Miskiwasi Bed & Breakfast

Our experience staying at the Miskiwasi was, top to bottom, completely perfect. We came during the low season and were the only ones staying and were made to feel completely welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. This is a family run bed and breakfast and they take so much pride in their beautiful property. The property is just 2 blocks off the Plaza de Armas and is walkable to hot springs. We stayed for two nights and ate dinner there both nights, which was amazing. Miskiwasi is absolutely perfect and you will regret staying anywhere else! Also, special shout out to Pique (sp? ), the family's dog who is the absolute best boy in all of Peru!

Very clean, well decorated and quiet. I very much enjoyed my stay. Room is perfect for families. 3 minute walk to the plaza.

This has been our favourite stay in Peru. The room was huge with a separate living room. I think we got the largest room. The manager was very sweet. It's 3 blocks from the main square where you can get collectovos. It's close to the start of hikes to the tombs, Uyo Uyo, and the waterfalls. We also hiked to the hot springs. Nice garden to sit in. We ate supper there both evenings. It's on a dusty street, but the inside is spotless.

We had a wonderful time here. The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The cleanliness of the room was comparable to some 5-star hotels we have stayed in, just without the bells and whistles. The portable heater worked well and kept us warm.
The owners clearly take pride in what they do. They were always warm, polite, and welcoming, with a smile on their faces every time we saw them.
The hotel restaurant was excellent, tasty meals at a good price. No need to eat anywhere else.
It is also in a great location, only a few minutes' walk to the town centre.
Would happily stay again. A solid 10 out of 10 from us!

If you are looking for accomodation in the Colca Valley, this is your spot.
Away from the tourist area of Chivay, located a couple of blocks away from the palza de armas de yanque, this little bed and breakfast is the place to be.
Super clean rooms, very comfortable beds, good linen and very nice hot shower with all the nice amenities you get on a fancy hotel.
We got the big corner room (#5). Has a living room area and then the room with the bed.
They provided a heater, as at night sometimes can be a bit cold.
Breakfast was included and it was pretty tasty.
You can also eat lunch and/or dinner here.
We has all our dinners here, food was so delicious and homemade, that I felt like home. It was very comforting and very homey.
Miskiwaski is run by their owners, a local family from the area.
During our stay Paulina and Elar were our hosts, very helpful and they help us with our plans of exploring the Colca area.

Wi-Fi is poor.
Summary: It's a very sweet and small hotel, with much attention to detail.

We ended up staying here for 3 nights because we loved it so much. We had the HUUUUUUGE room (I think) with the huge double bed. It was great. The breakfast and the restaurant were all amazing too.
The owner is very very friendly and very service oriented. It's a wonderful quiet oasis and the yard is fantastic.

Believe all the positive reviews — this place is great value for money with nice rooms and good food and run by a helpful and welcoming host. Highly recommended.

What a lovely place on earth❤️This b&b is amazing, run by very friendly people who love what they do and put a lot of effort in mai g your stay here great. The rooms are wonderful, comfortable, have running hot water and even a tiny heater for some chilly nights. There is a beautiful garden as well. The food here was also amazing and very regional, I had the throat from here and it was great. Thank you so much for creating such a lovely place and offering this experience to other people!
