Free coup and pudding! Staff is super nice! Lots of common space. Just a good vibe.

I only stayed here one night but wished I could have stayed forever. So cozy and a true home away from home feel. Thank you for the delicious pumpkin soup and homemade fresh bread & let’s not forget the pudding and hokey pokey ice cream! Yum! Most welcoming vibe I’ve experienced in any hostel!

The most incredible customer service I have ever witnessed. To say Nikki went above and beyond, is an understatement. I had a family member stay who sometimes needs assistance and the care and kindness exhibited, honestly brought me to tears. I would dial the stars up to 100 if I could rate it higher. I am lost for words right now, just blown away. Would recommend in a heartbeat. I'm very thankful. Thank you so so much!

Quite a cosy little hostel. The chocolate pudding and ice cream is such a treat and sitting out in the hot tub on a cool, starry night is just fantastic!

I just spent three nights here. The hostel itself is great, the staff are super helpful and attentive. The beds are the best I have ever experienced. Super comfy mattresses and each bed has its own little light.
Unfortunately, the toilet door did not close properly, and it is a pity that there are only covered terraces. When the sun is shining you have to leave the hostel to sunbathe a bit. But that's luxury gripe;)
The chocolate pudding is great, and the staff are very happy to wash off the huge baking form once and that doesn't have to be done by the staff the next morning.
All in all a nice hostel, something outside.

To be a hostel is very good, the rooms are 4-bed and has free Wi-Fi.

The Hostel was great, I was only there for one Night, but when I'm back in Picton I'll definitely stay there again. The Staff is super nice And there are plenty of free things such as Free Wi-Fi, Shuttle to the Ferry or train Station, Netflix in The Fehrzer Room and Chocolate Pudding With Vanilla ice Cream.

What a wonderful place. I felt like I was staying in the owners' home. It was very comfortable and the rooms were tidy and all facilities were clean. I loved the outdoor seating area, which had very comfy chairs and lots of plants. The owner was very helpful and nice to talk to. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

Coffee great. But the food. Horrible. Quiche was spongie dry. Almost unbeatable. Shame kiwi's cannot bake good food. Fake eggs. Fake butter.

Cosy little bedroom, cute little TV room, desserts delivered to our room, could have better Wi-Fi, 5star. Will definitely stay again sometime in the near future.

Loved my stay, loved Nicci and Lynley, lives the homely feeling. This place is a must stay.

Enjoyed the perks of hot tub (book a 30 min slot in the evening) and free chocolate pudding and ice cream around dinner time. Could do with a couple more showers and toilets but the rooms were comfortable enough and a big kitchen. Quiet location, near to a supermarket and walkable into the town centre. The owner who made the pudding put a bad taste on our stay, acting too much like a bossy teacher/parent, relentless at clearing out unmarked items in the fridge (saw an unopened 2L of coke get poured down the drain), to the point she shouted out a 10 minute warning before check out!

Really nice place to stop in Picton. Clean and tidy, has cozy fireplace, free soup and pudding in evening and free breakfast. Wi-Fi is free and works well but is available only in lounge and main areas.

Nice place to start your journey of the south island. The free pudding in the evening is a great addition and the hottub is free to use.

Nice and comfortable place to stay, friendly staff, it was my first time and really a good experience for me, definitely stay there again.

Nice friendly atmosphere. Wood burning stove, cedar hot tub and homemade pudding and ice cream will make you happy. Our room was a bit chilly even with heat on but still a nice place.

Pretty good hostel with free breakfast, which was really good! A big downside with the place was that it was freezing cold inside, they had little or no heating, which isn't the best idea during winter in NZ. The toilets and showers were not very tidy. Other than that I would recommend this place.

Sometimes one can not believe this kind of places really exists. Free Wi-Fi, delicious free desert on evening, great people, great rooms and bathrooms. Just perfect. Congrats to the staff.
