Rebecca the host is lovely and very helpful as host. She cooked us breakfast on both days and it was delicious. The accommodation itself is very good — comfortable and large bed and the shower has high pressure. The only negative aspects were the lack of air-conditioning and the noise we could hear from other rooms — the walls are very thin. It was boiling in our room at night and we both struggled to get to sleep. The main building has air-conditioning and the guest accommodation also requires this. Would stay again if we were in Te Anau during cooler months or if air-conditioning was installed.
