Beautiful luxury apartments supplied with everything one could need, all built around gorgeous scenery and ponds with ducks. I love it here.

Our Apartment was large and spacious. 2 bedrooms. Large lounge and wonderful fire. The kitchen was lovely. Full amenities and facilities. Very tastefully decorated. I would thoroughly recommend Village Lake Apartments to anyone as a place to stay in Hanmer.

It says 5 stars out the front and I agree. This place is awesome, wonderfull views of the snow capped mountians, close to where everything is happening but not to close that it is loud. The staff are great and friendly and very helpfull. Highly recommend.

Terrible experience. We had a room here multiple times paid them $1000's of dollars on our final time we came here a mattress was broken… there was no way we broke it but were charged for anyway… zero considerstion for the $1000's of dollars we had spent I would never come back here and would never recommend. In fact I have actively discouraged people from coming here.

Very nice little apartments, owners were lovely and very polite, our apartment had a nice view of the mountain and the bed was very comfortable, probably one of the best sleeps ive ever had, bath did take about 15 minutes to fill though. Also cleaners were nice people, taking time out of their job to help with something small.

The apartments were fantastic. Beds were incredibly comfortable. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The service was fantastic and the owners were only to happy to help with questions. Super close to the main village no need to drive any where. Also close to some great walking tracks. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful apartment centrally located, friendly staff and great for families. Great facilities in apartment and very welcoming staff. Modern and spacious 3 bedroom apartment with a great view. Thank you for going out of your way to have some groceries available in my room for my kiddies.

This was our first stay at Village Lake Apartments. Upon arrival we were met by the managers Jill and Stuart who were so friendly and accommodating. The whole experience was sublime. The 3 bedroom apartment was modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed and really well situated so we could walk everywhere in the village. The views were beautiful, the beds extra comfy and we didn't want to leave!

Always a pleasure staying here. Owners are friendly and helpful. This is our 7th stay at Village Lake and the experience has been consistently excellent. Short walk to the hot pools and the best eateries in Hanmer.

Stayed here as part of a road trip around New Zealand. The decor and facilities is of the highest quality. Well situated and I wished I lived there permanently. The fireplace is delightful and really sets the scene. I wished I was there for longer as it is a lovely apartment.

Beautiful villas and very central to the pools and shops. Only downside were the horrible beds. Had to remove the down duvet that was being used as a mattress topper. Only one type of pillow — soft. Even with the duvet removed the beds were still way too soft. All 4 of us woke up every half hour.

Just great. Very clean and comfortable. Very central but nice and quiet. Very close to everything. Can use Heritage hotel tennis court.

Just got back from NZ and this accom easily was the highest quality and best value. They have funishings exactly like I would like in my own house (if only I had the money). Amazing view and close to the center of town. A must stay.
