Pretty average place. The value is comparable to some other places in town. The bathrooms on the second level weren't that nice but there was hot water. The bathroom by the terrace looks nicer. My bedroom was a little on the dingy side but it was private. I found a bowl with some old food in it in my desk. The terrace is a nice place to chill out. The management was nice enough albeit the only time I really dealt with them was to pay my bill. I paid 25 Sol which wasn't outstanding but also not an absolute rip off. The location is convenient if you want to be close to the plaza de Armas.

Price: value for money in the area. A matrimonial with private bathroom, Wi-Fi, hot water was 55 suns in cash. If you pay by card you recharge 10%.
Quality: The cleanliness was very good from the start, I liked that and I took the room for 5 days. As one of the most economical rooms, the TV was not an LCD or plasma but it was the function of having cable for the moments of rest. It has hot water in the shower and in some rooms does not have hot water in the laundry, I recommend ordering the room to have it.
Location: Near the square, approximately 3 blocks, it seems more because the altitude tires you a bit. Half a block away is a very good pizzeria: Luigi's If you say that you go from the lodge they serve you better. The place I found quiet, my vehicle I left outside the hotel without any problems.
I would return again if I go to Huaraz, the owner is very friendly and tells you the straight things. You can recommend Tours and restaurants.

Unfriendliest stuff we met during our south American trip. One morning the lady who ownes the hotel even ignored us when we politely asked her for help (talking Spanish to her). Unbelievable. Tried to make us to pay for everYthing extra. Shared bathrooms were not cleaned once in 5 days! StaY somewhere else, there are better alternatives. Available“kitchen“ is a joke. Only reason for 1 star for the nice terrace on top.
