Perfect location, great food, fair price.

Breath taking views that u don’t wanna missing.

Hotel is very cozy and has tons of amenities — several pools, hot tubs, bars & restaurants. Amazing views to Mountains. So far, the best hotel in Scandinavia we stayed.

Disappointing. Great location. Food okay but restaurant often over crowded by tour bus clients. Room for two, non-view, was okay. Friendly staff.

What a perfect location. Right on the edge of the fjord. The scenery is stunning and the staff are delightful. The food is mass catering at a buffet so there is plenty of choice. However, fine dining it isn't.

Nice good place, decent hotel, lovely responsive staff, there is a sauna, trainers.

Hotel itself could be lovely. However they concentrate on many tours which fill up the restaurant. Not much attention given to regular guests. We were told the swimming pool might not be operational but in the end it was available. However steam room and sauna were not working. Public areas looked good and hotel has lovely setting. Our bedroom was great with small balcony overooking the fjord from the side. Organisation in restaurant very poor with 'free for all' on the buffet. Food poor in comparison to other hotels we had been to. Although we had booked our table reservation, towards the end of the meal we were asked to leave to allow others to come in. It seems to be really a large tour hotel for large parties. Not for individuals.

Too beautiful fjord scenery! Counter and bar service staff is also very friendly, provide quality service, the room is a bit too small, just decorate the paint smell is too heavy, uncomfortable, but the scenery can make people forget this shortcoming, balcony settings are too perfect. Bathroom Lotus Head is too old, and then the sheets are dirty so there is no way to give 5 stars. Breakfast words are slightly monotonous, not many kinds, but also have a basic level. In addition, the bar recommended by the Norwegian Apple West Dozen (alcoholic) very good to drink, such as the taste of champagne, it is very recommended to sit outside to enjoy the scenery, if there is a chance to come again, or will choose this restaurant.

Very old Hotel. Beds with old spring mattresses very incomfortable. Breakfast without variety or quality. You have 2 stars left over.

Fabulous, in unsurpassed views.

The rooms are simple and I can safely say, pretty basic. However, you will be rewarded with a very beautiful view in the morning. The restaurant serves delicious Norwegian food. The drive to this place was simply gorgeous.

I forgot to return one of their keys-pierced cards last month we had the very special pleasure of being their guests, the rush with the bus made me forget it. Can be paid online? How much would it be and how? I expect your directions, thank you very much.

Beautiful views on the fjord. Breakfast can get quite crowded and unpleasant if there are four groups there though.

The fjords in the back of the hotel are very spacious, and sitting on the sofa in the lobby window is very suitable for taking photos, and guests can enjoy free coffee or hot tea at the same time.
The elevator is an old elevator with a single door open, the space is very small, but the interesting experience.

So much wasted potential for this hotel. The views are absolutely gorgeous, but the rooms are in need of modernization and repair (uncomfortable beds, peeling wallpaper, poor lighting). The food is mediocre especially considering the hefty price tag.

Mistake, I wanted to give 4 stars.

The potential is great but the place is a disappointment. Worse are the smelly rooms and the uncomfortable beds. One pillow per person. Noise from the parking and elevator. Than the food which is average but very expensive. The view was great but only available to a small number of rooms. If you stay here make sure you get one if the view with a balcony rooms. For my next visit ill try to find a different place.

The hotel is surrounded by nature on the banks of the fjord. The structure apparently is very nice, but you immediately realize that it is very old, with very small rooms and tiny bathrooms. The hotel is very expensive, especially compared to the services it offers. The breakfast and dinner buffet is very poor compared to other Norwegian hotels. Also the quality of the food is not the best. Still worth stopping in spite of everything. The place offers a beautiful view. So I would say it's worth it. In the surroundings there are also campsites with better services. So for those who travel by camper or are satisfied with a small cottage, it is the ideal place. With supermarkets in the area and small shops.

Really nice, cozy and pricy place :)

I was with a tour group. Was fortunate enough to have a fjord view from the balcony of my room. Loved to sit out until after midnight watching the sun briefly set. Beautiful view. Accommodations were a little dated but absolutely loved it.

Perfectly placed, nice dinner&Breakfast but in rehabilitation needs. It's outdated.

Had a lovely Fjord view room. After being in cold weather, what a nice surprise to find the lovely fjord view pool and warmth of the Sauna. Enjoyed it so much, used both several times. Took one of my best photos from their back lawn of Hardangerfjord.

Old Hotel.

Sitting on invincible fjord scenery, window sat alone reading and writing full of good intentions. Sunny blue skies after the rain is very nice, rainy and Misty also had a taste.
Food is not bad, food dominance. Natural resource-rich environment is to have such benefits. But have to say, is a worrying thing.
There is a small swimming pool in the hotel, no space a few children THUMP THUMP. Gym 200 meters away, the common resources of the town.
Decoration of the hotel is a bit hasty, still in line with simple ideas, but to show what the temperament of the Empire. Also may be related to funding. No flowers, guest many times even a hot shower, there is no guarantee that supply.
