One of my best vacations ever. I will be back. Great staff who is genuinely kind and respectful. Not pretentious at all. And it is relaxing and not snooty despite being a luxury hotel. As a black traveler I felt safe and appreciated.

We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay. Rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly especially Martha in the breakfast buffet, she was the best! Try to get a room with a view. Pool was not huge but kids had a great time.

Rooms are gorgeous, clean, beds and pillows super comfortable and clean linens. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We have 2 connecting rooms. Perfect for traveling with kids. We will definitely come back.

This hotel is on point. It's our first time staying at the Waldorf we got in late and they was able to check in me and my squad very quickly and they gave us a drink of our choice (DOPE)

We have been here for 2 nights and are spending a third. It is a wonderful place to end our two week vacation that started in Costa Rica. Over the two weeks, we have stayed in a total of 4 hotels/resorts. This is by far the best of them. The rooms are both quite and spacious with comfortable beds and marvelous baths. All of the staff have been very friendly and helpful and have made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast we have had each morning was excellent providing multiple options to choose from. We would definitely recommend this hotel and if we return to Panama City will choose this hotel again.

Very good hotel, good service and excellent food!

I recommend everything. The facilities, the pillows (wonderful, they look like cotton balls, attentive, helpful staff. The food was delicious and varied. Since you arrive, the person who receives you very attentive and always attentive to the needs, even how to use the card (key). Congratulations is from this Costa Rican who is grateful for her services.

My air didn't work as well as I would have liked. Temp never went below 68. I was sweating most of the night. The door man and other employees were extremely nice. The shower is fabulous!

Beautiful hotel in an amazing location. Hotel concierge was very helpful and knowledgable. Pool area was clean and quiet and the gym was very big and modern. We used the complementary car service as well, a great option in the rain. Stayed there for 4 nights, would definitely stay there again!

This is unique hotel. It has a very discreet presence on a narrow street. I walked around Panama City for a while after I checked in and conuded the Waldorf is probably the best option around. My favorite part of the hotel is the pool and workout facility which sits about 1/2 way up the building. It's one of the best equpt gyms at a hotel I've ever been to (and it's huge). The outdoor pool and jacuzzi have several comfortable and private places to relax. The rooms are modern and fairly Spartan. I liked the overall sense of quiet and privacy lacking in other larger hotels directly on the water.

Like so many hotels in Panama City, the Waldorf feels dated and a little worn. Unlike the nearby Hilton, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are very clean and the bed is quite comfortable. All in all, a good deal. Four stars is for not always refilling the coffee pods — I have to keep asking for them — and the Wi-Fi and cable has been down for over 5 hours now. No way to get any work done or relax with some tv.

We just spent 5 fabulous days at this property and were treated extremely well. The staff in the Brio restaurant (especially Jose) were extremely courteous and attentive. The breakfast in Brio was amazing with something for everyone from made to order eggs, fresh fruits, cold cuts, and Panamanian breakfast dishes. A special shout out to Oliver, because he was so gracious and always gave the best advice on where to go and what to do with an earnest smile. His advice proved very crucial when we wanted to go to Miraflores Locks since he told us to check before going so we can see the locks in action (they close the locks for a few hours to change directions). The location is perfect on a quiet street (construction was going on close by though) yet 2 minutes away from the oceanside walkway (Cinta Costera) and many good restaurants.

One of the newer hotels in Panama city is the Waldorf Astoria, and despite it's size it has a feel of a small boutique hotel. It is located a row behind the ocean front so only the top floor rooms has views over the ocean, however the benefit is that you don't hear the heavy traffic and it is nice and quiet. The hotel is modern in all aspects but with the feel from the Waldorf Astoria brand. They have a great outdoor pool and a whirlpool on a roof terrace with access to a full service Spa with a great treatment menu. The gym is also located by the pool and has a vast array of machines and equipment as well as access to personal trainers. In addition there are plenty of seating in different forms on the pool terrace and a bar with plenty of drink and food choices. The main restaurant is above the terrace with great food options and views. However there are plenty of choice for food around the hotel if you want to try something different. The lobby is on ground floor with a nice lobby atrium, bear in mind that there is no on street parking so valet parking is the only option if you come by car. The rooms are big and well designed with great attention to detail around the brand and the bathrooms are spacious with both baths and showers. A very nice luxury option in Panama city.

I find it very nice what you have visited for events, I feel very good and comfortable, however, friends who have hosted them has gone very well.

Excellent location for both business and city holiday trips, however no rooms with scenic views as hotel is in a side road, one block behind the ocean front. Professional and very friendly staff without any exception. Food & drinks quality also perfect. All in all thumbs up and highly recommended. Special recognition to butler Oliver. Always friendly, provided some good suggestions.

Excellent service, in this case, for the organization of corporate events, the room is adequate, with good tables and chairs, break are good, in accordance with the place. The staff is outstanding, the place and keep the site well. Recommended for events!

Could not ask for better customer service and location. The third party site allowed us to book a room that was not available, but the staff did a great job at reaccommadation. Hope to visit again.

Really lovely hotel with beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast, great pool, and attentive staff. Deducting a star for location, I imagine great if you’re on business but not really ideal for tourists walking around, Uber’s are plentiful and cheap enough though!

The best place to stay in Panama City. Waldorf's standards are worldwide recognised and are perfectly safe in Panama. If you're in the city for business you will enjoy the benefits, and if you're here for leisure, the rest will be simple perfect.

Service & staff were fantastic. Attentive to every need, went above & beyond to assist. The hotel itself is beautiful, overall decor is stylish & chic. Rooms were very comfortable, Food was consistently good. We normally stay at the Panama Hilton, but will be staying here going forward.

It's a beautiful hotel. From the moment you enter the Lobby you feel the elegance. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The pool and jacuzzi, phenomenal. The location is central, a few steps from Balboa Avenue. The bad thing: the breakfast menu is very small. They can get better.

Amazing staff, from the bellman, front desk, waitress at breakfast to the bar tenders they all work hard to remember your name and have a personal relationship with us. Perfect location, near restaurants and night clubs. A block off Balboa Avenue. Rooms are comfortable and beds great. The best breakfast ever! Wonderful selection! The main restaurant is closed for lunch and dinner but dinner and lunch is served in the lobby bar. Ceviche is very good. All in all after trying several other hotels in town we now decided this is the best choice overall.

This is a beautiful property in a good location. The staff is extremely friendly which makes all the difference. The breakfast buffet is very compact, but they still have an omelet station. The rooms though are very comfortable & the double bathroom vanity is great!

Alexandra, the spa supervisor and sometimes executive assistant was SUPER HELPFUL. She's super gorgeous and deserves a raise. I'd go back just to see her again.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The only reasons I don't give it 5 stars is that the hot tub at the pool was luke-warm at best and the pool bar was never open past 9pm. The pool was beautiful and the only real place to hang out at the hotel — it's a shame it wasn't open later. Otherwise, a great hotel with great service.

The beauty of a Waldorf is the consistency around the world! Clean, very spacious rooms with large bathrooms. Staff was very friendly and attentive. There's a lot of construction going on outside around it but, it doesn't really affect much and you can tell it'll all be nice once it's done.

Very good Hotel, with good management of staff and a wonderful breakfast. The only thing the Pacific views Miss to be in second row. Surrounded by plenty of restaurants if you want to dine out. Recommended.

I was at the celebration. Of the father's day a BRONCH to another level course which specified me that it was for the father's day; I will say what I had sandwiches, Asian section sushi table, glosas, seviche, buffet, very good sucker and a spectacular Grill, salads and desserts my favorite one of pineapple believe with passion friut.

The food is very rich, the staff of the hotel is very friendly. The chocolate cake is unbelievable!. But should be improved as follows:-be more earrings answer the phone's reception.
-the shower faucet it damage just when we went it to use, and very little water comes out!

Awful service. We recently attempted to have a brunch here, they couldn’t find our reservation since it was made by an acquaintance with her maiden name and we did not know it only her first name. In any event we were trying to confirm with our friends the reservation and we were repeatedly “invited” to go to another hotel. They claimed the restaurant was booked, while there were only 2 tables occupied.

Let me premise this review by saying I am a diamond member with HILTON who stays in over 150 nights and more than 40 different hotel properties a year. If you are a HHonors member do not stay here. The Hilton is a much better buy. There is no executive lounge, they are not allowed to provide breakfast vouchers to gold or diamond customers and they were unable to upgrade me to a room better than the basic package. I was embarrassed for them to say the least. Much better option in PC.
