As soon as I turned up the management made me feel welcome as if I was part of the family. The whole vibe of this place I feel is about, fun and helping each other to have the best possible time on holiday.
The warm friendly staff here are all about making you feel loved and go out of there way to try to make sure the best time is had while your in Nelson.
I can not speak highly enough about this place and would 100% recommend it to anyone that is traveling to Nelson.
Great job guys! going to be sad to leave but will be back again some day as I feel part of the family now. ❤❤❤ Luken Carter.

Awesome people to get along with. Good atmosphere to chill out when you have been travelling. Very handy to town. Beautiful scenery to the Church.

Clean and tidy. Good location to launch off on hikes and towards Wellington.

Great place different prices of accommodation. Nelson main high street right outside. Lovely cathedral opposite. Bar down in the basement open 3/4 nights a week.

I stayed here for 7 nights in July. The staff were helpful and caught up with me each day to make sure all was okay. The accommodation and surrounds were kept clean and tidy. Pleased I chose this as my first experience in staying at a backpackers.

Hostel is really clean and tidy. Toilets were great! Hair dryer and straightener in the ladies’! Wi-Fi is top notch. Hostel owners and workers were extremely friendly and helpful all the time.

Awesome place to stay! A great vibe, especially with the pub in the basement (highly recommend going there for a drink and chatting with the owners). The owner, Wayne, was extremely friendly and helpful and even suggested a great bike ride that we never would have found. The hostel has free bike hire which was perfect. Wayne also had a lot of other suggestions for the area that were off the beaten path, so it is definitely worth asking him about what to do. Loved my stay there!

Great location, clean & comfortable. But — shouldn't say "breakfast included when there is none. Not even milk, tea or sugar! My advice is to come prepared!

Really really nice place! Super clean and comfy with a lot of space! Kitchen is super nice, big and clean! The staff and owners are awesome, nice, kind and lovley people! A must do when in Nelson! One of my most favourite Hostles ever!

SO homey! And Wayne, the owner is so friendly. I love his vision for the place — he built it from scratch, his wife decorated it, and there is so much love in the building — you can just feel it in the rooms! Clean, cozy — I would stay much longer if I could! And the bar downstairs with fresh berry cider on tap…

Great spot, clean, safe and location close to downtown shops and restaurants. The staff very friendly and helpful. Nice patio area, and lower level pub add to the awesome atmosphere. Highly recommend staying here if in Nelson area.

Very good location, close to all the restaurants. Bathrooms and kitchen are clean for hostel standards. Service was nice. Unfortunately, there is a bar right next to the hostel and our room‘s window was right towards this bar (we had the room for 2). With an amazingly bad singer singing until late, there was no chance of sleep. Closing the window was not an option as the room was very hot and sultry and no airconditioning.

The best hostel I stayed in. Everything was clean and new. Great facilities and it feels like a bed and breakfast.

Lovely spot in Wellington. Very close to the hustle and bustle of Trafalgar Square. The kitchen facilities and lounge/backyard were great, though we had some initial trouble with our keys. The staff was friendly and helpful, and everything was clean.

Great place stayed over a long weekend everyone is really friendly.

The nicest backpacker accomodation I've been to.

This is a fabulous place with eveything going for it.

* quiet neighbourhood
This will definitely be the place to stay next time I'm in Nelson and can recommend.

Rooms cost a lot less than I thought (than is quoted here). Loved the place, the decor, the awesome ambient music, bar, lounge. They have a guitar! The list goes on. But even if it wasn't for all that. I would go there just for the people. Absolutely unbeatable people. Thank you so much. It was a privilege to stay. Oh. Beds good too. And free bread every day.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. The entire place is spotless, has first class free Wi-Fi, great lounge area, bar/restaurant downstairs and perfect central location. Only minor issue were the beds that were a little squeaky and our room only had 2 power points for 6 people. Great staff.

Beautifully renovated at a reasonable price. Up market backpackers or downmarket hotel dorm accommodation in bunk beds. Super clean. Close to the main street but far from the noise.

Brilliant location within easy walking distance of the town centre. Clean and quiet rooms. Overall reasonable value.

Brand new rooms, great customer service, good facility's, big kitchen, BBQ, right in the center of the town, rooms have thick walls, comfortable beds and very clean, they take good care of the building.

Awesome! Wayne and Anne are so welcoming, nothing is to much trouble for them. Whether it's what to do, what to see or where are the best tucked away little restaurants they know it all. The place is amazing and the staff are super friendly.
Plus they helped us out when we needed to book another night (short notice).
I would recommend if you go to Nelson this is the place to stay, loved it. I'm coming back.
