Nice practical hotel. Easy access. And everything you need for a night or two. Good breakfast, with excellent service (shout out to Harry).

Rooms were clean and comfortable, plenty of space. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Nice buffet breakfast. Great location, short walk to the centre.

The room was big and comfortable with space to store my things. The hostal had a balcony with a great view of the mountains and volcanoes where breakfast is served.

We had good experiences with this hotel. We arrived early morning from an overnight bus, and were allowed to check in then plus have a hot shower. They get plenty of points for that.

Stayed for 4 nights in a single room facing the Main Street.
Excellent location at the plaza. 1 min walk to Juanita museum. 5-10 min walk to Santa catalina monastery. 15 min walk to central market.

A very comfortable stay for two nights in Arequipa. Very affordable for the quality of the stay. Breakfast was nice. Excellent shower.

My girlfriend got sick on the last, right before we had to leave for Machu Picchu. Señor Gonzalo let us stay for the whole day so my girlfriend could sleep a few hours longer.

We recommend them because they are very friendly, responsible and have good cleaning service.

Really cute and inexpensive hostal. It's very well located, 10 to la plaza de las armas. There is a kitchen and a cute courtyard and Max, the owner, is very nice.

The staff are nice, the water are mostly hot, and the rooms are mostly clean. Note that if you ordered breakfast it is best to remind them in advance!

We stayed here for 1 night on a trip to Arequipa. You definitely get more than you pay for! Spacious, clean private bedrooms & private bathroom — definitely more of a hotel rather than a hostel.

Room and bed quite big and comfortable. Breakfast was very good & hosts were warm and friendly.

❗️Please go there at least for food. She cooks with love and the soup was the best in all Peru. Also the Main dish — wow wow wow! Accommodation nice as well. I can really recommend.

If you are hiking colca canion and are not in a rush, this is a really nice place to stay and spend the night.

I love this Hostel. Good breakfast not like others, spacious kitchen, free activities at weekends and good location close to everything. They also have a nice terrace.

The hotel has a unique and perfect façade. The reception totally cozy and staff with very good treatment. All rooms are very well lit and ventilated.

The hotel is located in a great neighborhood, walking distance to many restaurants, pharmacy. The staff are friendly, special Melanie, the lady behind counter, she is super sweet. I will be back.

Great place in a great location! Stayed here before and after our trip to Colca Canyon and couldn't be happier. Comfortable, clean and spacious rooms. The showers were hot and had a great pressure.

The staff here are all great. But Omar (I think that was his name; the gentleman that worked the front desk during the afternoon/evening) was amazing.

We had a great time at the Runcu Hostal in Arequipa! The hotel is just like 10 min away from the Plaza de Armas and in a save and nice area of Arequipa.

Really nice place! We prolonged our stay for five days. Really good price-performance ratio. Hilda is the nicest host we have stayed with since we started travelling.
