved this hostel! There were amazing vibes and it is a social place to meet people. The hostel is very clean. Breakfast was AMAZING. Great location. The dog was very friendly. (it's a special breed of bald dog so it probably doesn't cause allergies for people who have them). Overall it was one of me favourite hostels :)

Lovely hostel!
We were on a trip through Peru. There we were in many different hostels but only here we felt like home. A big plus was the delicious breakfast, because you can prepare your own cereal and squeeze orange juice as much as you want. Also we loved the cosy beds and the bathrooms which were very clean. Furthermore, the staff is very attentive and helpful. …
Because of that (and because of the sweet peruvian hairless dog of course *. *) we were three times within 5 weeks in Kaclla Hostel and every time we were sad to have to go. Special thanks to Marcial Solis, who helped me to send my postcards at the last moment before our flight went back to germany. Thanks for the nice time!

Overrated. The layout is a little odd and the staff are, or seem to be, overrun to help you out. Also, my partner and I work in hotels and were disappointed with the check-in process. Long! No towels and toilets are near the kitchen and the eating area. It’s not terrible but it’s way overpriced. Wouldn’t recommend.

Cool spot. Only problem was the owners. They constantly have an attitude and change their prices when you go to pay. They have discounts that are awesome but then don't add them. You have to fight in order to get what you were promised. Without speaking Spanish, it made it difficult for me to defend myself. The rooms are clean and bathrooms are nice. Staff is cool too, the owners though, not a good situation.

Really good hostel. Nice building on a nice street. Quiet comfortable atmosphere. Clean bathrooms and well equipped rooms with lamps, shelves and sockets at each bed. Very good breakfast also. Would definitely stay again.

I love Pisco! He is such a sweet dog despite his weird baldness. The place is so romantic in the evenings and we had the whole kitchen to ourselves. Healthiest free breakfast we had in Peru. Lovely staff but it's all about Pisco, such a sweetheart.

Such a lovely hostel, tucked away from too much hustle and bustle, very chill atmosphere, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, lovely staff, beautiful courtyard/breakfast area and the best place I found the relax in Lima! Also, great location! And a very safe neighbourhood. The two absolute BEST aspects of this hostel are the Kacllas (Peruvian hairless dogs) that live there and the breakfast. But seriously though, you need to do yourself a favour and eat breakfast here, ever if you don't stay in the hostel. It is SO worth it.

Great staff, atmosphere, facilities and location! Can't say enough, loved it.

This hostel was surface level nice. It looked really nice but the more time I spent in it the worse it got. Starting with the worst, there were termites in my bedding. I tried to explain to the people who worked there that there were termites and they just said they did not see any and brushed it off. I was leaving that day so I wasn't going freak out about it. Also, we came back to the hostel and the cleaning lady was waxing the floor which made them slippery and dangerous and also left an eye watering smell of chemicals throughout the hostel. No one could stand to be inside. Lastly, you had to be buzzed in and out and the person working the front desk was rarely there so you had to wait an annoying amount of time to get in and leave. I would not stay here again.

Nice place more a hotel then a hostel with little to no socializing area. Staff are really friendly except for the bald guy with a beard who seemed to be on his period the whole time.

My favorite hostel in Lima. Excellent prices for economizing travelers, comfortable beds, lovely little courtyard full of plants, and real coffee (not instant). In the morning, you claim your breakfast at the front desk, in a burlap bag tied with a red bow. They include 2 typical white rolls, jelly and peanut butter in tiny cups, and a cereal mix that is really nice — quinoa puffs and granola and peanuts and raisins. And did I mention that the coffee is real? The staff are not only professional and helpful, they are kind and friendly. I spent 4 nights there and will definitely stay there again next time.
