Review of La Casa de Sebas 2*

At first the place looked like a really nice relax space. When we arrived there was no body at the reception, which happened all the time. One of the employees just said: you're room is over there, without showing us anything. Our room was a double and and was spacious but dirty. We had two different mattresses and the bedsheets did not fit. So every night I woke up finding myself sleeping on the mattress instead of the sheet. Not once in two weeks was our apartment cleaned by the employees. After a week I was the one who needed to ask if we could get new towels and bedsheets and that's the only thing we got. There were a lot of crickets and mosquitos. Every morning I swept the floor to clean out all the crickets. The first few days I did not do this but the dead crickets started to smell, so we cleaned the floors ourselfs with cleaning products we found. Another thing is breakfast, we were promised a American breakfast, but every morning we got the same to little pieces of bread with butter, cold water with instant coffee, and a glass of juice. I asked for thee for a few times but never got it. Not even when I asked the owner herself, she said she would bring it in a moment but never did. But the worst thing was when one of the employees came to lend money from us because she needed to pay for the electricity and the owner was on a vacation for a few days and did not leave her money. I had to wait for my 200 soles (55 euros) for 3 days. When The owner finally got back she did not say a word to us, let alone say thank you. The Wi-Fi was the worst, did not work at all. The place could be really nice if the employees paid more attention and cleaned the place properly, but I don't think that will ever happen. Do not stay here is my advice.
