We spent a very good time at Saigon BnB. Angie and Chapo are very welcoming and helpful hosts. Their bnb is very cozy and very well located. Perfect place to chill. We would certainly have stayed longer if that was compatible with our schedule.

Angie and Chapo have been great. They are super helpful and knowledgeable about what to do and not to do while in bocas del toro. Chapo also does surf lessons and cave tours.

Excellent care of Angie and Nicolas Nice place very comfortable.

Ant infestation actually kept me from staying here. Did not want to die a la Cien Años de Soledad.

My recent stay was excellent. Located three minutes by cab from downtown Bocas del Toro. The location is as peaceful and quiet as you will find close to town — definitely NOT a party hotel — so it is perfect for couples, small groups and solo travelers. I have traveled to Bocas del Toro for many years and also lived there in the past, but never actually stayed in the Saigon neighborhood until now. Saigon Bay has gorgeous sunsets and tons of aquatic life that can be seen from the hotel's private dock… there were all kinds of exotic fish, rays, some starfish, and even an octopus. Great breakfasts served by the hosts right on the water. They have lived in Bocas for years and know everything there is to know about the islands. Two thumbs up.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying at this Airbnb with how I have been treated by the host and the misleading representation of their place. First off, we were mislead by the hosts that the location is 'close' to surfing and restaurants. This is listed on Airbnb and it's really located among the local neighborhood with all the places a surfer would like to experience a taxi ride away. I was never given any type of cancellation policy when booking, and I didn't book through Airbnb so now the host is refusing to give me my money back. Instead, they had me pay via paypal. They have already rebooked the room and have not given me my money back. I have also heard from other reliable sources who tried to stay there that they also encountered a bad experience with them. I can tell you my experience in dealing with them has been an unfortunate one — — they have been dishonest and rude. I would spend your money elsewhere. The owners response below is exactly what you'd have to deal with… stay elsewhere. Trust me. I have also posted the message sent to me by the owner or the business. She is unstable. Avoid.

Enjoying my stay here very much… Bangin' Breakfast on the water with absolute tranquility each and every day. Dan and Amy are great hosts with plenty of knowledge on how to have a good time around town.
