Beautiful location in the harbour of Svolvær. You stay in small houses on the waterfront.
Friendly staff, the breakfast is a feast.

Fishing Village Buildings. Restaurant Kjøkkenet with delicious food from the area. Served in an old authentic local kitchen styled environment. It’s a must.
“Pubben” in the same house. Nice place. All rights. Indoor and outdoor. Pizzas and great tasteful food from Lofoten. Fiskegrateng a favourite.
Then you have the small houses. Rorbuer. A house with two bedrooms, 2 bed each. Lovely.
Anker Brygge is a must when visiting Lofoten.

Overnight in the rorbuer has a whole other charm than the hotel. The cottage is warm and welcoming and has a panoramic terrace for docking boats, with kitchenettes equipped with everything. Breakfast, good and plentiful is served in a white cottage not far away. Check-in is from 8am to 8pm so, in case of delayed arrival, it is best to notify you to have your keys delivered from the nearby pub.

The Bar looks superb. The Barkeeper was extremley nice, offered an elder lady from outside a tea and brought her in as it started raining.

Michelin Guide etc has this as a 5 star hotel. It clearly is not, by the European standard (crappy gas station soap, no room service), but that aside it is totally fine. Rustic charm. Go as a family to appreciate the value of the shared common areas.

The meals and service at the restaurant was nice. The room looked clean, but used cooking instruments were in the dishwasher, probably from previous gusts and kitchen wasn't professionally cleaned. The hotel has bar & karaoke which is closed at 2:30am and was unbelievable noisy… depends on the location of the room. We claimed about it to reception twice during the night, but situation didn't change until they closed and all gests left (about 3 am, but my partner couldn't sleep until 4am). Also we couldn't talk about it to reception in person due to our early check out. So we send an email to the hotel, they offer to free stay… I don't think many people can back to Lofoten so often… anyway, we sent back an email and wrote that we don't think we could back there soon and the price we payed for the night wasn't worth it, also they didn't mention about the noise at all. We haven't had answer after all.

We were given half a red house on the side of the square but cmq a very nice and manicured area where there are only red cottages. The cottage is located in the centre of the house at 5 min from the hurtigrutten. Inside it was blue (but we saw that there were other colors) a little dark with strange lights unappreciated and the stick of the curtains is not attached so it is likely to fall. The cottage has an entrance, living room with kitchen (there is also the kettle) and two bedrooms one on the lower floor and the other upstairs both with bathroom. Breakfast with various drinks and sweet/salty foods, hot/cold but nothing special. Overall not a 5-star real but very touristy one night is to be done just to say that you have been in a red cottage All very nice in the Norwegian style.

Beautiful rorbu, clean and with stunning views. If you visit the Lofoten you can't stay at least one night in one of these cottages. Taking a tea on the jetty with the midnight sun is gorgeous. Great breakfast buffet, plentiful choice.

Made a quick stop for a beer on a wet day in Svolvaer. Beer good, barman friendly. Lots of old features, wooden beams, etc.

Not easy to accommodate yourself on these parts of the town this place is always booked because occupy nice location inside beautiful historical building rooms very nice decorate the place has restaurant and bar rest on the site that serves cocktails on the downstairs at reception you have facility area and utility shop with Norwegian crafts and hand knitted jumpers and hats good selection of souvenir.

A fantastic location: on a small island just a few meters from the mainland, this widespread hotel is formed by rorbuer the typical fishermen's houses. Each cottage has 2 rooms and 4 beds in all with beautiful furnishings and a stratospheric view on the Poricciolo and the surrounding mountains. Always clean and well heated, great breakfast buffet well assorted.

A series of cozy, clean rooms with everything you need, on a small island in Svolvaer. Close to a restaurant/pub and a few minutes ' walk from the supermarket.

Very cosy place. Magnificent views. Nice mini apartments with kitchen and sofas. Ideal for friends, groups, families or couples. You can park your car directly in front of the cabins. Very good breakfast with cereals, bread, waffles, cheese, … staff was very friendly.

I've been to many milf bars in the few years I spent on earth but Anker Brygge tops the list without doubt. Recommend it strongly!

Classic apartments Style "Norwegian Fisherman's House", with modern Nordic style décor, each apartment has basically everything you need to live (induction floor, oven, cutlery, dishes, and even dish soap! ). Courteous staff, it is the most convenient thing is the parking adjacent to the house, which allowed us to leave the car next to the cottage.

Had an absolute blast here in Anker Brygge. The beer was cold and the food was 10/10, the service was above and beyond — a massive thanks to Pål who looked after us for the few days while we were in town, with quick history lessons of the town, bar and the liquor, we could not of asked for better hospitality. Definitely worth the visit if you are in Svolvær!

Great rooms. We had a misguided via booking, and we found ourselves with a room of too much to pay. They met us with a big discount. Great breakfast.

The rorbours are exquisite! These little houses in wood are fully equipped and make you feel at home. There's a wonderful view of the port and over across the bridge. Everything is very clean and the staff is kind and always there for any request. I really recommend at least one night here! It's a unique experience!

Luxury fisherman’s cabins (rorbuer) on a tiny island in the harbour! Conveniently located in the heart of the waterfront district on a little island accessible by car/pedestrian bridge, with free parking available. We had a large and comfortable cabin (no. 232A) with a cosy feel (see my attached photos), boasting full kitchen and living room with nice views over the water and towards the nearby mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here, much more charm than one of the big hotels. I will also highly recommend the restaurant “Kjøkkenet” Regards Svein-Magne Tunli from Bergen, Norway.
