The hotel is located right next to the river, and has a great view if you order a room with windows. Very comfortable beds, and the bathroom was quite sizeable. The staff was very accommodating, and the breakfast was great, especially with the view. The hotel has a shuffle board, and if you want to have a beer, they serve it at the breakfast area in the evening.

Small rooms but ok … maybe better with big twin bed than Small single bed.

Small rooms, labirint type of hotel, kind of hard to find your room, luckily everything is written in big letters, very clean, satisfying fresh breakfast. All and all, a good place to overnight there…

It looked nice. And was clean. Very central too.

Located convenient 600m from the railwaystation, directly at the sea. The hotel offers a nice view on the castle there. The staff is friendly and a healthy breakfast awaits you in the morning. Rooms are clean and include a rather big bathroom. They are clean and the free Wi-Fi is decent. The included restaurant offers a discount for hotel guests, but I haven't had dinner there so I cannot comment on the quality. Checkout was smooth and a luggage storage room is available. There is also a parking area available directly at the hotel.

Cosy & clean rooms. Good selection at the restaurant both at breakfast & dinner.

Good placement in town. Room as standard quality. Good enough but nothing outstanding. Nice breakfast buffet, but a little small dining area. Internet solution is easy to use, you connect and get redirected to a login page.

Good drinks, fair prices. At peak hours, a bit long waiting at the bar.

Bar service was excellent. Bartender was very helpful with drink selection based on vague terms.

I was at this hotel back in 2015 or 2016, don't rightly recall but I have a good memory of the hotel: The food was good, the service was fine and the receptionist was very professional and polite if memory serves me correct. The only thing I didn't like in Halden was a Pizza parlor that we went to and ate because the didn't accept plastic but that don't have anything to do with this hotel.

I loved this hotel. Great rooms with good beds. The staff was very kind and helped us with everything. The hotel was near Sweden and that is æ good thing. The breakfast was also one og the best I have tried in æ while. I would highly recommend this hotel for people going to Sweden or just visiting Halden.

I was only asking the front desk for help with a taxi. Excellent service was provided.
