Thomas and Natascha are the lovely new owners and welcomed us warmly. Elk hut (sleeps 8) was super comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The campsite is in a beautiful spot overlooking the lake and perfectly positioned for the back country skiing we had planned in the Langsua National Park just down the road. There’s a friendly well equipped co-op 10 mins away where you can get pretty much everything you need, including ski wax which was helpful. Great people, super-competitive price and Kimi the husky puppy was adorable.
Was only there for the 1 night but was an awesome stay. Big up to Franke, welcoming, chatty, extremely helpful and a huge personality. Can't forget to mention his sweet dog Biker (spellcheck). Will definitely return and recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful picturesque part of Norway.

We had a pleasant stay at Skåbu Hyttegrend! Thomas and Natascha are extremely friendly and caring hosts. You will find anything you need at the fully equipped huts or camping sanitary. Unbelievably gorgeus scenery and endless activities to go for at Skabu and the national parks around. Highly recommended to check this place out!
