Marys hostel was great, loved staying here albeit for a night. Super welcoming and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was to a good standard also.
Not sure why this place is rated so high, the water pump is so loud, all of the pans had rotting food in them so couldn’t use the kitchen, it’s up a dirt road and there are rough looking dogs roaming (I’m not usually bothered by dogs) the streets at night without streetlights. There was no power from the water in the shower and the water smelt of eggs when you turned on the shower.

Not bad at all, for the price you cannot complain. No ac just a fan so was a little hot during the day for us but not like we were spending much time there. Location is fine, block or so away from everything. Which is good because it’s quiet but close. When we checked in they didn’t really speak any English so it took a minute to get settled but it was fine and was a good funny moment.
I would stay here again.
