Had an amazing staycation together with my family. We were given a room that was very accessible to the pool and other amenities. The kids totally enjoyed playing in the pool.

Seafood dinner at AlMaha Restaurant Hilton Hotel is yummilious. It’s a wonderful place to visit with families. We find staff pretty friendly, receptive and helpful.

The hotel has two wings. I stayed in older wing which had a cheaper rate but the rooms are extremely dated. The hotel is also located away from the city centre. It has a decent private beach.

Nice ambient, neat and clean rooms and restaurant, friendly staff, Good customer service. Food is good and tasty. Beautiful sea view rooms.

Nice enough hotel but nothing special. Nobody had any idea where dinner was or wasn't available and at what time. We ended up in the bar which seemed a good place until the belly dancer started her performance. Super noisy and over the top. The rooms are nice, if you are not anywhere near the bar…

Great location. Slightly lower prices than other 4 star hotels in the area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, spacious, and quiet rooms. Good overall food from the restaurants. Nice breakfast buffet with wide variety of dishes. Provide various day trip activities for guests. The pool was not that big and didn't have any section that was deep enough for adults. Although it's a nice walk on the sand, the sea was just too far from the hotel (around 200 meters) which is not very convenient.

Close to the airport is the Hilton Hotel, which is more than twenty years old. The hotel landscape is nice, with palm trees and a pool in the middle. Very cool bar and also a possibility to have a shisha. The food at the dinner buffet was just okay. The rooms are big and typical for a Hilton hotel. At the moment is a big construction location next to the hotel and the hotel itself is also under renovation.

After we have a comparison, we would give the Hilton the award instead of the Juweira boutique hotel. Conclusion: Rooms are equivalent, but the rest are not, i. E. Lobby, entertainment and food in the Juweira can not reach the Hilton the water. So: If Salalah, then next time for us clearly the Hilton!

This is one of the older, if not the oldest resort in Salalah. It is very small, outpaced by all newer resorts — especially its new (too close) neighbor. As of this review, the resort is undergoing an extensive renovation. The main entrance, lobby, and the entire hotel to the right side of the lobby (from the front) are closed off. Still, the service is friendly and the food excellent. There was no mention of renovations of any kind on the website, and no discernable difference in compensatory pricing. The room rates are much higher than larger, newer resorts in the area. Depending on your reason for staying, the Hilton's immediate proximity to the Port is either it's greatest asset or detractor.

Beautiful beachside resort with very friendly staff. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Only downside is it's a bit far from town. In house restaurants are good and well priced.

On 15/03/2018 I have visited the hotel as a guest. I had invited around 28 people for dinner at their restaurant. Althought the buffet was not at the range of a 4 star hotel, I did not complained about it. However I was disappointed with the hospitality and the behaviour of the restaurant manager. After my guests left and paid the bill (Omani Rials 550.000) I have requested for one last beer as complimentary, and instead of that they charged me three rials. For me to pay another three rials was not an issue, but their attitude was. Another three rials would not make a difference to them, but they lost a customer. When I questioned about their hospitality, he was offended by my comments and said, you have to pay the three rials. Dear management, is not the renovation of the hotel that will bring you the clients but the good service and the professional people who know how to deal with customers.

The beach area looks good but quite disappointed by the standard the hotel offers. It’s no way luxurious to what Hilton generally offers. The place looks rundown including the lobbies. The breakfast buffet on offer is nothing great for the price charged. The only advantage is it’s proximity to the salalah airport and the access to the beach.

One of the best hotels in Salalah to stay and enjoy. Very nice and guest friendly staff, excellent service, variety of delicious dishes especially the breakfast buffet, clean rooms and surroundings, swimming pool, many entertainment options… all make it a excellent choice for visitors.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel facilities is very old. Room and bathroom in poor condition.
In the bathtub the coating dissolves and is rusty at the edge. Sink is also in poor condition.
The prices in the restaurant and at the pool bar totally overpriced (2 espresso app. €10) food is good but totally overpriced.
Outside the hotel, a café doesn't even cost €1.

Great place to laze around. Food at the palm Grove is very good especially the grilled fish and the steak. Amazing view of the beach and friendly staff. Pool is a bit small relative to the number of guests and the slide in the pool is sometimes closed. Rooms are a little dated but very comfortable to stay. The breakfast is a standard and has not been changed much for long time in terms of menu / offering. Some variety is long overdue.

Very nice clean hotel with good service. On beachfront. Here is alot of children below 7years durung our stay — I recommend to upgrade the kids palace… not really measure up with the rest of the hotels image and service.

The food is top there are all the people friendly also the choice of drinking is not bad but at the moment there is a construction site which only visually disturbs you hear of it almost nothing opposite is the industry gape the one but also only sees not hear the beach is sorry He's not the best and also damn far away.

Fine beach property of Hilton in Salalah. They have a fine quality five star hotel with a descent swimming pool. Hotel has 3 bars, one is a poolside another near the main restaurant and "The Chequers" is the sports bar near the entrance gate and bit isolated from main property. Rooms are spacious and clean. They also have a health club including Spa where massage and Sauna facilities are available. The entrance has a grand landscape with fountains and a parking lot. Staff is polite and helpful. Service is good. During our stay we observed that, place is famous among senior citizens; as 95% of the guests were over 50 years of age. They spend most of the time lying in the sun poolside or facing the beach. Table tennis and fussball is available near the restaurant; however the accessories are outdated and need to be replaced. "The Chequers" is a sports bar with only one pool table which too is worn out. Sticks are not good enought to play. Need to be replaced as playing is no more fun. This bar is mainly famous for local Omanis chilling out and chit-chatting. There is no price menu here so don't forget to ask for discount as the bartender tells the price orally. Breakfast is average compared to 5 star rating. We experienced that the restaurant staff is bias when it comea to the hospitality towards Asian and European guests.

The actual hotel is quite exquisite. However, there is NOTHING to do in the area. What does not help is that an employee from the coffee/ diner in the back of the location does NOT have morals as I am loed to for simple things. I ordered a simple mocca and cake with another employee. The employee snd this lady exchanged positioms and I ended up dealing with a lady from Ethiopia and her service was horrendous. Trying to appreciate the hotel was hindered by this lady and I did NOT appreciate the service I received. For this matter I would not reconsider returning.

Dignified luxury! Great buffet, delicious breakfast with everything you need, nice pool and wide sandy beach in front of the hotel. Lie in the garden and also a couple with umbrellas on the beach.

Decent place, room had a smell which was addressed. Good breakfast and good view of the beach. Nice lounge if you are looking for shisha, great in the Khareef season.

Enjoyed many days here. Staff was always nice and the beach was always beautiful. Sushi was good along with other items at the other restaurant.

Only complaint is there is no free Wi-Fi available in the rooms. Otherwise everything else about the hotel is up to the Hilton standard. It is spacious, beautiful, has great tasting food. The staff are also very courteous and helpful.

Hotel in a good location, shame the proximity of the commercial port and adjacent works (temporary buildings). After so many years resort needs some renovation, the staff and service are not up to the Hilton Hotel. Overall not bad for the peace found. Wifi very slow.

We stayed for 1 week in this facility and are yesterday very disappointed to come back. Food is not the equivalent of a Hotel of this category, every day is the same unloving served menu. Construction noise and Discolärm up early in the morning 4 o'clock. Meeresqualität corresponds to a Cloacke.

Very nice property with great restaurants. Western and European breakfast (no pork). Some of the "Extra" charges where a little pricey (Wi-Fi, laundry), but generally a great location and staff.

This is a excellent hotel but price is too not too much but it should be 30 or 39 rial but a good hotel also.

Last month I was in the city and had a meeting with new business partners. I received a very warm welcome from the staff, all the while Mary (a girl from the staff) took care to my stay to be comfortable and hassle free, I'm very grateful to her. Аlbeit less I managed to enjoy the beautiful view from my room to the sea. After the meeting I went to the Palm Grove beach bar and I was fascinated by the pool — not big, but good.

The hotel is in front of the beach, with a magnificent view to the Indian Ocean. The pool was clean and my only complaint would be that it closed at 8 p. M. I would have enjoyed more evening time in the pool after touring the local community. Stuff was very helpful from the very beginning of my stay, especially Philipp and Mary — always smiled and kind. The Palm Groove restaurant was an amazing experience. I often had lunch and dinner there, because the seafood was very tasty. I also enjoyed having a drink on the big terrace.
