Veraguas Hotels

We visited this lovely hotel 2 weeks ago with a group of 10. We were welcomed from the moment we stepped on to the property. The staff is wonderful here including the restaurant.

Hotel Santa Catalina, recommended by San Blas Dreams, exceeded all expectations.

I've now stayed at four hotels in the Santiago area. All of them have pro's and con's.

The hotel itself was good. It has a very nice pool and a spacious pool area where you could easily spend the entire day. They offer food and drink service directly in the pool area, which was a plus.

We had a great time at Casa Morrillo, the staff are super friendly. Rooms overlooking the beach, simple but very good. They prepare good meals. We even had ceviche with the catch of the day.

This place is absolutely amazing! We slept and ate very well, everything was perfect. But amongst everything, the beach is breathtaking, we felt like in a postcard.

I would start my review by saying this hotel was an oasis of frindlyness. It has a beautiful oceanfront that sits on the edge of the jungle. It has a rustic beauty.

Nothing luxurious, but a perfectly acceptable room with on a beautiful, peaceful beach. Service is friendly, helpful and effective. The food at the restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced.

Our room was an individual rowhouse type room with parking beside. More of a "motel" than hotel. The room was basic but clean and inexpensive.

Villa Coco restaurant was a great surprise. One of the best vibes on Panamá with good service, staff aware of gluten free dishes and really good home cooking.

A roughly 6 hour drive from Panama City, 5 minute drive from the Santa Catalina town, 2 minute walk from a fabulous ice cream shop.

Experience of a lifetime! Yasmin and Ricardo were the best hosts ever! They take care of you no matter what happens! You stuck in San Francisco and no bus coming? They take care of you!

Fantastic accomodation. The owners and their son were super helpful with information on hiking, where to eat, & things to do in Santa Fe. The pool was great for relaxing in after a day of hiking.

You should add Santa Fe to your Panamá itinerary and plan to stay at the Coffee Mountain Inn. The location is great, room with great hot water was comfy.

We are retired and wanted a little getaway from the beach. Coffee mountain in what's the perfect choice.
We went on a beautiful hike down to a river and waited through the river.

Hostal Familiar Rolo is a fantastic oceanfront stay in Santa Catalina. The property sits on the water and has easy beach access, beautiful outdoor spaces and astounding sunset views.

Great stay in Santa Catalina, fantastic organization by Amir. Enjoyed surf lesson at sunrise with him at Playa Estero. Recommended us the Coiba trip including snorkel and it was insane!

Lisa and I just spent 4 incredible days at Morrillo Beach Eco Resort in Panama, and it exceeded every expectation—especially if you’re looking for something truly off the beaten path.

The rooms are spacious, have you own private balcony and most times an up close view of the jungle wildlife.

What a amazing place to stay, a Well hidden gem. A few rooms, Nice beds, the best views for sunset.

I honestly don’t even know where to start, this place was AMAZING, and Darcy is truly the kind of host you hope for but rarely find.

We stayed in one of the studios and loved every day! There is everything you need, it was clean and nicely designed, and the host and the receptionist are very friendly.

Our Stay was enhanced by our server Dylan here at the Grill Restaurant. He was attentive and the level of service was very high. I appreciate the time he spent on us while we dine.

Great place, right in the center of town. Juan and Chris, the owners, are superfriendly and help you with anything you ask for.

A nice and cozy hotel with a beautiful view of the Santa Fe mountains. A good breakfast with delicious pancakes.

I had a great stay at Hotel Anachoreo in early February! The views from the hotel are beautiful.

Very nice, comfy, fast check-in with nice receptionist and fast Wifi (150 Mbps). All great, the only small downside: A bit noisy in the morning due to trucks since we had the room on the backside.

The rooms were clean, the reception agents wonderful people, my only inconvenience was the Breakfast and the Wi-Fi, breakfast because of the service staff not very service oriented and the Wi-Fi not

Really enjoyed staying here! The host was really sweet and helpful! The dinner and breakfast was delicious! The room was very comfortable and had really good Aircon.

Turned up at 10pm without a reservation after protests disrupted our journey to Santa Fe and we were very warmly welcomed and taken care of, including being cooked for gone 10pm (and it was delicious!

Great atmosphere around the restaurant and pool. We found it very relaxing in an otherwise busy city. Restaurant makes good meals and the service is great.

This place is about a half mile from either beach in Santa Catalina. It’s a very walkable town. Communication with the host was top notch.

-beautiful venue… lots of green areas, beautiful plants and flowers.
-nice bar and restaurant area with nice salads and burgers and drinks.
-reasonable prices.

Great place to stay, pictures are same as reality. There’s only showers & toilets outside, shower is cold (might be good to know beforehand) and the stairs to the dorms is a bit scary and steep.

Nice hotel with a great restaurant attached. Room was clean and bed comfy. The pool was right outside our room door. A worked fine and kept the room comfortable.
