The appearance of the old hotel, the interior of the new hotel.
The content of the dinner buffet is rarely selected. Some rooms without a hairdryer are the biggest drawback.

The place was cozy inspite of it being huge. They have outdoor tables too with a view of Norway's nature. The food tastes soo good and the cost was just ok. We ordered 4 cheese-pizza and a chicken salad! We came back on our way home, ate and also took home some pizzas. Recommended! Btw, most of the waiters/waitresses can speak english.

There have even not cooking egg in breakfast. Breakfast was too bad. Only three TV channels have signals. No hairdryer in my room, I asked reception and she said some rooms have hairdryer and some rooms don’t have, and they have no more hairdryer for me. So I think it’s not pair as I paying same much like other but why I can’t even use the hairdryer!

Included breakfast was served a la carte and was not a buffet. This was disappointing. The room was clean, but very hot. No way to cool it off without letting extra light in as you tried to sleep. Plan carefully for the town, almost everything was closed on Sunday and almost everything required prior reservations.

Really pleasant hotel a short walk from the train station. It is clean and has updated decor. The lobby and restaurant are very nicely decorated. The rooms are on the small side but very comfortable. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. Please excuse the bags in the photos — I took the pictures right before we left.

Min familie spiste her I går, de sad et sted nær receptionen. På menuen var der pizza og pasta. Min mor og bror bestilte “Kokkens Pizza” — ekstrem dyr og vond pizza. De smagte direkte ulækkert. Pastaen var heller ikke god. Kokkens pizza resulterede I den ene med opkast hele natten og den anden med diarré. Kan IKKE anbefales!

Good food, good for family, a nice pool and it had good activities and good skiing near by.

The Highland Lodge is a quick walk from the train station, about 5 minutes. There was included breakfast for both days. It seems like there is a breakfast buffet on the weekends, and then a menu with 4 or 5 items to choose from during the week. The room was a decent size for a single, and the bathroom was recently renovated with heating flooring. The maid service left something to be desired. They just threw one of the blankets in a heap on the floor. Could be improved, but not a big deal. There are locking ski lockers in the basement, but not all rooms have one. The pool area is nice, the hot tub was hot and bubbily, and there is also a sauna. The Geilo ski bus pick up and drop off point is just a few minutes walk toward the centre of town. Would stay here again, although it was pretty expensive, but it seems like that's the case for any of the hotels around Geilo.

It is a nice hotel but some og the room are not very practicle, the location of the hotell is good near by the central og Geilo.

Very comfortable reception and library in what feels like a well run hotel and a very good standard. Even when busy it feels quiet. Patisserie are excellent for Europe although not quiet perfect 10. Coffee good. A really great place to hang and enjoy the vibe. Certainly is on my list of places to stay :)

Great interior, nice view. Very little activity though.

Great bakery and a nice lounge bar. This has potential for many things. Bring a group of friends and relax here is really great.

Very nice&beautiful hotel but breakfast is poor.

Was there on way back from ulvik. We can get Norways best pizza there. Liked pizza and location is best on the backyard.

The location is excellent. Around beautiful landscapes, there's a way to walk in the mountains to the waterfalls.

I simply loved the stay food. My family specially enjoyed through out the stay.

Stopped and spent a night when I drove from Göteborg to Bergen. Nice rooms and great breakfast.

Nice breakfast buffet, restaurant area and price (1150 NOK for 2+1 small child). Ok rooms.
