Por suerte estuve una noche nada más, no me gustó para nada, olor a viejo y mucho escandalo hasta las 3 am, entraba y salía cualquiera en la habitación. lo destacable es que está ubicado en la plaza de miraflores y es una zona muy movida y entretenida para pasear a la noche.

Good vibes, very clean dorms and fun lounge areas. This is located right in the middle of Miraflores allowing for easy travel to a lot of fun restaurants and only 6 or so blocks from coastal views. The showers were hot as well which can make all the difference in a day of travel.

Great location (if you don't mind a little noise coming from the street) cozy place and really wonderful staff!

Comfortable beds, outlets that work, the Wi-Fi is quite decent, and the staff are helpful.

Almost excellent. One bathroom hasn't hot water. Service perfect!.

Beers are bloody expensive! The place needs a bit of a face lift, it's not changed in 7 years, but apart from that the staff are nice and a nice vibe being able to put your own tunes on in the bar.

Great hostel in an awesome location! Best Wi-Fi and showers we had in South America so far, friendly and helpful staff, and big dorms! Definitely a good place to stay at during a stay in Lima ^_^

A perfect place to stay and meet new people, the attention is very good and the sector in which it is located is very central.

Other than the noise all was excellent. I stayed in Room 6. It was a little noisy in January when I had to keep the window open. This may not be an issue when is not summer. Also, the noise may not be a problem in other rooms. The hostel is safe. Excellent located, clean and the staff is very helpful. It offers excellent value given the price.

Excellent Hostel located in the center of Miraflores. Super recommended.

Hotel is well located, you can easily get food and there are some shops very close. Breakfast is not very good and bedrooms are small.

I love staying here. I've been to Lima a couple of times and I always return to the Flying Dog. The service and price are very comfortable. And all the staff are always available to help. Recommended!

Generally good hostel. Helpful staff, breakfast was okay. Can be a bit noisy depending on which rooms you get, but not too bad.

Helpful and friendly staff, though rather a place for party people who care less about clean facilities and noise during the night. The kitchen was not very clean either. The double was ok. Breakfast is literally nothing and served downstairs in in one of the cafes depending on the time. The service in Cafe de La Paz was terribly slow (45min for two slices of toast! ). Overall a pretty run down place in a superb location.

Its good for a hostel, however with no fans in the rooms it gets quite hot at night.

Room walls could be repainted more frequently. Hotel is well located in the heart of Miraflores neighborhood, but because of this and the bad room windows, it is almost impossible to sleep. Lima is very crowd, and the heavy traffic goes all night long.

Good hostel in a great location. Internet is hit or miss though.

Clean room, helpful staff, and a fair breakfast served buffet style, generally including ham, cheese, boiled eggs, coffee, yogurt, and fruit. All at a good price, in the lovely Miraflores neighborhood.

Decent hostel. Bit loud because of the bar. Hard to find because there are three same name hostels in the same area.

Because the service was horrible, my friend left a gift on the front desk to pick up and they STOLE IT. That's unacceptable! Please If safety is something you are looking for don't stay in this place. I'm really disappointed how they did that. I would give zero stars if I could.

Well located but very dirty and noisy. Many guests make noise until high hours of the madrudada in the dining room and is listen to all in the rooms. The baths and dirty rooms.
Much care with the reservations! An of the nights (11 pm), to the reach of a trip from Iquitos, had lost our book and not had room for us. We had to find another hotel at our expense. The Flying personnel not helped us at all and is desentendio of us without admitting any liability
Not advise this chain of hostels as to the minimum problem them is shirking of the traveller and not admit any responsibility.
Problems with reservations at the Flying Dog Hostel chain are common according to a taxi driver who helped us.

Decent hostel in a good location, and even let us bring in our own alcohol from outside, which most hostels don't. On the other hand, you had to walk way down the road to get your breakfast, and the bar was shut basically every day.
