I loved my stay with Marco. The location is superb and the atmosphere is so nice. Marco is a special guest and a man hospitable and a good mood contagious. I will return that's for sure!

We stayed there 2 nights. It is a bit far off town and a bit hidden but it's directly over the water which is nice. So as it's already said in many reviews the host marco is incredibly nice — we even got a welcome drink for free. In general he does absolutely everything to make his guests feel like home. (Helps organizing tours/buses etc. ) The place is clean and in my opinion the biggest plus is the free breakfast: fresh fruit and eggs/omlette/pancakes and coffee and tea. He puts a lot of care and attention it. The standard double room we stayed in was very tiny and basic. When you step outside of the room you are literally in the common area and have a outdoor shower, but I think this is reasonable for the price you pay. All in all I would definitely stay there again, next time maybe in one of the superior rooms. Good value for money and a very chill place, with good vibes.

After traveling Middle America for 3 months, Marco's place offered by far the best experience. His slogan is 'welcome home' and this place really feels like home. I stayed 3 nights and spent most of my time on the porch enjoying the water, the views and Marco's hospitality. Don't expect luxury but the beds are good, the showers hot and the rooms clean. I enjoyed Marco's breakfast and had dinner twice at the big table together with other guests. Marco's pizza's and burgers are very tasty :-). Great, very relaxing experience and highly recommended! I adore this place! The house is beautiful, the owner is amazing, and the dog (the Bnb is named after her) is so sweet! I would not have asked for a better place to stay at while in Bocas:)

I was so excited to stay here after reading all the reviews… and it was even better than I imagined! Marco is amazing. Our flight to San Jose was canceled and he arranged our shuttle for half the price of anything we could find online. Marco is amazing; he anticipates all your need and makes your stay completely stress free. The room was extremely clean, and though there is no air con, the breeze off the bay keep the rooms cool. The view is outstanding, there is little traffic in the bay and it's ideal for swimming. Breakfast was wonderful, made to order with fresh tropical fruit. The common areas were fun & inviting. We met so many wonderful people during our stay. It is the perfect location, secluded, yet town is only a 1 km walk (or $1 cab ride if you're not up for it), which allows you to take advantage of all the convenience of Boca Town without the party atmosphere. I normally do not repeat locations, but I cannot wait to return and I'm encourage everyone I know to stay here as well. I don't think I would have loved Bocas del Toro as much as I did if it wasn't for this incredible lodging.

Best Hostel. Top location, top facilities, top breakfast, top owner. Probably more suitable for younger guests. The only thing vill. To be criticized would be that the rooms on the lower floor have very thin walls, but also no criticism, as the Atmoshphäre this. We will definitely come back!

Some of my most precious travel memories happened at this place. The setting is beautiful and tranquil. One can dive right into the Caribbean anytime of day, swing in the hammock while watching stunning sunsets or just lounge in the tranquil beauty. Marco, the host is a gem of a human being, gracious, intelligent, funny, and ready to serve. This place is as close to perfect as it gets!

Excellent service, the main room of the hostel is very well equipped, and the managers are incredibly helpful.

Very polite, friendly, and attentive. Barrbra is a cute dog as well. The back patio and the view from it is beautiful. The hot breakfast served was home cooked and delicious. I can't recommend enough, and I'd definitely stay there again.

Fantastic Bed & Breakfast! House above the sea, cozy and with a great host. Beautiful views and sunsets. Close to everything and in the best Bay of Columbus Island. Clean and beautiful.

What a great place this is! A home away from home. Of course host Marco is the one who makes this place so wonderful. If you ask, almost anything is possible and he knows a good deal about how to get around. The communal kitchen is lovely and nice and clean. A very good place do a little work or update your social media ;) Breakfast is a nice place and always looks very good with fresh fruits, omelettes, toast etc. Catering vegans was a bit problematic but we received a discount and coffee in the morning. We made our own breakfast and that was totally ok. The atmosphere seems to attract people who are travelling around for a longer amount of time. It is a great place to make new friends. Marco seems to constantly improve the place, which is really nice. And everything is nice and clean! Loved it and would stay there again!

The owner of the hostel "Marco" is very friendly, very helpful, excellent treatment and attention with its guests, besides guiding and guiding you in terms of the best options that gives you the place "Bocas del Toro"
