Sheraton Asuncion Hotel

Great hotel, amazing staff, very comfortable rooms and very conveniently located between 2 shopping malls with dozens of restaurants and shops. The gym is small though, so is the pool so dont bother to pack for them. Service is exceptional!

I did not stay here but the hotel is at least temporarily closed (see photos), but looks like the management of this hotel did not take 1 minute to have their status updated here, so now a user will do that for them.

I made a reservation on December 1st, 2024. The hotel cancelled my reservation on December 10th, due to renovations. I was offered to switch hotels for a daily rate of $80.00 + 10% tax. But because I used points, it would’ve cost me more money. The hotel should’ve honored my reservation or arranged a hotel free of charge. The didn’t honored the Bonvoy Elite Reservation Guarantee and left me scrambling to find a hotel last minute. I will never make a reservation with this property again.

I recently had the pleasure of attending an event at this expansive event hall, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The venue comfortably accommodates up to 450 guests with tables, making it perfect for large gatherings. The lighting was exceptional, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhanced the overall experience.
One of the standout features of this hall is its impressive sound of the hall, which ensured that every word spoken and every note played was crystal clear without echoing. It truly elevated the event, allowing everyone to fully engage with the program.

Located a short drive from the airport and in the middle of the new part of the city. 10 mins drive to the old part. A good hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms, reasonable gym and good breakfast. There are shopping areas either side of the hotel for those items forgotten as well. All in all a good hotel.

Very good stay overall. The location is great, the staff is universally superb, the rooftop pool is fantastic, and the breakfast and bar facilities were top notch. The level of upkeep in the guest rooms is an area where they could stand to devote some attention; for example, you can get faint whiffs of smoking having been allowed in the past, recessed lighting is hanging out of its recess, and grout lines in the shower haven't been cleaned for many moons. But the rooms are plenty spacious, bed was very comfortable and clean, and the air conditioning and Wi-Fi were highly reliable. I'd stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 weeks for a work trip. The staff are all friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant servers! The beds are comfortable. It’s in an easy to access and safe area with many food options available nearby. It’s about 25 min away by Uber from the historical center, but is great for business meetings. I booked a conference room during my stay here and it was very easy. They also have laundry services on site and all of my clothes came back fresh the next day. The gym is small but has everything you need for a good workout. The walls are a bit thin and I’d recommend ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper, but besides that it was a perfect stay. My only recommendation is for them to add tea kettles to the room. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

On a Tuesday, which was not a holiday 1 November right behind the hotel they decided they were going to have some kind of music event that went on till past 10 PM at night. I am on the eighth floor of the hotel trying to get some sleep because I have to work in the morning. This is the most backwards lowlife hotel that I’ve ever stayed at in the Marriott chain. The next time I come to the city I will not be staying at a Marriott hotel. I have lifetime titanium status with Marriott. I will be leaving the appropriate feedback. The food here is comparable to street food too much salt no quality control and the staff has no common sense you’re supposed to be able to get a good night rest at a hotel it’s 10 o’clock at night and I’m not getting any rest. Definitely a dated hotel, who is management is only interested in making a book at the expense of the guess my recommendation find someplace else to stay.
