A wonderful pet friendly hotel, with helpful and knowledgeable staff, spacious suite fully equipped with all you need, smack bang in the city centre and close to all amenities.

Very nice suite and service but could do with a little more attention to detail. Most of the pot plants in the hotel were dead, the fountain was not working, no chairs on the balcony and the restaurant/bar only does breakfast. Also the garden out the front was overgrown and messy. No air conditioning was also a bit disappointing.
Overall it is a lovely hotel, very close to the city and the lovely Avon river but I expected a little more considering it was over $200 per night!

Center of town, easy parking, beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. A+, 10 out of 5!

Check in was first class. Undercover parking available for a small fee. Access to restaurants and bars close by. King sized beds are so comfy. Huge TV and loads of seating in lounge room of the apartment. Washer/Drier combo is a welcome surprise for travellers. Definitely recommend Fino Hotel and Suites.

The rooms are very spacious fantastic for a family of four we’ve got we’ve stopped here twice while we been in New Zealand and it’s been lovely and comfortable.

Good clean comfortable unit. One of the most comfortable beds I have slept on. Very handy position. But over night service was less than adequate, didnt replace any condiments. Fix that up and it is well worth a visit.

This hotel is comfortable enough to stay overnight. Supported with adequate facilities, spacious rooms, clean kitchen. The hotel staff is also very friendly. The location of the hotel is also strategic, close to the tram station.

Handy location and large suites. Plenty of nearby locations to eat and easy walking distance to the city centre attractions and sights. Great for kids. The hotel restaurant breakfast was a little ordinary but OK if you want to get on the road quickly.

Very clean and well appointed and although we only stayed one night, our suite had everything we needed for a family of four. We would be very happy to have a longer stay here if the opportunity arose.

Extremely comfortable apartment for our family of 4. Couldn't fault the staff or room at all. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Will be looking at other hotels within this chain to stay at in the future.

Traveled from Scotland and couldn't have asked for better accommodation. Great big comfy bed and certainly helpful to get over jet lag. Good location alsoalso not too busy and a secure parking for your car. Wi-Fi is very good quality. Great start to 3weeks in NZ.

These guys rock! They’re very friendly and attentive, and go the extra mile for their guests. As for the breakfast buffet I have no complaints at all, everything is hot and fresh. The cooked breakfast has: mushrooms, potatoes, tomatoes, eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, most important, Great Coffee and more, special thanks to Ciaron and Precious at the restaurant for such an excellent service and good conversations. Very special thanks to Chloe at the front desk for her help with about everything, she even found me a coffee maker online, and knows really good local eating spots.

Yes I would have to agree, the service does need much attention, after taking advantage of a wonderful offer, re breakfast, our group found we had to wait for service ask for glasses, butter, the food was cold and not replenished 40 were booked and only enough food at any time for 10 folk, baked beans " cold as charity, straight from the tin. All for $30 per head, even with " the promotional " deal not at all worth the time and effort, I certainly will not recommend. Who wants to moan about how cold the food is after paying for it totally embarest shocking service.

Great location, close to town and meters from a number of restaurants and Christchurch casino. Lounge was huge with great kitchen and smart TV, free Wi-Fi, dining table and laundry hiding behind doors. Bedrooms were good size with comfortable beds. Staff were helpful and friendly. It is on a one way street but right up beside reception is an off road small parking area that leads to private gated car park once you have your key. This is our second time at this hotel, we love the size of the room and the smart TV.

Nice rooms. Beds are great. There is no gym here that I know of. Parking is weird. There was little cars under cover but were told to park in the outside section which at the moment is a unused lot and looked unsecured. Either way, good enough location and staff are nice. Wi-Fi speed is ok and connection is generally good.

Great restaurant for dining. Must try their lamb rack dish. Taste so yummy & the portion is huge too.

Nice hotel in a good, central location. The room was spacious and modern, with a balcony. Beds were comfortable. Linen clean. Staff very helpful. Didn't have breakfast there, but the restaurant looked nice.

Fabulous place with generous proportions! Wonderful and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant is yummo with a great selection. Loved my stay, the rooms were very nice and the beds glorious!

The best hotel we stayed at throughout our 18 day trip in NZ. We're a family of 5 so having a 2 bedroom unit was perfect. Lots of space. Excellent kitchen with washer/dryer. Great Location location location. We walked everywhere. Highly recommend for anyone. Parking provided. Frewin at the front desk was excellent at his job. He was extremely helpful and provided our family with excellent customer service. Housekeeping was terrific.

First room smelt so bad of damp, we asked to be moved — they firstly tried to get rid of the smell, but to no avail. The next suite was smaller, but as I went to put a suitcase in the wardrobe, noticed cat faeces on the floor. They were apologetic, but not very forthcoming with compensation for being inconvenienced, and put off staying. We got an upgraded breakfast as a one off — $10. Very disappointing.

I was going to give this hotel one star not because of the huge suite or huge TV or huge, comfy king bed but because of the silly little things like chewing gum on the underneath of the wireless keyboard for the TV, a dirty bread board, dirty glasses, a noisy bathroom fan heater, the one little wall heater for a big suite, dust on the fridge and general poor upkeep in the room. I have given 3 stars because when we complained about these little things, they were dealt with with honest apologies. But still because of them I can't give more than 3 stars.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom unit, each rooms are fitted with a queen bed, neat and clean. Though the rooms are a bit compact to move around, the living room is spacious, and the kitchenette has most equipment needed for light meal preparations. It is very quiet, and the Wi-Fi speed is excellent, with unlimited data usage. The unit has a washing machine and a dryer, useful for travellers who need to do some laundry. The breakfast at the cafe in the hotel serves good western breakfast. Plenty of travel information is available at the reception area, and if you are keen on gambling, the casino is just within walking distance.

This "squeaky shiny" new property in a city devastated by earth quake and now thoroughly disrupted by construction/repair is special. Near to CBD, walkable to various points of interest, it currently is a stand-alone property not (yet) surrounded by much. There is limited on site parking; and a restaurant on property which offers 15% discount to hotel guests.

Good sizes suite for family. Helpful staff and good coffee.
